He accommodated my request for an appointment on short notice (even offering to work on a major holiday) and honored my requests to stay away from silicone, avoid artificial fragrances and minimize exposure to PFAS/PFOS. Keith taught me what I needed to know to make an informed decision when selecting a detailing package. He made sure that my expectations were realistic regarding the anticipated outcome for my 17-year-old car. Despite the added convenience to me of his house call, Keith's rates were competitive with those from two local brick and mortar companies dedicated to automobile detailing. First in Line Mobile Detailing is the best auto detailing service in New Haven, hands down. I had my first experience with Keith yesterday--he was professional, kind, and flexible over the phone. I didn't have an electricity or water hookup on the exterior of my home, so Keith offered to have me drop my car in an alternate location and shuttle me to wherever I needed to be. Keith took my Subaru that hadn't seen a good cleaning in YEARS and made it glow. He kept me updated on the process and let me know that he wanted to put a bit more time in on the interior to make it spotless. Keith did a great job on my car today. He showed up at my house bright and early as scheduled and went right to work. I was very happy that he used water-based products that didn't leave any residue. Also, I'm sensitive to certain chemicals and I'm happy to say that I got into the car right after he was finished and it was pleasantly absent of any strong aroma. As I shared with Keith, this is the first time I have had a car detailed. I always thought "why pay for something you could do yourself". The answer is that you CAN NOT do what he does yourself without purchasing thousands of dollars worth of equipment and spending your whole day at the job. I have a 10 year old car that had many stains and spots on the carpeting and seats. By far, the material for the seats in my car is the most difficult to work with and clean.
