The Head of the school Mr. Jim Zwers, Dean Sikica Feldman, Elly Lago and the rest of the Staff go beyond the ordinary to make sure all students are happy, learning and having the best school experience ever. The school is very supportive of the personal goals of each student, guiding them in that direction so they can accomplish their goals. My granddaughters have learned not only academics but social skills and athletic training with the Knights cheerleading team. The holistic approach to education of CAI is brilliant preparing these students for life becoming the best version of themselves, ready to be successful in our society and contributing as a member of a group. At times when My wife was leaving a message at the school she would not ever get a call back, Seemed as if you are not there talking to them eye to eye, There would not serve. The only main draw back is, most of the children really do not finish high school here, they go to other places instead.

In addition, I have never been much of a fan of the principal, Lisa Roth. Her demeanor has always rubbed me the wrong way as it is generally condescending. It has also been very disappointing that the school did not bother to hold the annual 5th grade trip to Washington D.C. which is something most children in elementary school greatly look forward to, our granddaughter being no exception. The school did not even bother letting parents know, we only found out ourselves when we inquired as to when the fundraising for it would begin. I will be very glad when my granddaughter is through attending this school. Thankfully she is finally a 5th grader and on her way out.

Rules must be followed. Plenty of outlets for creativity and fun. (good to have bumpers to keep the bowling balls out of the gutter, as it were...) We have always appreciated and enjoyed what AFA has done for our kids-even when they can't see it! Not the best choice for everybody but Absolutely the best choice for us.
