12/19/25 I ordered the Friday special 8 inch steak sandwich .this was the only thing I ate all day and at 10 o'clock I woke up running to the bathroom . I got food poisoning ! have eaten here several times but this is the first time I ordered a hot sandwich . When they heated up the meal they had to go behind a wall to access the microwave to heat the meat up . I don't know where they got the meat from I also didn't get to see them prepare my meal . I would give zero stars on this mess. This location deliberately installed a metal housing mechanism for their produce options, (so you can't see what they are putting on your sandwich). If you ask for tomatoes on a large sub, they will put two puny slices. (Not layered like it should be). The meat slices are almost transparent. They charge way too much! The employees are rude and unhelpful. I asked for a salt packet, this rude employee said they didn't have salt??? Umm, I don't think so! Awful, terribly overpriced for what you are getting! Stop trying to hide that you are cheap and won't slice the proper amount of tomato slices!! They just dump a ton of lettuce on and hope you don't notice!! Disgusting! So someone told me that the big deal with this sub shop was that the deli meat tasted fresher than other places. Well, I really didn't tell that there was much difference between what I got which was a combo sub and what I would get it say Jersey Mike's or Jimmy John's any other sub place. What kind of shocked me was the price. I paid $18 bucks for a large sub with dry crumbly wheat bread and it was really kind of dry. They have some different side orders like pasta for example but that's really no big deal. Didn't expect much from this place, was just craving a veggie sub and not wanting to drive super far, plus I had a DoorDash coupon so I used it for pickup! I got a veggie sub on the garlic bread and added green pepper, jalapeños, provolone, and spicy ranch. Usually I prefer crispy bread for a sub, like a Dutch roll, but this soft bread was actually perfect on this sandwich. It did get soggy and fall apart very easily but it was still good! I was asked if I was there to pick up and said no I was just going to order. The girl behind the counter asked if it was just one? Sounds like we're moving ahead but when I told her two she had to go to the back to ask it seems. She came back saying they were backed up so they broke down early. I said I'd be happy to assemble myself if they would wrap up the bread and meat and condiments. As we're at the hospital, our child just had surgery and their kitchen had closed. So 1 sandwich; seems to be acceptable. After talking to Iris in back after finding out I wanted 2 sandwiches now the slicer is suddenly broken down and being washed. It's a sandwich place that should be open until 8:00; but you're washing the slicer and the door's not locked. I do understand how staff can clean up and do a pre close but this is not that. Does the owner appreciate you refusing to sell me their product during business hours? She wouldn't come from behind the wall to address me as a customer herself. But she repeated this phrase about me coming in twice so that I could hear. The first time after the girl at the counter went back to talk to her and the second Ignored the girl who called her and was close enough by that I could her that response after she was called to the front but did not show. This is the type of way you can expect to be spoken about when you come to order food apparently. I can't review the food, they refused to serve me during business hours. The service was some of the worst I've ever experienced which warrants a review. It's disappointing as we really love these subs and though my drive was only 20 mins from the hospital I normally drive an hour 1 way for these amazing subs. I had nothing but good to say in my last 5 star review, but the staff and the way they carry their self and the face they represent for the business means the difference in repeat business and reccomendations. read more

First time here, I was in the neighborhood and noticed it. I ordered a large sandwich to go and he individually wrapped each half which was cool so I could actually easily save half for later. I noticed as he was slicing the meat that looked much thicker than the usual paper thin I'm used to at Subway. Has been my favorite sub shop since I was a kid. Much more fresh than other big chain shops. I love that they slice the meat on the spot instead of beforehand. Their broccoli cheese soup is also my favorite. And their huge chocolate chip cookies are always super soft. Yum. read more

5 stars for the bread alone, it never disappoints! So light and soft and not too filling. I always get the oven roasted chicken sandwich and the chicken is always fresh and great quality. Love their standard dress, minus the vinegar and oil, the oregano is a great touch. Cookies are also so yummy! Kept seeing Goodcents on Facebook and finally tried them last week. When I asked my husband where he wanted to grab dinner this Saturday, he said he wanted the chipotle cheese steak again. So back to Goodcents again. The bread is amazing! Definitely the best of any sandwich shop we've tried in the valley. Bread can make or break a sandwich, am I right? Obviously my husband loves the cheese steak. He let me steal a bite last week and I can see why. I think I'll have to get that next time. I've tried the roast beef and the chicken bacon ranch. Both really good, but there's something about that cheese steak, and I'm not usually a cheese steak person. Last week when we went, they were fairly busy, so the employees were just working, working, working. Nothing wrong with that. This week, I ordered ahead, and when I went to pick it up, not a customer in sight, so I got to chat with the two girls who were working. They were in the process of making my order and we talked about how busy they had been earlier in the day. I enjoyed talking with them for a few minutes. They were friendly and personable and not complaining at all about how busy they had been, but just stating it matter-of-factly. The service is painfully slow every time, and you can say exactly how you would like things but they can only handle one task at a time. Mr. Goodcents is a great alternative to Subway. They have more ingredient options and a few locations around the valley. I ordered the Italian sub with Capicola, Pepperoni, and Salami. They have Asiago bread so I got it on that. The vegetables are very fresh and the sandwich was great. For the $5 footlong lovers they have 8 subs on that menu and if you want a different one it's only .49 extra. They also have many sub size even 8 inch so if 6 is too small but 12 is too large have an option. If you've never been check it out you won't be disappointed. read more

We have been going here for years now and after yesterday we think it is time for a break. Not sure if the place has changed hands but, it has definitely gone south. It's a tale of two shifts really. Seems like there has been some turnover and the night shift has the most struggles. Yes they do try but, they are just not trained properly for a dinner rush. Yesterday, I stop in at 530, first in line, to stand there as the ONE employee (one guy for dinner rush) slowly works to complete two pickup orders. Ten minutes pass, line beginning to form behind me and still waiting for service. Another employee in back on their cell. Yes, I got apology but, hey , I'm here in line - pickup is not, take my order or call for help from other guy, nothing. Customer enters for the pickup order and finally employee in back appears to finish one order. Now 15+ minutes in, my first sandwich order is taken - a hot buffalo chix sub - he disappears to do the single sandwich, line behind me is now 5 customers deep. Another pickup order hops line to grab their sandwiches which, I know but they don't - have been sitting open on a prep table waiting to be dressed for 20 minutes now, bread has to be stale. Finally, my first sandwich is done and wrapped. I have three more to order. Another female employee arrives from a delivery return, then promptly leaves these two guys to drown. Sandwiches 2,3, & 4 - slowly made - finally - 40 minutes later, with a line of 6-7 customers behind me, I get to register. Employee struggles to ring up $4 sandwiches - unsure of which discount button to press. I'm done but, the line looks to be an angry mob now. As I walk out the female manager/employee finally returns to help and I overhear her trying to calm a situation which has now gone sideways. If she is in charge - she dropped the ball big time leaving these guys alone when they were not ready, especially during a dinner rush. Finally home - sandwiches: Meat was plentiful, toppings as well but, the bread was terrible. We all got pepper garlic and the bottom was either under cooked or crust was cut off and it was bland - no flavor - I see all the pepper n garlic but taste nothing? Strange! This has been a pattern of poor/slow service recently that began a while back. Plus, the reward program has completely changed. Punch cards are gone, now you give a phone number but, I have no idea how close I am to a free sub or anything for that matter.
