Went into the shop on a Friday to book an appointment for my boyfriend. Staff were very welcoming. Manny was very sweet and was able to talk to me about the services that I could choose from. Made an appointment for the next day. Vibe was chill and relaxing. Staff welcomed me to stay and hang out while my boyfriend got his beard trimmed up. Okay, Sonoma County here we go with the haircut review. Now I'm picky when it comes to my children's hair, especially with the quality of the establishment. Yamel, who was my children's barber was able to squeeze my children in even on his day off! He knew exactly what to do with curly hair (dry cut) and listened to what my boys wanted. As soon as you walk in the barbershop you feel a great energy, small details in the way they "take care of you", the full service you'd find in a classic barbershop from back in the day but with a new modern twist,my barber paid attention to my hair and asked all the right questions, he gave great detail to my hair since my hair isn't the best it has been in years (won't go into details), but he made it look fresh, clean and I definitely felt like a millions bucks! My usual barber must've ran into some bad luck this morning and couldn't make it in. I'm headed to Sac this afternoon and needed a hair cut for Xmas family gathering. I called around 915 and Gentleman's was the only shop to answer after calling a few. Marcos whom I believe is the owner answered my call. I explained my situation, while letting him know I understood that they're an appointment preferred shop, if they had an opening, I was in a jam. He said come on down! Very nice shop, multiple big screens, the World Cup was on, very communal experience. I left with a solid hair cut, very pleased at how much attention was paid to detail. Place opened up near my office so I decided to give them a try. Stopped in and asked how long it would be before I would be taken care of. The owner said about 20 minutes. Ok, not a problem I still had plenty of time until I had an appointment that afternoon. After waiting about 30 minutes and seeing that none of the 3 chairs were close to being finished I started to worry a little, I asked how much longer and was told just a few minutes. After another 10 minutes I had to go. If he would have told me the honest wait time I could have had the option to either wait or return, so I wasted 40 minutes and still didn't have a hair cut. Wasn't a good customer first impression for a lasting relationship you want to have with a barber. Sadly my other barber of 30 years retired.....( how selfish of his, eh? ) read more

Toys R Us had better customer service and people skills in the building and that company is out business.

"Cuco" did my $12 beard trim and somehow managed to ruin it beyond belief. I have only once written a negative Yelp review; not only did I return to the shop to express my extreme dissatisfaction (also a first) but now I've had to shave my entire face because of how bad of a job he did. I haven't been clean-shaven and cherubic in two years...because nobody else has screwed up this badly. He asked me if I wanted him to "do my mustache" -- God, I wish I had known what he meant. He gave me a pencil mustache that was uneven on one side; can you possibly screw up worse than that? He also left me with a billy goat chin of more scraggly hairs than I had before. Go in looking a little rough around the edges, come out looking like a lopsided Roger Waters. read more

After a horrific experience at SuperCuts I stopped in here randomly for my next haircut. I always figured my hairstyle needs were pretty basic, yet despite this it's amazing how frequently I walk out of the shop underwhelmed or straight up disappointed. I'm a dude who basically has a typical conservative haircut which is, well, short. I also brush with a part down one side. It's amazing how difficult most stylists seem to have with this cut considering it's you're typical 'don draper'-esq cut. Well today I got a cut and it's definitely the best one I've ever gotten. And thankfully my wife agrees. Charles was the gentleman who cut my hair and I will be going back to him now every time. I guess there is an art to even my style of haircut. read more

These guys give a great cut but are very unprofessional. We had an appointment but had to wait 15 min while our barber ate his lunch. While my son got his cut the barbers talked about a party they went to and the sluts that were there. They also made a reference about "white boys", that was awkward considering that my son and I are white. The good cut is not worth all that. We will definitely not go back. read more

Good place to get your beard trimmed and lined, which is especially good since there are not many other barbers in the area. Just don't take their reservation system too seriously. 2 out of 3 times I have reserved at a particular time slot only to be taken care of 10-15 minutes later. On my most recent visit I had to leave despite having an appointment, as it seemed clear to me that I was not getting my beard trim at least 20 minutes past my 1:30 PM appointment. My advice with these folks: expect to wait regardless of whether you make an appointment or simply walk in. read more
