Last minute place to eat stop. I like this chain restaurant. The food is usually pretty good. The complimentary rolls and butter are to die for. With standard entrees across the chain, it's their service and mixed drinks that can set them apart from the rest. On this visit, I sat at the bar to dine The service and food were pretty standard and there was nothing to complain or compliment about. I had their Portobello Mushroom Chicken on this visit along with a beer. Like a lot other locations, this place was busy. There's plenty of parking all around the building. About 6 months ago, I visited the Texas Roadhouse in Prattville, AL. Had a horrible experience all around. So bad, I took the time and left a review. This evening I decided to give it another try. I have been to numerous Texas Roadhouses around the south and they have always been good. I went in and got seated right away. Moments later the waitress came and took my drink order. She was very nice by the way. She came back with my drink and I ordered the rattlesnake bites as an appetizer and the country fried sirloin with a loaded baked potato and salad. I unrolled my silverware and the linen had food stains from a previous customer. Before I could even mention that, an expediter came with my country fried sirloin and baked potato, no appetizer, no salad. The country fried sirloin complete crust was detached from the sirloin. The waitress came with my appetizer about 5 minutes later. At that point I didn't want the appetizer and asked her where my salad was. The manager came over and saw the sirloin and took it back to be redone. I got my salad a few minutes later, ate it then ate my baked potato. About 5 minutes later my sirloin came back, crust falling off just like the first. By that time I just wanted to get gone from there. I ate the sirloin without the crust as you can see in the picture, paid and left. The waitress and manager were both very nice, but the way the place operates is highly questionable. First impressions are everything. The restaurant was busy but absolutely unclean and unkept. We had a chewed up hamburger bun, used napkins, and two forks under our table. Even the main walkways were littered with trash. There was definitely no use of a broom. My silverware had crusted up food on it. The waitress brought me another set, which also contained crusted up silverware. No complaints on the service. Our waitress was great and attentive. I always round up but Texas Roadhouse was more like 3-1/2 stars. It's a new restaurant and is decorated like any other Texas Roadhouse. The parking lot was packed but our party of four was seated as we checked in. The server was quick with our drinks and bread with their signature cinnamon butter. My prime rib was cooked just the way I like it and they even had some horseradish sauce for me but I never got the fresh horseradish I asked about. The prime rib tasted good for the most part but it was just mediocre quality beef. Not bad though. Definitely wasn't disappointed and was happy with the meal though. read more

Oh I wish I remembered the name of our waitress. She was absolutely spectacular. There were 8 of us on a golf trip, but the restaurant needed to break us up into 2 groups of 4. We were fortunate to have great service. I had the chicken and ribs combo. Texas Roadhouse is probably the best run fast casual restaurant in the country. They seat you quickly, provide very consistent and plentiful meals. They also get you out of there within 90 minutes. Their fresh baked bread is addictive. We visited the new Texas Roadhouse in Prattville Alabama recently. The restaurant opens at 11 am on Saturday and Sunday and 3 pm Monday through Friday. We arrived just at 11 am on a Saturday and were immediately seated. Our server was named Luke, and he was very pleasant to speak with and very knowledgeable of all menu items. We ordered the 6oz. Sirloin Steak and the Bacon Cheeseburger. The steak and cheeseburger were cooked and seasoned perfectly. About 15 minutes after being seated, the restaurant quickly began filling up to the point of having a waiting line to be seated. The restaurant is a good size. It didn't take long for our order to arrive along with the yeast rolls and cinnamon butter to go on the rolls. Luke stopped by often for drink refills and checking on us. On Monday through Thursday, beginning at 3 pm till 6 pm, they offer an early dine menu that as you can see on the photos I've included with my review, a nice verity of opinions for this special. The restaurant, being new, was very nice and clean. This is one of three steak houses in the immediate area. Each of which has its own specialty from finer dinning to casual experience. We will shortly see. No good so far. We had a party of 8 and I download the app. To check in early but anything over 6 people you have to call in. So after I called and they said I had to talk to another person I was put on hold for over 10 mins with no response. After getting here shortly after I was told... well sorry then they put us on the waiting list for another 30-40 mins and this was from the manager. Finally got into the restaurant. My son and I went to the bathroom to wash our hands. On exit we heard the birthday song along with saddle up as load as possible. It literally startled me to the point I run into a lady with two margaritas and almost dropped them. One person in our group had to leave because they were yelling so much. This is not looking good. Food time. I ordered the fillet and ribs with house sales and baked potato. The ribs were spot on. Fall off the bone done but I like it like that. Potato was done perfectly with butter and sour cream. The steak was overcooked and rubbery. They are remaking it so we will see. After 15 more minutes it came out rare so they had to do it again. 