I have become the local fixit guy for people with chronic pain and disabilities. Oftentimes I surprise myself with the degree of improvement clients experience. Most telling is my mother's condition. For 16 years she suffered increasingly bad sciatic pains associated with scoliosis, until she could barely walk a few steps without being wracked by sharp pains. MDs, PTs, MTs, and acupuncturists had all given up on her. After moving back to NY I worked on her using what Michael taught me. Within 2 months Mom was walking for over an hour at a time. I understand things happen, and as I stated in my reply that I felt bad she was sick. I had no way of knowing that, because she never responded or created a message. I actually would have changed my review had she reached out and explained. But that was not her choice response. She called me names, she implied I was a person who had no empathy or compassion. She continues to return to my original post and makes or other one-touch comments. A person like this isn't somebody I would ever want in my personal space, let alone touching me. Just so you know... I don't care how many 5 stars she has from people, you don't attack people. I would suggest people don't make a bad review because they'll hear about it!

I was a bit nervous as they were since I'm a T4 incomp paraplegic. But they were very accommodating to my needs and made me feel very comfortable. Now if you are looking for all the bells and whistles of a modern day spa, you WILL NOT get that here. This is a school in an older office building. The place is small, dark, and dank. It's built into two phases with the first being a couple weeks long of learning material and some light hands on training before you can start working with clients. They teach facials, waxing, and anything to beautify the skin (dermaplaning/extractions/chemical peels/eyelash extensions/body wraps/etc.) You are given a full dermologica kit of goodies and pro products for your use only because on campus they have an entire dermologica back bar of which you get your product from for use with any clients you might get. Class is 3x weekly with 2 being in person and the 3rd being remote and those days will focus of theory and coursework. Overall my experience was excellent, they don't "punish" you for being absent and you have more time than your actual grad date to finish if you need to miss class for whatever reason. They also have a great leave of absence policy that made me feel a lot more ready to start the program while also working full time with two young children. I loved loved loved the teachers. Adored them. Ms Julie, ms kelle and ms Kristen are fountains of knowledge and I think the networking from them and fellow classmates already with experience in the industry is an invaluable resource.
