Went at 9:30 on a Saturday morning & we're seated right away. They stated busy the whole 1.5- 2 hours we were there. Met a friend & we were catching up. Our server greeted us right away & took our drink orders. We ordered the yogurt granola fruit bowl with a muffin & then the mini sweet biscuits. We also had a soda & a coffee. Giving this a 5 star because of the severs, Priscilla and I think Bailey? Priscilla was SO SWEET and patient. Food was HOT and delicious. The host...that wasn't the case. It was as though she couldn't be bothered when she sat us and when we were standing there waiting to pay she completely ignored us. Bailey quickly said "I'll take care of you!" I'll admit my first impression of First Watch wasn't great. But friends and family kept raving about it, so I gave it another try. I'm not sure if they tweaked the menu since my first visit or if I simply missed it before, but the experience was much better. They actually have options for everyone. Me and some friends went in the day after Mother's Day, our server was great. but when I checked my bank account I realized I had been charged 3 times. I called about 30 minutes after paying and was assured that the two extra pending charges would drop by the end of the day. well they went through. I called again today and was told I would be reimbursed in 3 days When it's already been 5 days. The problem is I don't have 150 dollars to blow on one brunch and every Penny must be accounted for in these times. No mediocre French toast is worth this week long headache. I am surprised I haven't yet written a review. I have visited several times. They have been consistent with service and quality of food. They always have a smile and the every single server has answered all of my question and I have taken they recommendations and all have been a hit. Be aware that this place does get really busy so I highly recommend putting yourself on the waitlist before heading there, specially on weekends. Also, remember to be kind to staff. I witness a customer being rude to the girl checking people in and it's just not ok. Alright, back to the food. It's great quality and tasty. Their drinks are also amazing. Bless our server's heart, Megan, as she seemed flustered than a seasoned mom telling her last child to put that cooking back in that jar, or else! Food was delayed, eggs were smaller than doves eggs, and management never followed up with us, regarding our frustration. To top it off, no apologies, discounts, or understanding were given. I've personally managed multiple restaurants in my past life, and I understand when the place is packed in the kitchen is in the weeds, but we came when there was no wait, the restaurant was maybe 70% full, and servers were standing around watching and on their phones. I'd say First Watch was a very average experience during my most recent visit. The potatoes seemed a little extra hard, possibly undercooked and the sandwich was mediocre. I wouldn't say I didn't enjoy it, but it seemed like something that could be made at home....overall missing some pizazz. So close to a five it pains me to write this. We ordered breakfast to go got home and the key component to the biscuits and gravy was missing. (The gravy). Everything else was phenomenal. My elevated egg sandwich was eggcellent!! Tasty combo of egg, cheese, and avocado. The mixed greens had a nice light dressing a nice compliment. Great place for brunch for all ages. I love the chickachanga and the variety they offer on iced coffees. The kids menu is fantastic as well with lots of good, nutritious options for the kiddos. We came around 12:30 on a Sunday and it was very busy. The wait time was 20 minutes but I don't think we waited there that long. The waitress was super friendly and attentive even though the place was packed. The food was heavenly and I absolutely love that they put their calories on their menu!! That and the healthy food choices are the main reasons we decided to eat here. I had the eggs Benedict Florentine with the greens which had a very pleasant lemon dressing on it. Ordered curbside Togo from First Watch the other day due to this COVID19 thing. Man this virus is really messing up our dining out plans, but I get it...just looking forward to this thing being done!!! Anyway, a friend and I ordered breakfast food and the Traditional breakfast was recommended: eggs, hash browns, sourdough toast, bacon and ham. Didn't care for the fact that the guy taking my order didn't tell me that they didn't have hash browns and then gave me cowboy potatoes, but oh well everything else was nice and tasty read more
