Told me ahead of time they were still waiting to be put on our insurance co's provider list, but said we could self-pay. Thirty minutes and $80'ish later, we were walking back out the door after having seen the provider. Didn't feel rushed through like cattle and Dad was feeling much better the following day due to the RX provided. Only issue was one of the RX given the ins didn't want to cover. I prob could have called the office back and asked for an alternative, but instead just got a partial fill. So 4.5 stars, and that rounds to 5. Just please, for the love of all, keep enough providers and staff on hand to ensure your wait time stays reasonable. Area doesn't need another shoddy and understaffed urgent care!

I wasn't sure if she was calling out for me to come back but she stood behind the door and called my name mispronounced it and gave me hella attitude when I came up asking if it was me or not her response was "your the only one sitting out there" but she never came around the corner or nothing. She put up an argument and didn't apologize. It wasn't the point of mispronouncing the name it was the way she went about it, very unprofessional. She honestly doesn't need to be working there as a nurse and dealing with people who don't feel well. We are a military family and it was just a terrible encounter. Her Name is Gabriella (Gabby)

I made an appointment at Nextcare on Glensford Road, intentionally selecting this area based on the high quality of businesses surrounding it. I made my appointment for 6 pm to give myself time to hydrate on soup and tea. My overall experience was so-so. I showed up to my appointment 48 minutes early and I was not seen until an hour after my appointment. I understand the nature of triage so it was not so much the wait. A few notes: (1) I did not look at the google reviews so I did not see the comments previously about the "waiting". I wish I would have taken some photos of the waiting areas but it had a filthy smell and it looked as if it had not been cleaned/sanitized in a very long time. I would not want my kids to play or sit in the kid table/chairs. I felt like going to relief myself from drinking so many liquids throughout the day but I stepped inti the restroom and it looked and smelled the same as the waiting area so I held myself until i went home. Also there was no toulet paper anyway. Just not a condition I would expect to see at a "medical clinic.". (2) The front desk staff do not really hear you as I entered I told them I had pre-filled the documents and scanned my IDs on the web for this appointment. The desk person did not make eye contact but she told me to grab a mask and provide info that I previously provided online. I complied and she did later acknowledge she saw my online input. On that note, I have verification that Nextcare "pre-online documentation process" does work. (3) Regarding the masks...The front desk requested strict compliance with the mask rule which I complied and appreciated. However, they do not enforce it with the already seated patients in the waiting area. I saw most of the adults and children were not masked up. The front desk staff does not enforce them to comply. The enforced conpliance ends after they tell the patient at check-in. They cannot see over the counter if nobody bothers to get up and monitor the waiting area. (4) The actual medical staff was very caring once I was called up to walk through the door to be seen. I was given a rapid COVID exam. I was negative. Then a PA or Doc consulted me and told me there are a lot of new strains of COVID out there so he was going to do another COVID test to send out to labs who specialize in the patest strains trend. I did not know until a medical friend of mine told me later that I could have refused because that is an upsell that uour insurance may not cover and it "will come out of your pocket.". I did not know, I thought the medicalvdoc or PA was exercising authority to ensure a citizen is not contaminating the community since I drive catering/delivery in the evenings. (5) the actual medical staff and the Doc/PA told me I had to pick up a prescription at CVS on Owen drive. Not sure why they told me to go there...there is a closer CVS location at Skibo. So I went over to CVS to wait there forctwo hours only for the pharmacist Brittany to tell me there is no prescription. The Nextcare wants you to buy Robitussen. That was a complete waste of time. I wish Nextcare would have told me that instead of sending me on a wild goose-chase.

Upon arrival, I was told they were not taking any more walkins and the site was managed by corporate but they had decided to close early. Very disappointing to bring my sick child here because the website stated we could only to be turned away.

These are the laziest, most inconsiderate healthcare workers I have ever seen. The front desk lady…read morewas nice, but the nurse, provider (PA Marshall Price), and manager (Emily Deyoung) are not patient centered and frankly, do not care if you are in serious pain. I am going to tell you, if you need a prescription written, then this is your place, if you need any work done to you, then please go elsewhere. I have had pain in my toe from an ingrown toe nail for almost 2 weeks, on Sunday, June 28th, the pain was so bad I went to this FastMed location thinking my nail would be fixed, which would require the provider to actually drain and cut the infected nail out of the corner. I thought I would leave feeling better, but I just felt upset and in the same excruciating pain. I am a higher risk patient when it comes to my toenails. Especially with neuropathy and being pre-diabetic. The nurse was kinda mean, she did not smile once, maybe she was mad. The provider, Marshall Price, was rushing and didn't even put my sock back on after quickly peeking at my toe, I received x-rays I didn't need. I knew my darn toe wasn't broken, I just wanted my toe nail that was stuck in my toe to come out! Yes, I received antibiotics, but guess what? My toe still has a nail stuck in it which caused the infection in the first place. Duh?...I stated, I need my ingrown toe nail out, I complained about the pain from the nail piercing my skin! I thought speaking to the manager, Emily Deyoung would help, but she is kind of dingy and did not understand my problem; nor did she want to. Afterall, she told me to go to my primary care provider to get referral help with seeing an actual podiatrist. Umm, hello, if that was the case, then I would have just waited one more day (Monday) and just got antibiotics and a referral from my primary. Why would I even waste my time on Sunday, for nothing? She does not understand that logic for some reason. Frankly, Emily Deyoung told me she would call me back in an hour and just didn't. I have an issue with incompetence and liars. After I told her I needed to speak to someone above her, she mentioned that she would have to write up a complaint, after being on hold for a very long time I asked her for an incident number, but she couldn't give me one. She stated someone would call me with that information. So I guess, I can add "liar" to her job description since I haven't heard from anyone, yet AGAIN. I told her, I will make sure I complain on every level possible and be sure to spread the word in every way possible. Please my fellow neighbors and friends, please go to another urgent care that actually cares about your well-being.
