Horrible customer service....I made a deposit in the ATM which banks want you to do so they do not…read morehave to have interaction with a customer.... While I was making the deposit the screen went black and then I got a message that the terminal was being updated...so I wait and wait and wait until it finally rebooted or the checks returned...nothing!! No record of a deposit and upon inquiry which took several days to get a reply I was told I would have to wait 10 days as it may take that long to get them out. It's all on me and the bank takes NO responsibility....No teller, the branch manager, or the help desk could tell me when the machines are serviced or checks removed from them or what happens to them. I'm a loyal customer since PNC opened in the area....Less and less customer service, more and more fees...and very little interest in my problem. I have five checks in limbo which is money I very much need and all they do is tell me it is policy. I am very disappointed and my guess is that all banks are moving toward total automation so that if anything goes wrong the bank is not responsible. One last thing,,,,,who had the idea for a terminal to back up/upgrade on a Friday at 5:30 pm which seems like it would be a peak customer traffic time? Horrible service in every way.

PNC ban in general is the worst bank I've ever banked with. No 24/7 customer service, a fewer…read morelocations, a fewer teller in branches, very high fees, super delays on posting transactions, which sometimes can cause you to forget the stupid transaction and you think you checking balance is higher than what actually is. Very bad online service and continue to list the bad things about this bank. When I opened the account, they said that if I maintain a direct deposit with certain amount, I wouldn't never have to pay for checks. But when time came for me to order checks, the charged me $12.00. They said only certain account don't have to pay for checks and my account is not one of them. Liars. Basically this bank is BAD.
