I typically do wait a little bit after service to write reviews, just in case something happens. And something that leads to me clicking extra hard on that 5th star... well, the owner reached out for a review, and reminded me once after and said he wouldn't pester me with it again. And sure enough he didn't. So that was cool. But to the real review.... my rental had some tenants who didn't report a leak for months apparently, since they were hiding a cat and didn't want me to come and fix things and see the cat. Long story short, I had to tear down 2 of the 4 walls of a bathroom and an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the kitchen on the other side of the bathroom. Mold was completely black! Needless to say, I really wanted to have this fixed ASAP! And of all the "911" or "emergency" or "fix it right away" type of remediation companies... they all did something similar except 911 Restoration. They all urgently booked a "free estimate", then take a day to send a quote. Then almost all were weeks out to schedule it except for two who can start "immediately". However, they would have to do all these "tests" to get started. 911 wasn't the cheapest, but their quoting agent was very nice, thorough, and most professional sounding. Like, he could've been a sales guy for jet engines not just another contractor. Felt very formal and courteous. In any case, when they say they can start right away, they did. Came out and started demoing the next day after I decided to go with them and sent them a deposit. And while they weren't the cheapest, they did do a bit more than the other guys (had them all itemize what they'd do) and for the common work, they were willing to price match it and did a discount on other areas where they could. They weren't too far off to begin with. Some folks tacked on contingency charges and it felt like hidden fees. 911's quote was straight forward. In the end, when you want something like this addressed, you want it done right. They not only did it right, but felt confident of their work and both the project manager and the workers were all courteous and professional. If there's a lesson to be learned....better declare that friggin cat. Kiss that deposit good bye! *sigh*

We just found out that Victor who was sub contracted by 911 had done a bad job on our door which…read morewas replaced. When we pointed out that the replaced door needed to be painted to the color scheme it was originally done on the smaller door which they replaced. Victor had completely gone ballistic on us but reluctantly agreed to paint the door. This was to be done and not new thing added to his scope of work. He simply slapped on a single coat of paint, no primer no protection. We are in the process of painting the entire door again as the paint is now peeling and was informed by the team working on it now that the priming and protective coating was never applied. I am really disappointed as I was sure they took pride in their work, which is clearly not the case.

It was our first time dealing with water damage and going through insurance and I'm so glad we had Natalie to help us through the process. Natalie is kind, thoughtful, and a great communicator, her emails are well worded which helped us understand the process easily. You can expect the same traits from everyone else on her team, they were a pleasure to work with. When they performed the demolition of our wet drywall and floors, plastic barriers were put in place to contain the debris and target dehumidifiers to dry in place. We were so impressed how well the plastic barriers were able to isolate the work to small parts of our home, protecting our other items from dust. Everything they do, they do with care and precision. From the very first phone call, I had a positive feeling about working with Nathan. After I explained that my investment property had a water heater leak, Nathan immediately told me he could come out the very next day to assess the situation. The leak turned out to be caused by a cracked supply line, which allowed water to spread throughout the water heater area and into nearby spaces, including the bathroom and kitchen pantry. Nathan was extremely thorough during his inspection. He used a moisture meter, knew exactly where to check, and clearly understood the scope and seriousness of the damage. Because we needed to file an insurance claim, an adjuster had to come out as well. Nathan came back to meet with the insurance adjuster and made sure his findings were aligned with the adjuster's assessment. This gave me a lot of peace of mind. Nathan reassured me that he has worked with insurance companies many times and truly understands how the claims process works. He took the time to explain everything to me on what to expect, how the process would unfold, and what steps were worth doing versus what wasn't, especially considering that tenants were living in the property during the repairs.
