I had a crown put on my front tooth and if it weren't for my cat like reflexes that thing would have called into my stomach or lungs. He dropped it twice. Oh and they schedule so far out, it's absolutely ridiculous.

They will drop your apt. and then never call you back to reschedule. The people working there are nice, but nice does not clean your teeth or schedule your appointments. Mr Archibald is not very professional. He thinks he is better than his patients and will treat you like your inferior to him, not always. I would not recommend going to this office unless you want troubles down the road. 4.2 out of 5 review rating for a Dentist is not very good to say the least. That is like a B- grade at best. Would you let any B- Dr. work on you or a loved one? If you do leave him any constructive criticism or to his office, like how to do a better job with customers, he will text your phone and send you letters in the mail harassing you and terminating his services. What a guy!!!

Please be careful about going here, get a second opinion at the very least. Things started out good…read morewith an emergency extraction. Dr. Ace recommended implants so I moved forward with that. Everything done on these implants has been done incorrectly. The depth was too shallow not leaving enough room for teeth, the locators were put in incorrectly, and at the wrong angles, resulting in the screws breaking off inside the implants. The wrong size tray was used, when making liners, she joked about doing science experiments, and it still wasn't mixed right. So here I am after over a year of struggling to even eat and am having these implants removed and replaced by a specialist. She seems nice and acts like she cares but it was all about the money as she obviously had no experience doing this type of work. The quality of care is horrendous, you make an appointment and then sit for hours waiting for her to show up.

My daughter saw Dr Ancion today for a broken tooth. She is already very nervous about going to the…read moredentist. Dr A didn't even introduce himself to her. He was cold not gentle at all. At some point during her procedure, after already numbing her, he and his assistant took a 45 min lunch break leaving her in the chair. When they came back her anesthesia had already worn off, which she mentioned to them but the disregarded. They proceeded with the procedure and their breath reeked of Taco Bell. The crown they put on her tooth looks and feels jagged. It is painful and she can't bite down. She said this to the dentist and he shrugged it off. The only after care instructions he gave to her was to not eat steak. No education on pain management or anything. The price tag was also much higher than we have experienced elsewhere. I tried to keep her close to home to ease her anxiety and time involved but it was NOT worth it. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Hopefully they will make this right, but I'm not hopeful. *** As an update to my situation from over a week ago things have gotten worse. I was hopeful that things would be made right as the offered a refund for the terrible services that they provided. Not only have we not received the refund, they billed our insurance so now we don't have any insurance benefit remaining to move forward with another provider to get it fixed. Not only that but we specifically called and asked if that dentist was in our united healthcare network and they said YES. This was in fact not the case. It was billed as OUT OF NETWORK. So the cost is insane. Not only will we be filing a grievance with the state, we will also be reporting to United Healthcare and the ADA.

I haven't had issues with my teeth or had any issues with different dentists, but since I've…read morestarted seeing them I feel like I've been getting recommendations to do more work than probably is necessary since I've taken very good care of my dental health. They charged me over 500 dollars to get a mouth guard (since I grind at night which is true) that I lost shortly after getting it and tried to get them to make me a replacement immediately after I lost it at a work trip and they said it wouldn't fit and that I would need a whole new set of imprints which is incorrect. I would be skeptical of some of their recommendations. I also had a crown and it did fit correctly and they tried to fit it again and I continued to have pain with my jaw and overall the dentist didn't even come look at personally she just sent me to a specialist and said I "might" need a root canal. Now I might have a unique situation but it doesn't appear that way and this appears to be standard practice so I'll be finding a new dentist. The staff is generally friendly and the office is up to code but, at this point I don't think the dentist has done a competent job and I would not recommend them to any friends or family. Nor do they really seem like they care about the pain my teeth and jaw have been.

I had a crown this morning that was the most comfortable, relaxed, and care forward service I've ever had.. every need was met /exceeded; every comfort was provided; and Dr R's open, responsive, and clear joy in her life and work was very clear... I've been going to Highland Smiles for many years and it's been wonderful to watch the practice evolve to what it is now under Dr R's leadership.. The staff is excellent, well- trained, and caring.. I left smiling this morning after my procedure.. Thank you all so much!!
