I highly recommend First Class Travel, and Scott Carrozza is fantastic. I have been dealing with Scott for the past 4 years. He was highly recommended to me by friends who worked with Airbus and I'm very thankful for their recommendation. I first contacted Scott back in 2018 on behalf of a good friend that wanted to travel from D.C. to the Philippines to meet extended family for the first time. My friend had never flown before, in fact he had never set foot in an airport before, so flying half way around the world was a huge endeavor. I simply didn't have the experience to help him with this complex trip. Scott was wonderful throughout the entire process. He managed to book seats with more space (which my friend truly needed), the flight both ways had one only stop and my friend didn't need to change terminals (which would have been extremely stressful and confusing for him). Scott also arranged overseas health insurance and made reservations at a fantastic hotel in Manila. From start to finish, Scott worked all the issues, and my friend had the time of his life and a life changing experience. My friend had such a positive experience, he decided to visit the Philippines again the summer of 2020. I once again contacted Scott to help facilitate this second trip. Scott and I started the reservation process well in advance in February 2020, and shortly after, the trip was finalized. Then Covid-19 hit and the Philippines was hit very hard. Travel was too risky and too restrictive so I contacted Scott and inquired about canceling the trip to get a refund. Scott stepped right in and worked the issue. The entire trip was canceled and my friend received a refund. Now that restrictions have lifted in the Philippines, my friend is again making plans to travel there this summer. I'm currently in touch with Scott and he is working his magic again by arranging a trip for my friend this summer with all the same requirements. I am confident this trip will be as spectacular as the first time and certainly won't be the last. I know this review is lengthy but it is my first review and it covers 4 years of doing business with Scott. I know I will be writing many more reviews in the future for my friend and for my family. Coming back form Punta Cana, we were put on a connecting flight. Once we got to FLL, we were told the flight to BWI is leaving in 4m and we would not make it. We were told we could get the next flight to Midway then another flight to BWI, which would get us home by 1:30am OR wait until the next day! With no choice, we opted for the flight to Midway, checked our luggage and proceeded to the gate. We then heard they were still calling for passengers for our original flight so we hurried to the gate to see if we could still get on. We were told yes, but our luggage is still going to Midway and we'd have to go to BWI after 1:30am to retrieve it! We should NOT have been booked for a connecting flight with only a 2hr timeframe between flights! This travel agent had no sense or idea as to how long it would take to get thru customs!!! Everything about our, literally, last minute trip was, as the name implies, first class! Scott worked magic when our plans to travel to Canada in June were unexpectedly up-ended due to travel restrictions. He found us an exclusive, all-inclusive resort on the Mayan Riviera at a phenomenal price. The resort grounds were heavenly, the staff kind and attentive, the FOOD was amazing, the room beautiful. Scott arranged for our flights, as well as our transfers from the airport to the hotel and back. You name it, everything was perfect. (Even the weather!) The bar has been set high. We booked flights/hotel/airport transfers/all inclusive packages through Scott and we cannot be any happier with the services and the accommodations that he chose. Scott helped us plan our honeymoon. We had no idea where we wanted to go and he helped guide us without taking over. We ended up choosing a resort in Jamaica. Scott helped us really get the best deal for our budget. All the upgrades he recommended were worth the cost and we were so happy we took his word. We only had a few days to book, and he promptly replied to all of our emails, and was invaluable in the resort decision process. After being "sold" into Scott's services, the concerns slowly started. Scott was to help our destination wedding party with their travel and lodging arrangements. Our first worrisome experience was when we showed up AT our destination location for a site visit and there was no reservation in their system for us. The resort was kind enough to let us eat at their restaurant while both they and I (via Scott) tried to figure out what was going on. Throughout our planning process, I received several complaints from our guests stating that Scott either would not respond to their email or was pricing their trip fairly high. Scott says he'll match prices, along with the fact that he will get you a significant amount of money/nights back in credit based on the number of guests, but he did not fully disclose the computation he used to get to whatever credit would be returned by all your guests going through the hassle of working with Scott. A decent businessman will at least respond to a client's email to acknowledge them, and let them know that he is working on their quote. Crickets loses business! I received emails meant for one of Scott's other clients several times...Lord knows how many emails from our party were mixed up with someone else's. One set of our guests never made it on our list of clients booked through Scott. I noticed it after Scott finally (reluctantly) gave me the list of guests booked through him. Based on all the issues I had during our planning process, I had to make sure that our guests wouldn't be screwed upon arrival, so I wanted to make sure everyone was listed in the reservation system when we arrived at the resort for the wedding. My mother in law missed her connection even after expressing her concern with the short layover the itinerary Scott suggested and provided her. She therefore ended up missing a full night and two days prior to the wedding. Scott will always find something or someone else to blame. His role is to serve the best interest of his client (by suggesting that no connections under an hour be made for specific routes), but not a single guest expressed satisfaction dealing with Scott. We even had a bunch of guests who didn't go through him after having a bad taste left in their mouth from when they contacted him. For a travel agent that boasts how long he's been in business, it's pretty questionable why he doesn't have more reviews. We had well over 50 guests at our destination wedding and gave him over $50,000 worth of business, and our "credit" at the end was less than $250. My headaches with him were not worth it. My suggestion is to look for someone else, or just let guests book their own and save their own money. The sale of a stress free experience was a massive misnomer. There's a reason travel agents are few and far in business these days; and working with Scott was a perfect example as to why I would never use one again. You'll save yourself and your guests more money than he ever will. No one cares more about your bank account than you! read more

We worked with Scott for our 30th anniversary trip. We traveled to Amsteram, Bruges and then cruised to Norway and Scott was very helpful as we fine-tuned our travel plans. Scott was wonderful to work with -- I had a European trip to several countries this summer and just wanted an agent to find me the best schedule/price for plane tickets. He and I exchanged a number of emails and he was very patient and responded very quickly, even to emails that I sent him months after booking the flights. I liked that he was available if I encountered flight issues while abroad (I did not end up having any issues, but it was nice to know he'd help me in case). I used Scott to arrange a trip to Costa Rica. The experience was very mixed. He was opinionated and pushed hard for me to reserve with certain hotels even after I had found different hotels online I thought would be more suitable to me and my family. The two hotels I selected were great. Instead of providing pros and cons and presenting an even assessment, he did not give me options and even went so far to suggest as to the one hotel I chose that he fully expected I would come back to him after the vacation to tell him how he was right and the hotel was not good. As to transportation services he arranged, they were confusing, involving different companies, and I ended up paying more than I needed to. I had to ask specifically about a breakdown of costs and near the end , just before the trip, he said he would have to do a lot of looking to find an e mail with the breakdown. I found the e mail on my own, so no help from him. The approximate cost he gave me of one private transfer was off, and I think he basically lost interest after he got his fee. Even though I found better transportation he said it was too late to change. And there were several tour companies involved, which was a surprise to me and which I'm sure added to my cost. I booked tours through the concierges at hotels I stayed out and that was much more enjoyable and a positive experience that working with Scott's tour company. I give him two stars because I did change my mind quite a bit on accommodations and length of the trip so I was not an easy client in that sensen. But he did not help because of his attitude and his sense that based on his years of experience, I should simply not question his judgment. He does not have the best listening skills. And I agree also with the other reviewer who said he blames others rather than himself. it was a stressful experience. I had a good vacation despite the added stress from working with Scott. read more
