Maybe a wider "bun or biscuit " to handle the food. It tasted great from the small amount I tried. I again,don't want to be presumptuous...this is just my opinion. First time eating at a First Watch. We arrived about 12 noon and they were still almost full. Our server must have been pretty busy because we waited about 15 minutes for her to come take our order. Thankfully, they leave a coffee pot on the table so we had plenty of coffee while we waited. I ordered the Chile Chorizo omelette. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good. The chorizo looked pre-cooked and was very dry without much flavor. The diced chilies on top were the primary flavor. The omelette itself was dry and a little overcooked. We ordered a couple of pancakes on the side (lemon ricotta and banana granola) and they were just okay as well. After we were done eating, our server didn't come back to our table. Cute place use to be another breakfast place. So many great options on the menu both healthy and hearty. I got the breakfast tacos and they were awesome. Lots of flavor and tortillas were nice and soft. Waffles were fluffy and syrup came warm. Came in on an early Saturday and there was no wait our server was great we didn't have much for him to attend to. Food was good prices weren't too bad either. I want to start this out by saying, I am only leaving this review because I desire to be able to come here and enjoy good food and service. Let's start out by saying the food here that I get with my family is spectacular! The food is always enjoyable, doesn't take more than 25 minutes most times and the coffee is stellar! The hosting and cash stand staff are always welcoming to us. Now let's get into the negative. My favorite part of the experience in this location is from the cash stand to my car, and I'll tell you why. Every time I am at this location, I wait between 15-20 minutes for my server to acknowledge me, though she walks and gabs around my wife and I the entire time. The entire time we are waiting for the server to come, the manager with short black hair and arm tattoos talks to the table behind us, making eye contact with me, noticing we havent been greeted and does nothing about it, even a water while we are waiting would be satisfactory, or even a smile. When the server finally comes to acknowledge us, ( Don't miss, I am using the word ACKNOWLEDGE, I am not saying I need my order to be taken immediately. I just want to feel like my server, whom is responsible for my experience, knows I exist.) the server takes our order and brings our drinks. I typically ask for extra sugar and creamer with my coffee, and sometimes milk. Out of the dozen times I have been here I have only been given these items twice. Today I was never brought what we asked for, I just sat there with a rapidly cooling cup of coffee and no condiments for it. When our food arrives my wife asks for a water, me, still without any fixings for me coffee, we receive neither. So we sit with no beverages for the entirety of our meal. Our server never asks how the food is, or if we need anything. We seen our server 3 times through our 1h15m long experience. ( not including the wait, which I am fine to wait in), once to take our order, once to deliver it, and once to drop off the check. Now this experience was just today. Previously, I have had water spilled all over my sister and I, and not only did she not bring any napkins to help us dry off, she didn't even bring us another water as our beverage??? Another time I ordered coffee, was brought tea and I asked to replace it with coffee and she argued with me that it wasn't tea...??? I understand that coffee and tea in the restaurant industry come in similar looking packages and the same silver looking bag, mistakes are fine. But why argue with me? If you think I'm crazy just bring me another cup and fake it. Your servers make it very hard to justify tipping anything, and my wife and I tip upwards of 50% everywhere we go. I am just tired that these arrogant, selfish servers feel entitled to money after giving terrible service and just write "Happy holidays :)" on the bill. Someone please take charge around here. I will probably visit this restaurant a couple more times praying for an improvement before I take my money to the church street location. read more

