Every time I visit, I have an amazing time! Great Barber Shop and service is met. Love the vibe it gives off too!

I had a scheduled appointment at 2:45 PM and arrived early at 2:30 PM, acknowledging my appointment time upon arrival. Despite this, I wasn't helped until 3:20 PM. It turns out that the staff mistakenly took someone else in my spot without verifying their identity. Throughout this time, I watched multiple people come and go while I sat there with no communication or assistance. The lack of organization and communication was glaring, and the customer service was unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but what made this experience so disappointing was the complete disregard for acknowledging or resolving the issue promptly. Sitting there for nearly that long without any updates is simply unprofessional. This is now the THIRD time this has happened to us at this place. I expected much better and sincerely hope they take steps to improve their processes because this experience was frustrating and left a very negative impression. read more

Best shop in town! Always a good experience going here and all the barbers do a good job.

Booking an appointment is so easy to do online now. I have two sons that get monthly hair cuts and every time the barbers knock it our if the park. Boys are in and out fairly quickly and are always happy with their cuts. read more

Visited 1st. Street twice now and again I didn't get what I wanted, which was just a trim. The barber's are young and talented but just don't listen and do what they want. A simple trim is not a buzz as they assume everyone wants. For $32 you should leave happy not frustrated. read more

Asked for 2 inches off the sides and the top and they completely got rid of all my hair they probably cut off 6-7 inches. Never going back don't go here! read more

I have been going to this barber shop since they opened and am now a regular. I bring my kids here too. It's a great barber shop with great barbers for a great price. One downside is that they can get really busy and you might have a bit of a wait unless you plan on getting there when it's not during their peak. I wish they did shaves. read more

Barbers don't wear masks. Even if vaccinated they should. It's a safety issue. My son had his haircut there on Dec. 31 and is now sick. Don't go there even if you are vaccinated. read more

I followed Juan from a shop he "worked" in to this shop which is his. I travel an hour round trip to get there and wouldn't do that if it wasn't for the great haircut and the professionalism he has for his business. He has renovated and expanded this shop and it looks great, I would urge anyone needing an excellent haircut at an extraordinarily fair price to go in. read more

I have been having my hair cut at this barbershop for 20+ years. I stopped in on Saturday to make an appointment to have my hair cut and the barber who was going to cut my hair wanted to know what "number" my haircut was. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about. No one has ever talked to me about a number. I usually tell the haircutter how short I want the cut to be. The hair cutter today insisted on knowing what number clippers he was to use on my sideburns. Again, I told him I had no idea what the hell he was talking about. I just wanted to have a haircut. He continued on, insisting that I give him a number. Frustrated, I left without making an appointment. There are numerous haircutters in Cloverdale and after being a loyal and satisfied customer of First Street Barbershop for a long time it is time to change. read more

I've been going to this location for probably 15 years. Sandy and Elvia were great. I was bummed to see them move on, but Juan and the guys are great. The place is clean and bright and Juan seems like a good mentor for. Lot of young guys learning the trade. I've never been in where the place wasn't packed with people of all ages waiting patiently for whatever it is they want. I'm a pretty straight forward cut, but the styLes I see walking out the door sometimes make me wish I were an ambitious young fella again. If you're looking for a great haircut, and more of an authentic barbershop experience, Juan and the guys at first street are worth a shot. My son asked for a fade and received a complete buzz. He is now left with a completely shaved head. He has been so upset for the past two hours. Never allow your child to go to the shop. Their was also a young stylist using profanity in front of a three year old. read more
