After meeting with her the hygentist Emily took me back, examined what needed to be done and from there I met the wonderful dentist Dr Hanset. Not only was Dr hanset very nice but he also walked me through what the experience and work I was about to have done, he was very thorough and clear spoken. I have seen many many dentists over my 24 years of life and Dr hanset and his crew stuck out to me the most, everyone was awesome, but Dr hanset made my experience unforgettable. I wish I was local so I could make him my primary dentist. I would recommend Gresham advanced dentistry and Dr. Hanset to anyone who is nervous about going to the dentist, or just recommend them to anyone who needs or is looking for a new dentist. They refused to use the x-rays they already had and wanted to charge $389 for them both for new x-rays. Be aware this place seems to be more about money than care.

I felt comfortable the entire time. I also needed a guard for night grinding and come to find out that's a very common bad habit. I was fitted for a guard that day and received it a week and a half later and it fit perfectly. Before I left I scheduled to get a few chips in my teeth filled and got back in within the following week, I was in and out in less than hour and love that my teeth no longer have the awe filled chips in them from grinding! I went to Dr Brian Bray for prosthodontic work, and he was unable to complete my dental work…read moreproperly. He gaslighted me and wasted more than a year of my time, not to mention the harm and trauma caused. I had two second opinions by other Prosthodontists and was told my entire case must be redone, and I now need gum surgery. I asked for all my money back, to which Bray agreed, but then he chose to get his dental malpractice insurance lawyer involved. I then learned that Dr Bray (along with his wife Leslie Bray) secretly and illegally recorded at least one of my dental appointment visits. He has admitted to this crime. Secretly and illegally recording a patient visit is obviously a blatant violation of patient-provider confidentiality and trust, along with violating HIPAA and several Oregon privacy laws (in addition to his actions being all-around creepy, deceptive, and manipulative). His actions are against the law and violate my rights on several different levels. It's shocking that a licensed healthcare provider that is supposed to care for patients and be trustworthy and honest would do such dishonest and manipulative things. I am told he also used at least one unlicensed person in some of my dental work. I am posting this brief review to warn other patients of the lack of ethics, care, and skill Dr Bray has shown. In addition, according to him, he has mental health issues, which pose a potential incapacity to practice safely. Of course, I have compassion and empathy for anyone struggling with any issue, but it's stressful and scary to worry about the number of different scenarios that can happen because of his self-described mental health issues. I hope this review is informative and helpful to others. My experience at Portland Prosthodontics was extremely disappointing and traumatic, to say the least.