First off, understand that I am not some ridiculous, over-demanding customer. I appreciate servers and all the hard work they do. I just expect good service and good quality food. I've been to multiple First Watch restaurants all over the country and know what food here is supposed to be like. I Ordered a blueberry pancake to split before our meal. My wife and I both ordered farmhouse hash bowls with poached eggs. After 20 minutes of waiting, our waitress, Bailey, brought out the pancake. It was cold, burnt, and dry. After TEN minutes, I waved her down to ask if we could get a hot fresh pancake. She apologized and said they would fix it. After another five minutes our bowls arrived. Our poached eggs were completely raw. It looks as if they cooked them for maybe a minute and a half or so. When we cut into them, they literally disintegrated, spilling raw egg white and yolk throughout the bowls. I have poached a lot of eggs myself and know what they are supposed to look like. These were not acceptable. Toast was also supposed to come with our bowls. There was no toast. After five minutes, she came back with another pancake. It was 100% better than the first. Delicious. After ten more minutes, another waitress came with our bowls. She also refilled our drinks since Bailey hadn't been by to check on us. It looked as if they had emptied our bowls and recooked everything. There were many burned pieces and one of the eggs was well done. After being there for nearly an hour and a half, we decided to finish our meal and leave as soon as we could. We won't be back. read more

Food took over 30 minutes to arrive, then our hash breakfast plate was dropped off and then taken away because it was for another table. When the food arrived the eggs on the hash plate were still cooked wrong. Biscuits were over cooked for the biscuits and gravy, the breakfast burrito was a good tasting plate. Came here for breakfast this morning and this place was packed even at 9 am on a Friday, which means they are doing something right. We got seated within 10 min of checking in by friendly staff and got a pot of coffee left at our table fof us to drink which was a plus. Then we order the biscuit and gravy meal and the elevated egg sandwich with a side of the million dollar bacon as our appetizer. Food came out quick and hot. The bacon was good, elevated sandwich had a ton of flavor and came with potatoes that were cooked perfectly. My husband's turkey gravy biscuit was good but the biscuit was just a tad dry but still alot of flavor. Our waitress even brought coffees to go for us which was awesome. We were 5 people coming in for breakfast , the reception good but we were sent to a bench table that can only fit 4 and we had to squeeze but then another server came in and move us to share in a big table that can fit 8 but occupied by one person, and that was fine by us. Then the order was made and it took over 15 minutes to come, but it was coming one plate at a time, and some times other tables were served while we wait for other plates, so in total it took over 7 minutes for an order of 5 plates to be served. We always enjoy this place for a weekend breakfast. I recommend getting there early. Murfreesboro gets crazy around 9:00am and you'll be waiting for a while. Their hours are 7am - 2:30pm...even on Sundays. They bring you a carafe of coffee...which I love! I can refill my own cup and never have to worry about running down the waitress. Go ahead and try the Millionaires Bacon. At least once! My favorite go-to meals are: Eggs Benedict Florentine, Elevated Egg Sandwich, and the Tri-Athlete. But we asked if we could change the order to go and they assured us that was fine. The farmhouse hash was soooo good and looked perfect! I wanted something fresh for breakfast while traveling that would be good to my stomach all day. We stopped in here after hearing about the awesome fresh juice at the hotel. This place did not disappoint. It feels similar to Wild Eggs. I tried the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. It almost had a bacon flavor. Hollandaise sauce was great and fresh enough the sauce did not separate. My daughter got the superfood bowl. The coconut flavor carries through with the fruit! I took a piece of her whole grain almond butter toast. My dad he the works omelet. He loved it. He loved how they sautéd the toppings first to marry the flavor. We ordered a couple FARMHOUSE HASH. Excellent! Add extra cheese on the top for a bonus. Add green chilis and it is almost perfect! HOLEY DONUTS were good enough. But not as good as the other food. Not bad, but not great. CHICKICHANGA was delicious! Loved the flavors and unique kind of breakfast. Like a differently shaped omelet. We also ordered a couple MILLION DOLLAR BACON orders. These were delicious. A little pricy at $5 for four pieces. But so good. We also got the COFFEE and KALE TONIC. The women loved the tonic. I... did not. lol. The coffee was good. I ordered the breakfast tacos, which if I'm being honest is not something I would normally go for, but so was pleasantly surprised. Fantastic wonderful delicious and nutritious! The food is stinkin perfect! I had the banana and granola pancakes and they were some of the best pancakes I've ever had. The syrup was warm, the butter had melted and it was marvelous! The service was also great! My friend had asked for a dish that normally had goat cheese in it to be without the cheese and had asked for her eggs over medium; but the eggs came back over easy and a slight sprinkle of goat cheese was in the dish. The waitress apologized profusely and took it back and the kitchen fixed it pretty quickly.
