I went with a friend and her mom and they both enjoyed their food as much as I did. I had huevos rancheros. I always order that, it's not like the traditional ones but I like it. Very tasty and the tortilla chips are homemade! We did have the mimosas flight and that was nice. We have 4 different mimosas and they were all good. This place is consistently good and the service is also on point. Weekends tend to be a little busier than normal but that's no issue as I expect a little wait on weekends. Nothing too crazy. Stopped in here for brunch after fasting labs. My best friend ordered the Big Kahuna Hash browns and a Bloody Mary.My friend said that her meal was delicious. It was just enough food so that she was full but not overly full. I had a Western Omelette, Home Fries, Wheat Toast and a Dr. Pepper. Looking for a great local brunch spot? Look no further! I enjoyed the outside patio (a tad cold inside for me). The wait was not long at all even though the parking lot was packed. Our server Jermaine I believe was his name was very friendly and a good sense of humor. Now to the food... I ordered the chicken and waffles and very rarely order this. But when ai saw strawberry butter I had to try it. Please do also. You won't be disappointed. You can get a half chicken cut up or tenders. I went for the tenders. They took our drink orders and returned with drinks and took our order. We had the range from avocado toast to waffles. The food was delivered as ordered and delicious. The wait wasn't long at all, I ordered the loaded burger bowl, with a side of bacon and mac & cheese. The bacon was very brittle and a bit hard, just short of burnt. It just crumpled in your mouth. The mac and cheese was more on the creamy side, dont expect a baked mac and cheese. The loaded burger bowl wasn't bad, it was very filling. The staff are literally the most friendly people in Rutherford county. We started out with our beverages. Let me say that's the biggest cup of cranberry juice that I have gotten from a restaurant and least expensive. I ordered the Southwest Scramble Bowl. It is loaded avocado, black beans, corn, diced green and jalapeño peppers, onions, tomatoes, scrambled eggs served over hashbrown potatoes, drizzled with salsa and sour cream, and topped with green onions. Hubby had the Fried Chicken & Waffle Half a fried chicken and a Belgian waffle, topped with powdered sugar and sweet, strawberry butter. Served with our signature sweet and spicy sauce. We had about a 25 minute wait at around 11:00am on Saturday morning. The place was buzzing with people. So glad we waited, as the food was very good. I had the "Bissell" which is the traditional breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, grits, toast or biscuit and a short stack of pancakes. The pancakes were so fluffy and light and tasted amazing. My partner and I visited for the second time today and Halie was waiting on our table! This is the second time we've had the pleasure of sitting at one of her tables. I work third shift and often go out to breakfast with my partner and am not usually in the mood for typical breakfast food. We ordered the blueberry lemon waffle for an appetizer, and though I was hesitant at first- the flavor was remarkably light and just sweet enough to not leave a heavy sugary aftertaste. After that, I got my meatloaf, pictured below. Let me just say, when I think mom's meatloaf as a kid, this is what I think- cranked up to 11. What a great find during my time in town for work. I always try to support local diners versus chains. Great service, really good portions and prices -especially with the way things are currently (inflation). I visited 3 times this past week. Their imenu will basically have anything you would want ... from Sweet to Savory. For me, I stuck to the protein breakfast but did splurge for a half waffle. **Just know that they open at 8am. I think they miss a great opportunity, from hospital staff around the corner, by not opening at 7am (but it ain't my business-literally).
