She's always prepared to discuss any issues I have at my regular check-ups, and the clinic has been great about getting me in for bone scans and lab tests on short notice. Very convenient. Their business/billing department is an unprofessional quagmire…read more They over bill, they harass & then threaten the customer with collections instead of contacting the insurance provider that they THE OREGON CLINIC HAS A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT with. The Oregon Clinic has a structured fee schedule with in network insurance companies, the insurance carrier will only pay for fees that have been negotiated per their contract. When a patient receives an insurance EOB identifying that they are responsible for payment of a negotiated amount, the customer is legally required to pay that amount. It is then The Oregon Clinics responsibility to contact the insurance company to negotiate any additional fees outside of their contractual agreement. I will never step foot in an Oregon Clinic facility again. Once was enough. I have also informed my family practitioner not to refer patients to The Oregon Clinic. I had a procedure performed, it took them 5 months to invoice me, and paid it promptly. The Oregon Clinic is now threatening me with collections for their over charges. They will loose this one.

My issue was very straightforward and could have been handled in a short phone call with a human being but trying to request a simple change in medication has led to me wasting my time four times over three days and was still uinresolved. At their facility I was told that they had left me a voice mail yesterday but I show nothing. No record of an inbound call. Later in the day I received an email from My Chart telling me of a message but I was again unable to open My Chart and when I went through the process of seeking help it directed me to Providence Health. I've had enough of my time wasted.....I cancelled the procedure. It seems every medical specialty has its own portal that I must spend time setting up and praying that it works. I, for one, am sick and tired of wasting my time trying to communicate in this hands-off, distant manner.

The customer service reps at the front desk are always very kind and efficient, and there never seems to be a wait to sign in for my appointments. The lab and pharmacy seem to be consistently busy in the morning and late afternoon hours, so if you can plan your visit outside peak hours that would be best. The parking lot is spacious and offers a fair number of accessible parking spaces. During inclement weather the parking lot is always well-maintained and salted to help prevent sliding and falls. The facility seems newer than some of the other locations, and I enjoy the pleasant art and landscaping found throughout the property.

They refused to manage my pain properly and although Kaiser responds to reviews, in my experience, they don't follow through on the follow up. The front desk staff are great, the lab folks are nice, and most pharmacy staff are good too. In my experience, your care at Kaiser depends on your provider. You can file a grievance with Kaiser but they NEVER find themselves of any wrongdoing, even when it's clear they were wrong.

The quality of care, respect for patients, and quick response to urgent questions have always been excellent. Timely referrals when needed. "Providence Plaza" is a busy 4-story medical office building at 5050 Hoyt St in NE Portland. It contains many different physician-groups and medical services, such as x-rays and pharmacy. "Providence Primary Care - The Plaza" is located in suite 454. Primary Care staff include office MD, PA, MA, NP, and support staff such as receptionists. "Providence Primary Care - The Plaza" provides direct medical care to everyone in the family, from prenatal to elders. For non-general care, such as surgery or dermatology or psychiatry, they refer patients to an appropriate specialist. Confusions: They are not "hospital people" [the hospital is located one block west]. They are not employees of Providence Health Insurance company, and they can't fix your insurance problems. Lab tests are done by LabCorp, located on the 100 level of Providence Plaza building. By law, all tests require patient's written pre-consent. Relevant comments are always useful to prospective patients. But please comment on the correct business.

This is a for-profit, private travel health clinic that price-gouges and uses a "hard sell"…read moreapproach to get you to buy travel supplements, health supplies, meds and vaccines that you mostly don't need. First, they charge $125 just for the visit, in which a "nurse" who has no visible credentials gives you a bunch of information about the health risks of the countries you're visiting, all of which can be easily found for free online. Then they give you the rundown of the vaccines and meds you will need, using what I felt were scare tactics and pressure. The "nurse" also made untrue statements to coerce me into buying the meds/vaccines from Passport Health as opposed to elsewhere. For example, I was told I could only get a polio booster from a children's health clinic, when they are in fact readily available to adults at Walgreens. I was also told that insurance would not cover any of their offerings, which is in fact not true. I turned down many of their offerings, but ended up feeling forced into paying for a typhoid vaccine, two medications and a supplement. The typhoid vaccine was $228, which is $58 more than what Walgreens charges without insurance. Malaria medication was $68, and traveler's diarrhea medication was a whopping $75 for three pills - that stuff is only worth about $5! In total, I regrettably spent $505, which is money I may as well have flushed down the toilet. And to obtain the medication, I was taken over to this dispensing machine, through which I was required to speak to a nurse practitioner via video call. The technology malfunctioned and the office nurse had to call the NP through her personal cell phone for me to talk to. And when the NP - also with no visible credentials - came on the video, she was sitting in her car, as if she were taking the call quickly between meetings. It all felt very sketchy and unprofessional. I'm honestly concerned that the medications I received were counterfeit and will not work. After going home and realizing I had been the victim of a scam, I complained to Passport Health via phone and email and asked for, at minimum, a price adjustment to match the fair market price of the meds/vaccines, and received no favorable response. I then reached out to my health insurance company to inquire about getting reimbursed. I was told that for one of the medications, I would need an authorization from the prescribing doctor. So I called PassportHealth to obtain that, and the guy on the phone had no idea what I was talking about - it was as if he didn't even know he was working for a health-related company. (I then lost it and said some choice words to this person, which I now regret, but I don't think I've ever been so furious in my life.) While I can never get back the money that was taken from me by this sick, greedy, sham of a company, I hope others will see this and learn from the painful lesson I learned and stay away. I don't see how what PassportHealth doing is legal, and I pray they get shut down.
