PuroClean made the process of having my flooded wood floors ripped out and replaced painless and…read moreeasy. This is an update to a previous review. So it turns out my wood floor buckling was much worse than originally thought. The dehumidifier and tent installed by Adam at PuroClean did a great job of drying out the moisture beneath my floors. Unfortunately, before the buckling even began, before I even noticed any damage, and before PuroClean came out the first time, the water had apparently been sitting for quite a while doing it's damage to the wood and also began creeping up my walls, separating my bottom molding from my wall. It took over a week for that damage to make itself known because between myself and the guys at Puroclean, every inch of my condo had been checked for possible additional water damage (aside from the floors). When I noticed it late at night I frantically called Stuart thinking I must have a burst pipe in my wall, and he was out first thing the next morning to determine where the water could have been coming from. We found it was residual water from the original flood and he installed heaters and another dehumidifier to dry out my walls and prevent further damage. By the end of the whole fiasco, I had 4 separate areas of buckling on my floors where the water had had a chance to sit before the PuroClean guys were able to work their magic and dry out all the moisture, and a small hole behind my bottom baseboard on my wall where we were trying to determine the cause of the moisture in the wall. At that point it was clear I needed to rip up my floors and install new ones. My project manager from PuroClean, Dax, took care of all the details for me. He referred me to a great flooring guy and plumber to fix the flood. In addition to the great referrals, Dax coordinated all the work including the demo work done by his guys and installation of the new floors with the flooring guy, essentially taking all the worry and work out of my hands. All I had to do was be present to let them in and do the work. The demo work was done by Adam, Tony, and Derek at PuroClean. These guys worked until they were utterly exhausted to pull up my floors, that we later learned had been improperly installed by the original builders. They were such hard and enthusiastic workers. They also happen to love cats and were patient when my deaf rescue cat continued to venture out to explore, undeterred by the loud banging associated with pulling up the floors. All the PuroClean employees were genuine joys to work with. As a female that lives alone, I am often cautious about having workers come to work when I am home alone, but that concern never entered my head with these guys. They were polite, friendly, professional, and patient with pets and a genuine joy to work with. PuroClean really made what would normally be an awful and upsetting situation as painless as possible. They got all the estimates for me, found the best vendors, and took care of all the head-ache causing situations that arise when your condo is flooded and your floors are ruined. Most importantly, the quality of their work was phenomenal, and I truly could not be happier with the end result. As much as I wish the flood and need for new floors never occurred, I really don't think I could have asked for a better outcome. I truly can't think of any criticism to raise about PuroClean.

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! *please read my whole review and…read moreadded comments at the end for my response to their reply* Team was friendly at first and showed me pictures of their work (which was super deceiving), however, after they left I was able to thoroughly inspect the work provided. I had a basic HVAC clean. When i went upstairs, i realized air vents on the ceiling were re-installed WITHOUT SCREWS. This was apparent in several locations. The few that had screws were drilled too far and stripped the surface therefore also making the vents loose. Additionally, work done in the attic with the hvac ducts was improperly reinstalled to the point of the ducts pushing vents out of ceilings and protruding into the room. Because of all of these reasons, and so many vents falling out of my ceiling, i had personally property that was damaged. When I reached out 7 times, they never responded until I disputed it with my bank (funny how that works, right?). Then they wanted to come and fix their issues. They gave me the "landlord special" and didnt address the personal property damaged that was caused due to their negligence. Their response when i showed them the personal property damage was "we didnt do that." I had moved into my house 2 weeks prior and none of the issues were on the detailed inspection report. I shared all of my photos, inspections, etc with my bank and finally am finished with that. All in all, I cannot recommend using LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE more. That is unless you are okay with poor service, property damage, and negligent & arrogant team members. Hope this helps. I have photos, inspections reports, and a secondary company coming in to review your work and they were appalled! Your company can claim you did nothing wrong and remediated the situation but you did not. Property damage was done. You can claim it was not your fault, but clearly both our banks agreed it was from the overwhelming amount of proof provided by me. The remediated situation was a temporary fix and the second those registers need to be checked or cleaned again, the issue will represent itself. Do not claim that you guys did nothing wrong and fixed the issue when you very clearly did not. I submitted 25 pages of proof to the bank. I did call you 7 times with no response and also have proof of that. This company would be better off just admitting their mistakes rather than lying. Thanks!