3rd times a charm. It was really good. Service from Jasmine was slow. We had to ask for everything. We waved her down 4 times. She would not look up to see. Other waiters had to tap her to get her attention. I really hope this place turns around. Veterans beware this place is super loud in here. They yell out of no where. Of course, the bread rolls and butter were to die for! I ordered a salad, fried pickles, rattlesnake bites, and chicken tenders. I would say the food is average at best. Texas Roadhouse is a chain restaurant. Expect chain. The ambiance was busy for the lunch rush. Although seated quickly, the service was so slow. Our server also forgot our utensils and add ons twice. I just felt so sluggish after all that food. This was my first and last time dining with Texas Roadhouse, with the exception of those gosh darn rolls! read more

Everything was timely, and the manager even stopped by our table to say hello, which we appreciated. That personal touch made it feel like they actually cared about our dining experience. And while the pork chops were a bit pink in the center, I let Haylen know and she immediately offered to put them back on the grill. This visit to Texas Roadhouse wasn't good at all. 1st I asked for a table and was seated at a booth. We moved to an open table next to the booth. Service- asked 3 times for sweet and low. We ordered a blooming onion for the appetizer we also ordered salads and 16oz prime rib. Onion came out fairly fast but 2 minutes later salads came out. I had one bite of the onion and our prime ribs came out. Unbelievable. The supervisor was standing near us when I was asking the server why the entrees were here already. Server was clueless. The food was good but the noise in this restaurant was ridiculous. I think we witnessed 6 very loud happy birthday celebrations with hand clapping and singing from the waitstaff in no less than 25 minutes. Do not go this restaurant if you want to sit and enjoy your meal and have a pleasant conversation with your dinner partner. Friday, Nov 15 @ 4pm Prattville, Visited your location last night for dinner with my two sons and my two grandsons and have to say what a terrible and painful experience. First let me say I'm an original Texas resident so I know what a good steakhouse is and this one is not. The pros : Gabby, our server was exceptional. 5 Star. You will not find a better server out there. She is a rock star and the only reason you got any stars. And the Caesar salads were the best thing we ate all night. Cons: we placed our appetizer orders (2), the sampler came out great and the onion blossom was a no-show. We then placed our dinner order for five people, my youngest grandson is only into mac & cheese and fries so he was happy to see that there was something on the menu that he enjoyed. I ordered a New York strip, and your steamed fresh vegetables. Two people ordered the macaroni and cheese when it came out it was not edible. There were simply no cheese, when an eight-year-old tells you that there's no cheese in his macaroni and cheese and he can't eat it. All you can do is laugh at first, until you try it and it's a dust bowl of cold dried noodles. The kid only wanted one simple thing, macaroni and cheese and you screwed it up. Shame on you. Kraft out of the box is better than what you sell there. Neither person touch the macaroni and cheese, which you have as an up charge to get it! You show no passion or care in the preparation of your food. Apparently, there is no quality control and no Chefs actually taste what they make. I like the fact that one of your managers walked around and ask everybody how they're doing before the food comes out, but he is totally absent after you get your food. We asked to speak to a manager and no one ever showed up. Second, I ordered a New York strip and steamed vegetables. For your education, a New York strip has minimal fat but definitely no gristle. Mine had a thick piece of gristle that ran through the entire piece topped the bottom and had a endcap of solid gristle at least 3/4 of an inch thick that my knife would not even cut through. The vegetables were cold and uncooked. I mean hard a a rock and unable to eat. Let's talk about the steaks again, three of us ordered steaks and good thing you give us strong knives cause these things were tough as shoe leather. Again, do you have any pride in the work you do? Why doesn't your Head Chef check the orders before they go out? Lastly, I don't know what you did to our food, but