There wasn't a tremendous amount of items for sale in this place as there is sometimes in these types of stores. This is one of several vintage stores along highway 69 in Chouteau. The woman working was polite and friendly. Prices were on the higher side. There were a couple of bargains if you took your time to sift through the stuff. There is a back room of merchandise that is in a hodgepodge manner. It's not air conditioned so you have to look fast on a hot day. Open Wednesday through Saturday till 5pm. Parking available.

And then about a month later, we did the same thing and again they were closed. They keep hours very sporadically. Now Scott. the owner also maintains an Etsy store and I assume probably one on Istgrift too as well given his price structure. He also maintains a website. . So I messaged him on his website directly about a certain piece that I wanted that was the exact dimensions that I needed. He really had no interest in helping me. I said what is your price with shipping and I did not ask for a discount. He says I'm not currently discounting THAT piece and shipping to Fort Worth will be $390 plus tax. And I was like well then I consider coming up to pick it up if it is in your store ?.. no it's in storage. $1700. I guess it's not a big enough sale for this guy. But after reading the reviews in here and how he denied a girl in a wheelchair access to his store, I think the guy is an A1 A hole. I'd skip this one. And I certainly wouldn't make the drive a third time from Fort Worth to go see him.

The furniture was as described and pictured and Scott actively pointed out any flaws (they were so minor I would not have noticed) in advance to make sure there were no surprises. I did a screenshot and sent them to a friend in Texas, who shares my love for cow print, just so he could admire them, too. A few minutes later, he told me that he contacted the store, purchased them for me, and they were ready for pickup... as a happy gift. Thanks, Jack! I had never been in the store before, only admired their goods online. The pandemic has kept me home for the most part, but now I had an excuse to visit their store. As I approached the front door, I noticed that they seem to be very serious about the pandemic, with sanitizer at the door, mask required signs, and encouraged social distancing. This put me more at ease. I appreciate that and wish I could give one more star for that reason. They had my pillows ready for me, but I took some time and checked out their store. That place is a plethora of unique goodies and I was quite impressed. The prices are reasonable and fair, and if I had more time, I probably would have come home with a ton of stuff. I only wish I would have made it to their store sooner, particularly before Christmas. I definitely will be returning. PS I absolutely love the pillows. They go with my decor perfectly and are great quality. Iris was a little hesitant at first (see photo) but she has since warmed up to the pillows that kind of look like her.

I don't want to see political garbage as I walk into an establishment. Total turn off. Won't return there to shop. Why not a happy welcome customers sign or something else cheerful?!
