We were nearby after playing pickleball and decided to have breakfast. This was easily down the street. The ambiance was relaxed and not too busy on a holiday. We were seated a right away and service was good. The food was good and better than expected. Overall would recommend.

We had an awesome Sunday morning at First Watch! Definitely recommend joining the online waitlist--it saved us a ton of time, especially since it gets busy. While we waited, they offered complimentary coffee, which was surprisingly really good and a nice touch. I ordered the Million Dollar Bloody Mary, and it was bold, flavorful, and came with a delicious strip of bacon--no complaints there! The Morning Meditation juice might honestly be the best thing ever--super refreshing and the perfect balance of citrus and beet. For food, we tried the BEC Sandwich, Tri-Fecta, and SoCal Breakfast Hash. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and they have outdoor seating too, which is perfect when the weather is nice. Bonus points: you can pay right at your table, which makes things super easy. We'll definitely be back!

Our coffee served was warm at best. When mentioned, our server immediately brought us hot coffee. Our breakfast plates were mixed, as my plate was served with my husband's bacon and his plate was served with my sausage. My breakfast potatoes were overcooked to the point that half the potatoes were uneditable(see pictures). Potatoes were definitely reheated but the server assured us that they didn't do that there. I asked for eggs, over medium and received extra cooked eggs. One egg yolk was completely cooked through, the other slightly less cooked. The restaurant was clean and staffed appropriately. Our server was attentive to us and politely listened to our concerns. We were given a discount coupon.

Just tried brunch from their seasonal menu. The double hash was super tasty and the carne asada tacos are flavourful. The last time we were here (about a month ago) we had a sticky table issue and we were sad to note that the same issue still persists. Our waitress says it's just the furnishing and they're replacing it, which is probably true however our table had some obvious dirty spots and we never received a cloth to wipe it down despite asking for one.

Had the lemon ricotta pancakes. Have not had these since Covid! The recorta scoop was so delicious soft and creamy not tart just perfection. Lemon flavor was fresh and refreshing. It is a pretty big size might share it next time but it's too good to share. I ordered thru the app and it was ready on time and came with everything requested. Tastes as good as dinning inside. Staff was amazing as always and food was just right.

Egg Benedict with smoked salmon... so good! So much flavor in the potatoes!

This place was awesome! There was a 10 minute wait but it went fast... sat down and got coffee right away. I loved the decor and lighting and it was a nice open space. It was cool to be able to see the kitchen as well. I really loved the wholesome food- the ketchup didn't have high fructose corn syrup! The quality ingredients really make this place amazing and worth the stop! 10/10 will go again !

They serve Thrifty ice cream, which if you aren't familiar, it's delightful because it's thoughtfully made. It can be kind of hard to find outside of California so lucky Anthem, AZ now has a place for it. My daughter got the coconut pineapple and I got the Rocky Road. Both were delicious! I also got a chai drink and it was really smooth and flavorful. I did feel bad when we got there because had a really large group and it was really just one employee working, but she got everyone taken care of as fast as she could. Also, the bathroom in the back, under what looks like an entrance to a mine. We weren't sure and were going to go back to the escape room to go but ventured back and discovered it there.

Ironically it's only been open about a month from what I can tell. First impression unfortunately was it was very hard to see the actual storefront a there's no real signage in front or near the street to catch your eye. I obviously knew hat I a looking for with the address, but for a passer by this would definitely be a miss. The parking lot is fairly small and shared with other businesses. I'd definitely recommend some signs or flags of some sort to draw in the local traffic. Once inside the location is small. There is a small seating area, but it a full today. No biggie as I needed to get back to my side of town soon. I was greeted fairly soon by the lone worker who seemed a bit overwhelmed with door dash orders and the walk in traffic. He did his best to be quick and let me know there was one order in front of me. This gave me time to look over the menu. It very simple, not very large and does not include cold brew as an option or a huge fancy latte choice. They offer energy drinks, some tea and milk shake etc. no pod besides a few Pastries . If you are a lover of Thrifty ice cream they have many great options for scoops, specialty milkshakes and such. I wish I couldn't tried some today, but I thought I'd be pushing it since I ordered two drinks. This is something I like to do when I go somewhere new to get feel for the drinks. Today I went for a basic vanilla latte iced and a caramel macchiato. Prices were good. The employee was too busy to really chat and I didn't get a chance to ask what beans they used nor did I se any. I thought I saw somewhere they import them, but again I don't know from where. My drinks were mad pretty quick. The vanilla latte taste great and I enjoyed it. The caramel macchiato I was on the fence for a couple reasons. One of those being presentation. It did not look anything like macchiato, lacked caramel from what I could tell and what I could see was more outside the cup than in. The flavor was still pretty good and I could taste the coffee pretty well. I think I'll give it some more time before coming to order coffee again. Id say the ice cream is definitely the popular items. I love that they are giving the scooping ice cream vibe for families to enjoy. It's one of my favorite memories a a kid going into the actual Thrifty Store (yes it existed like a Walgreens) and getting scoops after school with my dad when he could get off a little early. I'd say it's a solid 3/4 stars now while it gets the kinks out. Definite potential. Support local and help the place get on the map.

The first time I stopped in for a glass of wine just to check it out -- they were about to close, but the staff was so kind and welcoming. Fresh, satisfying, and exactly what I needed after being out on the trails. Prices are very reasonable too. The vibe here is what makes it special. It's busy but relaxed, cozy but open, and you order at the counter which keeps everything easy and casual. I ordered my go-to drink, an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder as well as a breakfast burrito. The drink came out a few minutes later, but the burrito took a while. I think I was in there for about 15 minutes or longer. Not sure if this is standard wait time for their food items or if they were overwhelmed as I only saw two gentlemen working. And I was kind of in a rush, so it made me more aware of how long it was taking. I enjoyed my latte and burrito which came with a nice dipping sauce. With specialty lattes starting at $6.50 for a large and a decent-sized breakfast burrito for $9.50, I felt the prices were reasonable.