you made every single one of us sick. Two of us had to run to the restroom twice during dinner. The other two had the worst nights of life feeling like they were food poisoned and spent over 45 minutes, emptying their bowels in excruciating pain. I don't know why or how you can screw up a steak and vegetables, not to mention macaroni and cheese. My family was excited to come there tonight as it was our first time there and one person showed up an hour early with another showing up 30 minutes early to make sure they can get a table. This was our first visit and our last visit at the same time. When your guy sat us right by the bathroom, I thought the seats were terrible, only later did I understand that he saw the future and kept us close to the toilet because he knew we would need them. Shame on your for ruining a special occasion dinner. You charged us $150 to give us unedible food and beef that was of questionable quality. You made us deadly ill. You should probably talk to your entire staff in the kitchen and make them taste their food before they spring it on unsuspecting guest. read more

This was an excellent Texas Roadhouse location. Definitely our new favorite. Our party of 6 joined the waitlist via the website on the drive over, arrived and our table was ready and waiting for us. Immediately received delicious, fresh rolls. Our waitress was amazing- checked on us often, kept our drinks filled, we never had to wait for anything, and she was so friendly with the kids. Our meal was amazing, the atmosphere was great- I've been to other locations that were just obnoxiously loud and not pleasant but this one was fabulous even when fully seated. Can't wait to go back! They were very busy on Christmas Eve but the girl up front was doing an excellent job with greeting and seating. Did not catch her name but this was around 5:45pm. She was so friendly with everyone. The food was mediocre but I will reserve final judgement until next visit. It is so loud in there and no one enjoys it when they stop and dance. It is embarrassing for all involved. The restaurant was packed when we got there about 5pm but we were seated quickly. We both ordered the Dallas filet. When they came out they were not cooked to our liking so we sent them back and they came back perfect. We really enjoyed our steaks and loaded potatoes and salads. The service manager that brought our steaks back out was very nice and offered us more sides to go with our steaks and was very apologetic about our steaks having to be sent back. If you consider how many steaks they were making I think having to cook two steaks a little longer is not a big deal. Okay first I will start with the good , It was a wait but we got in there pretty fast we did call ahead. The host got us some bread took us to our table asked me, and my family how our day was started off great. Then We got to our table and had a server named ray or rae something like that and she was horrible !! She greeted us and got us drinks, but you could tell she had a stank attitude. And if they don't get that in check they will be just like the Montgomery store. Other than that it's pretty loud in there and I liked the line dancing that was nice to watch. I would say though that I would have went to Logans If I would've known my service was going to be what it was. Her whole mood made me and my family uncomfortable personally but everyone experience is different. Prior to posting here I tried to do the right thing and talk to the on duty manager, but that yielded zero results. Today my son wanted to get his birthday dinner from Texas roadhouse in Prattville. They are very busy and doing the best they can, but there are some things that I cannot overlook. Three of the five orders came out wrong, but two of them were easily rectified. The third was a barbecue burger that came out as a cheeseburger. My son took one bite and noticed that it was wrong. We notified the waitress it was taken back to the kitchen, and when it returned the remade the burger EXCEPT They reuse the hamburger patty. I paid the bill plus left a tip for the waitress on the way out. I talk to the on duty manager explained I was not looking for anything but wanted to let him know what happened ,emphasizing the burger and asked the question is that normal? Where he replied no the entire thing should've been remade. I let him know it wasn't but either he wasn't getting it or didn't care . Our dinner last night was a huge disappointment. We are Texas Roadhouse lovers. After we ordered our meal we waited and waited and waited. I asked our server and she says we're slammed! As I looked around it was not as busy as most of the TR we have eaten at. Our salad last night was pathetic and half the size that it is at any other TR. We waited 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive and it was not correct. My prime rib was cold. He ordered a medium 8 ounce steak with no seasoning. He got an 8 ounce steak well done with seasoning. We've waited another 30 minutes for the steak However, the replacement steak was excellent although by then we had been waiting an hour. The wait staff was excellent and very busy.
