The folks at Renze gave us a better price for more rental time, gave us food and water to help console our awful experience with their competitor, and offered to come in on a closed day (memorial day sunday) to rent to us. They actually cared. The machine it's self was amazing. Brand new 2024 RZR 1000. They were reachable via text after hours and on when the store was closed. The store it's self was huge, clean and packed to the roof with anything you could need. Their rental process was more involved and informed than their competitor and included a card for a good tow company, directions on where NOT to go and gave us a full rundown of all the features our toy (atv). I felt better about leaving from this place than I did the place before. My wife and I drove home at the end of the weekend in agreement that whenever we purchase our own machine, we will be driving 8 hours north to the UP to give them our business.

I have been trying to get 2 new tires installed on the vehicle since June 2025. It has been more than an ordeal with the parts department. After camping out at the parts desk a week ago, we found available tires and bushings. They require pre payment before ordering. I paid their invoice by credit card. ($804.74) and requested the invoice be sent to me by US mail as their staff was busy that day. When I got the invoice there was an additional $58.41 which included a miscellaneous shop supplies fee. I disputed it and was told they would have to get back to me. Eventually they told me it was for paper towels, hand soap, and latex gloves, etc. Beware! Up charging seems to be their standard practice. Look at all bills closely. Don't be surprised if a paid bill is followed by an addendum to the price. I advise: Stay clear!!!

Rented a side by side or UTV(whatever you like to call it) this weekend at Island Adventure. We…read moretook the ferry over to Washington Island to check out all things on the island. We figured, let's do it in style! It was just us 2. We had a blast. No off roading of course and it only goes to 30 mph but what a cool way to check out Washington Island. We ended up with a four seater. We arrived early to our 11 AM reservation and they were kind enough to have us out 15 min early for our 2 hour rental! Sweet! They provided a map for a suggested route and we decided to follow it for the most part. All the roads are so rustic during October so you really can't go wrong and if you get lost, good thing is the island is only 36 square miles in diameter! You won't be lost for long. The customer service was friendly, informative and gave out great recommendations. They were prompt and our ride was clean/well maintained! I would use them again for sure if I come back to the island. Once you get off ferry, it straight ahead on the left- very easy to find. You could even walk there from the ferry if you aren't bringing your own vehicle on the island. They have a phone number to call and reserve your choice of "adventure" or they have a website.

It was the most chaotic, stressful, dangerous thing we've done as a group. Do not do a rafting trip if you think you're going to have any time to enjoy the scenery, talk, or enjoy a family activity. The river was extra fast due to high water levels and there are constant obstacles to avoid. We are all lucky to have made it with only minor injuries. Way too many close calls. It was not just us that were not enjoying our time on the river. Every kayaker and tuber we encountered felt exactly the same way. Several said they'd been crying at times, it was so chaotic.
