Free entry. I did not mind spending money since everything was a fund raising for the schools or other causes.

Parking lot was accessed by gate 10,and typical of the fairgrounds, Parking is seemingly always $15 for any event for the past few years. Some parking close to the entrance was available. This is in addition to the fees for the event you're attending. Id strongly recommend car pooling if possible. It's worth noting that the ground was recently slurry sealed so dark black which was fairly hot on an 80 degree day. Be prepared for quite a bit of walking, the fairgrounds are quite spread out so it can be something of a hike to get from one area to another. Japan fest was nice, lots of Asian food offerings leaning toward Japanese cuisine however there were Korean Vietnamese, and Chinese food available as well. Quite a few anime booths, clothing stands, toys, and knick knacks. Most of the festival was outdoors but there were 2 air conditioned buildings with booths that offered some respite from the sun and heat. The restroom facilities are actual permanent buildings, not port o potties which is great. Flush toilets and regular sinks for hand washing is a fantastic improvement over port a potties in my opinion. I'll be back.

We love the lay out and how they really make monumental efforts to keep the grounds & buildings neat & tidy! We loved seeing all the displays/exhibits/shows and indulging in less-than-healthy food. There were many sights & food vendors. I met with the friendly staff/faculty of the UCCE Orange County Master Gardeners and they gave me brochures & a plethora of information for my own upcoming garden. They advised since I live in Temecula that UCR would be closer & have a similar program. I love hummingbirds & captured one in a photo. We were able to catch an old favorite, master hypnotist, Mark Yuzuik. We used to see him quite regularly at the SD County Fair but sadly his performances became lackluster over time. We were overjoyed that he presented a hilarious & revamped show, which was truly entertaining! Of course, we needed to leave with a bag of kettle corn & a bucket of chocolate chip cookies from Mom's Bakeshoppe. This was a day well spent together!

The venue is roomy, clean and safe. There's a bar/ restaurant area you can order food and plenty of space with couches to watch racers. Staff is friendly and service is great! The teens opted for 3 races at $70/racer. They also had a package where you can get a K1 tshirt & 2 races at $70/racer. Great team building event space for employers & adults too! Definitely coming back!

When you walk in, it's a little confusing at first since it's not super clear where to go and the place is pretty spacious. We initially went to the cashier, and they directed us to the computers on the side to sign the waivers first, then come back to pay. After we paid, they told us the wait would be about 30 minutes, but surprisingly they called our names within just 2 to 3 minutes while we were still walking around. That was a nice bonus. :) They provided headsocks for free, and we didn't have to pay extra or sign up for any annual membership. Each race is supposed to be 12 laps, but if someone finishes early, you might end up doing less. One of the boys completed 11 laps, but didn't affect the experience at all. As we were exiting, we saw a podium area so kids hopped on for a quick photo. I've been here before for birthday parties and even with coworkers, and every time has been consistently fun. The staff was friendly and everything ran smoothly. Not really sure why this place gets some negative reviews. I haven't experienced anything negative. Would definitely come back.

They spent the day with Ariel and her mermaid friend, who were both incredible with the girls and made the experience feel truly magical. The girls received beautiful mermaid makeovers, enjoyed lunch together, and had so much fun taking photos in the sand. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the characters stayed completely in character, making the experience unforgettable for the kids. Seeing the smiles on their faces all day was priceless. If you have a little one who loves mermaids, I cannot recommend Mermaid Academy enough. It was a day filled with imagination, fun, and memories we'll cherish forever. Thank you for creating such a special experience!

The makeover consisted of a small amount of eyeshadow, a few face gems, and photos taken with a low-quality photo booth setup that were sent to our phones. As parents, we're happy to pay for experiences that bring our children joy, so the cost itself wasn't the issue. My main concern is with the hair application. The extension braids were attached improperly on both of my daughters using a single bead attached to a very small section of hair. This created significant tension from the weight of the braid and resulted in visible bald spots on both children afterward. Children's hair is much more delicate than adult hair, and techniques that place excessive tension on the scalp should be avoided. There are safer methods for attaching braids to children's hair, such as incorporating more hair into the attachment or braiding the extension into the natural hair rather than suspending the entire weight from a tiny section. I believe this demonstrates a lack of proper training and care when working with children's hair. Parents should be aware of the potential risk of hair damage before booking this experience. While my daughters enjoyed the mermaid theme, I was extremely disappointed to see damage to their hair as a result.

While it may not be somewhere we'd go or come.. for a vacation, it's definitely worth visiting for a day. The only negative experience we had involved an employee named Stephanie who was working the family raft slide. She came across as though she genuinely didn't want to be there. It didn't ruin our visit by any means, but when you're in a family-focused environment, a friendly attitude goes a long way. Also, during one of our turns on the family slide, the wait was noticeably longer than it should have been compared to all of our previous rides, which slowed things down a bit. Definitely a bit miss managed as it seems as 1-2 employees max were bouncing back and forward to push the rafts down. Something that popped into mind free of charge lol. One suggestion for the marketing team: consider giving away complimentary waterproof phone pouches. They cost only a few dollars at retail store ( Walmart ) so I'd imagine they could be purchased in bulk at a much lower cost. Guests would use them throughout the park, and many would likely take pictures and post all over there social media as I saw almost every partner with one,I know I did and will posting family pic and already have all the family said they'd want to come..giving Great Wolf Lodge free advertising and great brand exposure every time they're used elsewhere. It seems like a small investment that could create a lasting impression. Overall, a solid 4-star experience. We'd come back again.
