I just walked out of that branch for maybe the fifth time in the last three years, because the tellers are slow and apparently painfully mismanaged. Please do something about it. It's really a shame. People around me in line today voiced the identical concerns.

In the seven years we have been banking at Wells Fargo, Alamogordo, this is what we have…read moreexperienced, with our checking and savings accounts: 1. They lied about having "free checks" when we opened the account. With $30,000 dollars. 2. For the checking account, they have made several deposit errors.....Pay attention....if you deposit at their ATMs, their faulty ATM machines may read the check amounts wrong. 3. Over the last three years, the drive through service window has been closed several times. The sign usually says "due to staffing problems......." Actually, Wells Fargo cannot keep GOOD employees. When you find a competend one....they will not be there long. 4. Go into the Wells Fargo bank, and you will find yourself in a long line. You will see three or more employees BEHIND the counter, but often only one of them is waiting on customers. 5. If you "make an appointment," to get anything important done, you may find yourself waiting 30 minutes or MORE before they have time for you. Scheduling? what's that ! ??? 6. If you use the outdoor, drive through ATM maching, and it makes a mistake....like EATING your deposits, it will take a MINIMUM of ten days for ANYTHING to be done about it. And, you will have to "make an appointment" to come in later and have them fix it. Meanwhile, your deposit is null and void. 7. Wells Fargo, because of fraud and other banking deficiencies, were ordered to sell our Wells Fargo Home Mortgate. Wells Fargo FAILED to cooperate with the new owner of our mortgage, and it took TWO MONTHS to get accurate information regarding our Escrow Accounts. Imagine your Escrow Funds......disappearing! 8. Call Wells Fargo, and you will get an insane run aroungs...."press this number" always gets you another number to press, but NO HUMAN BEING TO HELP YOU. And if you do get a human being on the line.....you guessed it....CLICK....you are on PermaHold, and the next person who picks up will not be who you need. More time on hold, more errors, more frustration. Wells Fargo's attitude???? Too bad, so sad! We don't care, we don't have to! Of course they always apologize for all their errors, but so did the owners of the Titanic. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. DO NOT BANK AT WELLS FARGO, ALAMOGORDO. You will experience idiocy, ineptitude, and as other complaints here say......JUST A MESS!

I went this morning to get a new bank card, and a gentleman helped me. He handed me a new card with…read morea pamphlet and sent me on my way. Ok, maybe I should have known that I needed to activate this new card, my brain did not catch this. So I went to add this card to make payments on bills and said that the card was invalid. I went back to the bank and I was attended by Centenial. Such a lovely person. I explained that my card did not work. She asked if I activated my card, I said um, no. Uh oh. She hands me the same pamphlet and said to call the number to activate. Then she says, would you like me to call and do that for you? I said yes, that would be great. She called and something did not set right. It would not activate the card. She then got on her computer and force activated it, called that number again to set the pin number, and wow... She is amazing. Thank you Centenial. I am happy I bank with Pioneer.
