In an effort to hit more fairways and lower my handicap, I had unknowingly shortened my swing, which was costing me distance. Right away, Edison identified an issue with my weight distribution using the smart2move plates. I had no idea I was loading my weight much too late in the swing. He also taught me several techniques to create more swing width and make a fuller turn without sacrificing control. I knew my angle of attack wasn't where it needed to be, but after just one lesson I saw a noticeable improvement. In my very next round, I was back to hitting drives around 280 yards total, and I felt much more confident standing over the ball. I highly recommend Edison. The tee boxes could be managed better. Hard to find a level surface and there's multiple grass types. Greens were in great condition. Finished the round in 100 minutes. Groups behind me looked very backed up. I even saw a group of 6 players playing. If you want a quick around I wouldn't reccomend starting after 7AM. Range facilities are solid with mats and chipping/putting areas. Theres a grass area for full swing shots which is nice but it is for members only. Pro shop staff helped me replace my golf ball sleeve after the new one I bought was missing a sleeve. The girl working there was kind but gentleman working answered all my questions and helped me check-in but his tone and attitude gave me the hidden message of "please stop bothering me". I'm not expecting country club customer service from here but I wanted to provide feedback because there's always room for improvement. My expectations were to get a quick round in on short notice and my expectations were exceeded. I definitely will be coming back for early bird golf. I would look at other courses if you getting a quick early bird round is not your priority.

The facility itself was spotless, comfortable, and nicely air-conditioned, making it a great place to spend a an hour in especially on a hot day. One of our favorite features was being able to stream YouTube TV, so we watched the World Cup while practicing our swings--it made the experience even more enjoyable. The simulator technology was incredible. It provided detailed feedback that really helped us understand and improve our swings. I was spending $120 an hour on coaching lessons before this, and getting vague recommendations that only confused me more. For a $40 an hour, 1/3 the price, you get to see exactly what you are doing wrong, not be in the sun all day, and hit all the balls you want. The simulator is top tier, dead simple to use, and gives you a recording of every swing. It even has pose detection to tell you exactly what's wrong with your form. I initially came to see how far I could hit but spent the entire time correcting posture problems detected by the simulator~

I have adjusted my grip and swing multiple times to decrease my slice or hook. Finally, I listened to a good friend and took a lesson with Don. He watched my swing and showed me what I was doing wrong. After he adjusted my grip, my slice disappeared. He then taught me a drill to improve my overall swing. Odd layout with a lot of back and forth between holes. Total yardage is only around 5000-5400 due to 9 par 3s (par 68 course), but long par 5s and distances between a couple of holes make the course deceptively long especially if walking. 3. The local homeless population. Coyote Creek Trail runs through the course and you may see some homeless + their dogs walking along the cart paths adjacent to the creek. I've never had a problem, but one may want to be aware if leaving golf carts unattended. Has a two-tier driving range with range buckets priced similarly to other driving ranges around San Jose, with TopTracer being installed within the past couple of years. Conditions are fair for a muni course. Water features make things interesting. Holes 4, 6, 9, and 18 offer challenges and are my favorites. Pace of play is usually good on the weekdays (3-3.5 hr). Definitely worth playing if you can find a GolfNow deal or twilight. Staff has always been friendly.

I was so impressed that each workout starts out with intentional warm-up stretches followed by the workout of the day with great music and excellent coaches. The workouts are also progressive and build on one another and are always different. This keeps it fresh and fun! The coaches demo all the moves, provide modifications as needed and encourage everyone to be their best. I've been going 4-5x's a week and am 4 months in. My morning workouts have become a habit I want to instill for life. I've seen weightloss results and more importantly, I've become stronger and am lifting heavier than I thought I could. The people are awesome, all friendly and supportive. It's an all around great community and I always feel so good after the workouts!
