Good selection of fish. Always happy to browse your shop. Bought several guppies and corries. And I hope they will do well in my aquarium.

Even at midday Tuesday, the lot was filled with folks selecting from the annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants from the numerous greenhouses on the campus. There is a limited parking lot that is located by the front greenhouse which also serves as the checkout center. A driveway on the north of the building is the one to pull into and allows you to head along the rest of the buildings where you can park by pulling into the angle parking or using the larger lot near the rear. (Note that there is a small drive between two buildings that allows you to turn to the south drive to exit.) There are flatbed wagons that you can use to load your plant selections on while you browse through the sheds. If you are getting more than one of an item, you can make use of the plastic shipping trays to load your choices so that they are less likely to fall off your cart. Generally speaking, you will find veggies to the north of the first shed, perennials in the next few, and annuals towards the rear. The plants we have purchased over the years have looked very healthy and well cared for. The staff is generally helpful in finding a specific type of plant, but even they can be stumped sometimes and may need to ask one of their coworkers. Still, they have good teamwork and are willing to help you find what you want. All in all, a nice selection of plants. Not the cheapest around, but they seem to be in better condition than what I've found at the big box stores. They also seem to have a better selection too! Review #2543

The Irving Theater Plant Shop is small but mighty! This shop is part of the Urban Houseplant Co.--…read morea female-owned Indianapolis Collective! Inside you'll find an impressive amount of plants for the size of the place. They make great use of the space, utilizing tall shelves and hanging plants to fit more inside. There was a good variety of plant types, too, and I definitely wanted to grab handfuls! It was nice to see signs labeling plants as good for low light to help you choose based on your home environment! The price points are very fair. I noticed $5 succulents, some $10 plants, a $25 one, a few more expensive, etc. They even had a container of discounted $1 succulents! There are also bags of soil for sale, that seem to be a blend (I think made by or sourced for the Collective?) I'd be interested to learn more about them next time I stop by. I ended up buying an adorable $5 succulent and two of the $1 ones. Next time, I'll have my eyes on some of the house plants. There are some lovely ones on their shelves! In short, this plant shop is a little gem! I'm so glad it's here in Irvington, and can't wait to come back in the future!

This is cute and small plant shop located in the heart of Irvington!…read more I had been following them on Instagram for a while and saw that they were having a 20% sale on all houseplants for the fourth. Obviously I had to make my way in. Matt was taking care of the shop that day and immediately greeted me and asked me what I was looking for. I'm the kind of person that doesn't really know plants, I just like them and try to keep them alive. I kind of looked around on my own but heart him talking to a couple about best watering and lighting conditions for what they needed. I liked that the shop was arranged by lighting needs. I went to the section of low light plants and chose a begonia. When I checked out Matt gave me recommendations on taking care of it. He also gave me a punch card. I believe it's buy 5, and then you get 50% off your 6th. I will definitely be back when I need to fulfill my plant impulses!
