Service was also a bit lukewarm, but whatevs. It being my first time here, I thought it best to go with one of their benchmark signatures and ordered The Legend burger with smoked applewood cheese and a side of sweet potato fries with a bacon mayonnaise dipping sauce. I have to say, that was one darn good burger. The meat was perfectly cooked, the sauce they used balanced out all the flavors nicely, and those fries were cooked to such perfection, I had to force myself to use the dipping sauce so it wouldn't go to waste. All I know is thanks to a drunken hunger I ended up here (only place open) and ordered 20 hot hot nuggets that kept me warm on a freezing cold walk of shame back to my bed. I have to say I have not had nuggets for a long long time and they were very welcome. A chicken and rib shop has been in the spot for about 20 years that I remember they used to do the most fantastic ribs when they first opened. They had the sauce fried into the ribs with no coating. Pure heaven, and I have not had anything since. Still these days it looked good, the staff were about as welcoming as you can except for an out of towner coming in close to closing. Luckily someone else came behind me that spoke the same language as the owner so they were a little happier to still be open. What I do remember is on my way out the shutters were about 3ft off the ground and I had to duck out!!! Still if its about 1230 and you have a drunken hunger that nothing can fix... this is the place for fried goodness.

The burgers are indeed delicious, juicy and yummy. Basically you choose if you want a regular burger, a cheeseburger or a steak burger and add some toppings (like bacon or sauces) you might want with it. Are you a vegetarian? No problem, they have veggie option. Also, they are pretty flexible in changing the order or the ingredients inside the burger (which you may know is not very common in London), so if you want something different or want your burger cooked another way they encourage you to let them know, so your experience will be even better. I've been to Tommi's for lunch yesterday; I got there right around noon and that was a good thing as the lunch crowd started to pour in just after me. I ordered the "Deal of the Century", which includes a burger, fries and a drink. Although they have a couple of sauces on sale, I don't think they're necessary as they also offer a wide variety of free condiments, such as various ketchups, mayos, chilli sauce & my absolute favourite...the caramalised onion. (They are that good and I wouldn't be surprised if they started charging for them soon.) Like I said, I like Tommi's Burger Joint - especially for the fact that it's dared to come to a rather bland location. I just hope that they won't get this silly idea to expand their emporium in a Byron style fashion...as soon as I see another Burger Joint popping up, they will have lost me as a costumer. The review I wrote about St. Pancras Station where FIVE GUYS caught my visual POV; however, I don't remember recalling mentioning FIVE GUYS-did I? Anyway, I stood at Bus #45's King's Cross St. Pancras bus stop heading back to Elephant & Castle after perusing throughout King's Cross and St. Pancras Train Stations with my mouth hanging ajar wondering is THAT the same FIVE GUYS . . . THE hamburger stand by that mall I visited . . . The SAME FIVE GUYS located at Westfield Mall on the OUTSIDE perimeter in Culver City, California I visited with my dear friend, Vida Ghaffari who introduced me to FIVE GUYS????? Oh-no waaaay! WAAAAAY! Freaking out, I slowly entered FIVE GUYS and the interior looks EXACTLY like all the FIVE GUYS I've visited in California: Whoa~I feel like I'm in California rather than skulking around London where it has been dark, dreary, raining . . . Is this a "Transporter" purposefully placed at King's Cross St. Pancras? Inside FIVE GUYS, the interior is bright and appealingly cheery. I order my burger and fries combo waiting about ten minutes observing my burger being freshly made, cooking on the grill . . . No frozen burger patties! I receive my meal, hunting for a vacant table . . . Truthfully, the place is jam-packed: Eureka~There's a table by the doorway! It's time addressing the burger I ordered: Chowing down my burger like the male Expat sitting across from my table, he's wolfing his burger down-he's going for broke . . . Now, onto wolfing a second burger! Whoa, Dude~Slow down, Man!!!!!
