We are extremely happy with the workmanship, expertise and customer service of Save the Day Restoration. This is the third time we have used this firm and the third time we have been completely satisfied. This refurbishment included removing all carpet from stairs, upstairs landing, office, bedroom and bathroom. They evaluated the subfloor, made repairs where needed, laid a cork layer and then Cali-Board luxury vinyl throughout, with new tile in the bathroom. The bathroom had a new vanity installed, and new lighted mirror. All rooms were prepped, primed and painted. New base, case and crown were installed. The staircase was redone with the same flooring and beautiful bullnose. It is gorgeous, and our home is completely redone. The two key features that set this company apart from others in our 50 years in this home are: (1) They take pictures of each room, remove and carefully pack everything up, AND unpack and return everything to its place, even rehanging pictures! (2) Their employees are skilled, eager to please, and want to do a job that leaves you happy they were there! The workers deserve more than a sentence. Angel and Daniel were very professional! When they arrived they introduced themselves and went straight to work. They were very careful with my items and made sure they did a great job. When I went to check on them I was very happy to feel the difference in the atmosphere in my garage. The mold was gone, and the air was lighter and fresh! Save The Day Restoration was awesome to work with. From the moment they showed up, they laid down plastic walkways to protect my wood entryway and the clean carpet they had to walk over. And then they created a containment center in both affected areas that had CDC energy! It immediately gave me confidence that they were going to take the job seriously and I was in good hands. At one point, I realized the downstairs carpet padding hadn't been removed (after they had already left for the week on a Friday), and I assumed I'd be stuck waiting until Monday. Danny and Edwin were great, especially Danny! We felt there was a mold issue with one of our rooms but couldn't pinpoint the source as there were no obvious signs of growth. Save the Day sent Danny out for a consultation to our place. We swore the issue was in the wall, but he insisted that they still inspect all possible areas that could be causing the issue. After a detailed walkthrough, Danny identified a leak underneath the house, which led to findings of the source and growth area. We hired Save the Day to remediate the issue. Afterwards, we had a third party air quality tester come in but unfortunately the results still noted a higher than average mold spore count. Danny came back, re-inspected everything, and found additional growth in the back of a dresser in the room. They extracted the dresser and threw it away, wiped down every inch of the room, and ran their air scrubbers for almost two days. We tested the air quality a second time a few days later, and it was cleared completely. We really appreciated that Save the Day and Danny were relentless in helping us resolve this issue, even after they had completed their remediation. My only point of improvement for Save the Day would be regarding their front office communications, at least from my experience. One time they were supposed come out during a specific time slot but was missed, which we found out by calling them as they didn't arrive at the expected time. Also, turnaround time in getting a response from their coordinator via email sometimes took over 1-2 days, or calls/texts weren't always returned in a timely manner. Overall we appreciated their patience as I understood there was a lot of communications between us- I just felt if responses were tighter, the job could've been cut down by several days. However, their quality and attention to detail still outweighed any of the cons, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for restoration services. read more

They had reasonable prices and didn't try to gouge us by adding on unnecessary services (i.e. running blowers when the subfloor and framing was not wet). I had a good experience with Save the Day Restoration. I had a leak from the wax seal of the toilet on my second floor that dropped down through the ceiling into the bathroom on the first floor. Initially we were not sure the extent of the damage or if there was mold. This leak also happened a few days after bringing home our new baby from the hospital. Jose was the first person we talked to and was very helpful. He came out twice to test for moisture before we even hired them or were charged anything. He was very helpful and gave us lots of options for how to approach the repair. Ultimately, we had moisture trapped under the tile in the upstairs bathroom that couldn't get dried out with just a fan from below. I had a major plumbing leak over the holidays during a home remodel and they were very responsive and helpful in coming out to take a look at the scope of the project. I spoke with Al, who by the way has helped me in the past just talking me through some warning signs of mold and how to get rid of it, over the phone. So I spoke with Al and he connected me with the scheduling team and Jose came out and went over the cleanup proposal with me. I agreed to begin work and within days they began. Great company to work with. They were prompt to provide in-home estimate. The estimate was reasonable compared to other local companies. Their estimator was very knowledgeable and walked us through each steps which would happen during restoration. On the day of the job, the crew came on time and set up the containment area very well. They left the dehumidifier and negative pressure machine to run 24 hours to dry the area. We noticed issue with the dehumidifier machine the next day. I contacted saved the day and they had a technician out to replace that machine promptly. Furthermore, what I was most impressed with was that they offered solution to my situation that would be best for me and our house rather than what could be in their financial interest. So we Had an emergency repair needed under the house for some broken pipe with a lot of water under. My dad who owns the house lives 4 hours away but when he came to visit he noticed a smell and went right under the house and diagnosed the issue and instantly stressed out about the costs it would be as he's not young and able to do work under the house anymore. Save the Day is an absolutely amazing company. Raul came out to give us a quote on repairing our disaster of a bathroom. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. Initially we just wanted a quote on repairing the water damage to the framing/floor since our budget was pretty tight. We had every intention of doing the rest of the work ourselves at the time. Raul was kind enough to tell us how we could repair it ourselves in order to save some money. We asked him to quote us a price for the entire remodel since he came out and took the time to look at what we had going on. He got back to us quickly with a quote that came out to about half of what other contractors had quoted us! We decided to go ahead and let them handle the whole job since we didn't really have the time/knowledge to complete the work ourselves in a timely manner. We couldn't have made a better decision as you can see in the pics. The entire job took about 2 weeks to complete from start to finish, and everybody we worked with was courteous, attentive, and genuinely cared about their work. Raul was an amazing project manager, helping us along the way with suggestions on materials, layouts, etc. His attention to detail, and communication with us was above and beyond anything we expected.
