We have visited many First Watch locations throughout the southeast. We have always enjoyed our visits because the food is always good. The service is always good, and staff have always been friendly and caring. All the locations we visited were fairly new and nice and clean. Sometimes it can get loud in certain locations, but that was never a real issue. Today, I had the seasonal special of the "Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash". WOW! It was impressive. Everything was perfectly seasoned, well-cooked, and plated beautifully. I also had the "French Toast". It was sweet but enjoyable. We were greeted and sat right away was about 10am on Monday the 8th of June. The waitress came over asked if we been in before explained we ate at them in another state then asked if we wanted coffee. The waitress came back a couple minutes later took our order. Food came out we had ordered the Chickichanga & The Works Omelet. Both dishes were amazing and tasty. Next time would ask for some salsa but great dishes. The only issue was once the food was served we never saw our waitress except across the room, didn't check to make sure everything okay or needed anything and finally when we were done 10 minutes flagged someone down to get our check that was very disappointing. Typically, we enjoy going to First Watch at various locations from time to time. They always have a modern look to them and are decorated nicely. This one In Prattville is no different in that regard. Service when we went was a little lacking though but it was quite busy. My biggest issue was the cleaning standards of the cutlery and glasses. The water carafes were incredibly spotty. The silverware was the same. But what got me was the lipstick on my wife's water glass. It all speaks volumes as to their cleaning standards. I get the hard water issue in Prattville but I don't see that issue with other restaurants. As for the food, my wife enjoyed her biscuits and graveyard. My frittata was pretty good but nothing special. read more

Second trip and this time was way different. A 35 mins wait on a Saturday is to be expected so worries there. After we were seated our waiter who seemed to not care what is going on took our drink order and by the way we are out of bacon. Bring friendly is free and this was not going well from the start. Walmart sells bacon. This is a breakfast spot right? Being out of bacon is like being out of water.....it shouldn't happen. Anyway this breakfast was overall good. Service is lacking and the sweet tea could use a lot more sugar. You can ask for half and half sweet tea but you can't add sugar to already cold tea. Anyone in the south knows this. It's a big place that can support a lot of people. Prattville needed a place like this. I think this is going to be an overall good place as they work out the kinks. read more

Been here once for breakfast and once for lunch. Breakfast was very good. Come hungry. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were delicious. For lunch I had the smoked ham and gruyere sandwich. Simple sandwich. Ham, cheese and tomato. Less is more and this sandwich was great. Light. On toast challah bread. read more

Had breakfast with my granddaughter and enjoyed everything! My favorite item is the ricotta pancakes with lemon curd! I tried the grits and was pleasantly surprised how good they tasted. We tried one of their fancy juices and was not impressed especially for $5! Service was good. read more

Since First Watch came to Prattville it has become me and my husband's favorite spot! Had the Strawberry French Toast and the Steak and Eggs Hash this morning on the seasonal menu and would love for them to keep both of those items on the menu! Customer service is always spot on! read more

Food is awesome, staff is great both times I went. The only problem is seating is so close together you feel like you are in someone else's business at the next table. If I go with someone that is who I want to talk to, not to everyone around me and it is not their fault because everyone is right up on each other. Create some space between people not everyone is comfortable being up on someone else or hearing their conversation. This is for some of my family a deal breaker on going to this restaurant and it's a shame because the food and service is good. read more

They took long bring out our food. Two couples came in after us and received their food before us. We were charged twice for our drinks the waitress did adjust our bill. When we got our check we were charged twice for our drinks. I will say the food we ordered was ok, the service was not. I did speak to the Manger on the way out about what happed. I have visited 2 x last week. They can't seem to get the food right. The server pays attention the kitchen does whatever they want. The kitchen just doesn't seem to care. Just yesterday I sent the toast back 3 times. What a joke! This is what happens when corporations coddle small towns Commis de Rang. It just toast. Basic failure.
