Oh my! I was near Shelli's after a hair appt and wanted good coffee. I was not disappointed!!! I got their fall special, the Haystack, and it was so good. It's the classic fall latte we all want that doesn't taste fake! I also grabbed an egg,cheese, and bacon bagel. Holy crap. It was amazing!!!! Everyone there was so nice and helpful. Definitely wish I lived closer so I could go more often but I will for sure share with my Murfreesboro friends so they know to go! read more

One of the better coffe spots in Murfreesboro! I have been holding out on this place because I did not have high expectations but I was totally wrong. They have a stereotypical coffee feel to it, they want you to sit and enjoy your time there. They have board and card games to use at your leisure. I'm usually not this type of person but I like to grab my coffee and go but this is a nice touch. Coffee itself was very good as well and it seems like they do some seasonal options. We did not try and food or bakery items unfortunately. read more

I got a caramel latte and a chicky chicky parm parm sandwich from here. I came with my mom and we thought the sandwiches were decent. My coffee was good but not great, my mom really enjoyed her chai! The woman who took my order was very friendly and happy to answer my questions. We loved that there are lots of board games you can play and spent our time battling each other with bananagrams (don't worry, I won!). This would be a great place to come with friends, hang out, play some games, and enjoy a coffee drink. read more

I love this place! I wish it were bigger for the crowded days but it is so wonderful. I love that people are in there playing board games together and actually interacting with one another. Super cute coffee shop with delicious iced vanilla lattes which are a personal favorite of mine. I was promptly welcomed in by friendly staff, and my order including food was out rather quickly. They have various seating options from bar seating at the front windows to smaller group seating and one area in the back for a large group. This is the first coffee shop I have visited that provided an adorable little section just for the kiddos too. They also have boxed games to choose from should you like to partake in a game while you enjoy your tasty beverage. read more

Upon entry the vibe here is awesome! Love the little shopping section that promotes local businesses. My husband and I each ordered a mocha, keto/gluten-free chocolate chip cookie and a pesto sandwich. We were both pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was! I recently visited Shelli's for the first time with a friend and our 2 young children. I've never visited a coffee shop like this before and wasn't sure what to expect. The location is a bit out of the way for me to visit frequently, but we were already in the area so it worked out. The customer service was fantastic. The employees genuinely seemed happy we were there (a rarity these days!) and were helpful with the menu when I shared that I had never been there before. I ordered the parmesan chicken wrap and a cold brew. My daughter had a grilled cheese with chips and grapes. The grilled cheese was small but appropriate size for a toddler. If you have a child with a bigger appetite, I would consider ordering off the adult menu. My wrap was also smaller than I expected but packed a punch with tasty ingredients and left me surprisingly full. The cold brew was strong and delicious! I think the only downside is that the location is quite small, so if tight spaces stress you out, it may not be for you. I would definitely not plan on being able to bring a stroller or even infant seat comfortably inside. We happened to get lucky and there was a small open table for 2. Our kids had to sit in our laps when they werent in the little playroom. We are moms so we made it work. If you are needing a place that has guaranteed seating, I'm not sure this would be an ideal location for you. We would have had to leave and go elsewhere if we didn't get lucky with an open table. I did notice the seating area with a coffee table and couch were reserved so that may be an option for you, but I'm not sure if they reserve the smaller tables. I hope this place sticks around. It's a great concept. Maybe one day they will even expand into a larger space. Also- to whomever owns these large strip malls/shopping centers: please do your valued tenants a favor and spruce up the parking lots/landscaping/walkways. They deserve to be located in an inviting and well maintained area! read more

As a Murfreesboro native, I have been to most every coffee shop in town. At first, I thought Shelli's was just another uninspired suburbia special, however, I think that they have upgraded the usual formula in several ways. #1: The specialty drinks and syrups are actually handmade and much more balanced than usual speciality lattes. #2: The staff is actually very knowledgeable about coffee, and so if you want to taste the coffee they can recommend you the right drink which are all crafted at a high level (including their Caps). #3: Perhaps most importantly, they truly embody the "social" name and are constantly coming up with ideas to bring people together at the shop, from the readily accessibly board games, to trivia nights, to themed events. On this note, I also love that they are open late and provide a good spot to hang with friends and family. I think my biggest point of improvement would be the coffee options themselves. They use a roaster out of Nashville, and while I always prefer in house roasting, I think that the 3rd party model would be fine if they offered more/ wider range of coffees. I think they have intentions to offer this moving forward, but as we know, it's the latte drinkers that pay the bills, so I understand why they are focusing on this direction first. Anyway, I love Shelli's and will definitely be going back regularly! read more

My, oh my! My first time here and I had a latte with cinnamon flavored syrup. Loved the flavor! I don't remember what latte my wife had, but she loved hers as well.
