They failed to provide Medicare with paperwork saying that I needed additional PT. Therefore, Medicare denied their request to provide me with additional services. CORA, in turn, billed me directly for $2,000.00. According to Medicare, CORA should never have billed me. CORA is the one who failed to comply with regulations. I paid them $500 already so they wouldn't sue me until this issue got settled. Medicare called them last week and told them they were not to bill me. CORA thinks they are above the law. They are now threatening to sue me. CORA also lied to my attorney saying my injuries were not severe even though my orthopedist proved my injuries are permanent. This caused me to lose a lawsuit against the people who dragged me through a parking lot with their vehicle. These clinics need to be shut down.
