In some cases you should definitely read the Yelp reviews before going into a restaurant. This was one of those situations. Had I read Tristan's review, I would've ordered a Little burger. Not the regular one I got... with cheese... and mushrooms. So my initial impressions of this place are that I hate the branding. I hate the red and white faux diner style. It's tacky and not in any way authentic. And then the prices. Holy shit. I paid 13.75 for a fast food burger, small fries and a soda. WTF?! Not cool. We went down to the basement to grab some seats. Lovely or not. It felt like a tarted-up McDonald's, except with no cheap prices and fun toys. I was already thinking I hated the place but the burger converted me a little. It was the first time I've ever got to pick the condiments I wanted and mushrooms. At Byron, you can pick the cheese you want but it still doesn't feel as customizable. Jesus, though, the burger was huge*. I finished it but it was a struggle and the stomach ache after was unwelcome. The fries were downright awful. The fun 'choose your own adventure' soda machine was a nice touch. I am not sure I would go back, I think I would but only for the burger. It was greasier and dirtier than Byrons and sometimes you just want to slum it a little, right? * For £8, it would want to be, wouldn't it?

    Soooo big!

I'm not a huge 'burger' person, so 5 Guys was never going to get five stars from me. The burger was big and I liked that you could select exactly what fillings you wanted. The downstairs area is kind of bleak and windowless though.. My favourite thing was the coke machine! P.S they've got 2 of these in the Burger King at Leicester Square too!

Tried 5 guys in the US. Wasnt impressed there, except for the price - lower than others. Here in London, it tested better - might be the uk meat quality. In any case - Byron remains the best. Better taste for the meat and te bun. Here at 5 guys u get more the north american taste and feel obvously - the buger is big and fullfilling, good, but i could taste the aluminium wrap when having the burger. Totally unnecesary waste, aluminium wrap even if u are eating inside. Puts me. Same goes for all other containers, forks, knives, all disposavel plastic. Fries were good. But still, i'll stick to Byron.

Well that was a surprise. I mean, it's not the best Burger I've ever had, but it's the best fast food style burger I've had. Way better than Shake Shack. The place is clean, bright, the staff are friendly and the music is good. I will say that it's very expensive for what you get, so I won't be making a habit of it (Byron is best burger) but I'm happy to have visited once.

Coca Cola freestyle machine, so many flavours!

Great Burger place!! Higly recommend if you are in the area and craving some gourmet burgers! But…read morethe price is still very reasonable! This restaurant is a chain and this particular location was super convenient for us being very close to our hotel. There was also plenty of seating so even though we arrived during prime dinner time, we were seated right away. Our waiter was awesome. Very welcoming and friendly. We were between 2 burgers: the Le Bleu Burger and the Smashed avocado burger so we asked for both to be sliced in half. This way we could both enjoy the burgers. While both burgers were delicious, the Bleu Burger was the way to go! Only one other burger place I've been to pulled off honey on a burger so I was very skeptical. But this burger was just perfect. The sweet blended with the savory so nicely. I will mention that I felt like we were waiting for our burgers for quite awhile. I almost said something because a gentleman arrived by himself a bit after us got his burger before us! I was pretty upset because his burger looked like the one we ordered so I was like not cool. He must have been a regular, but still. Despite that hiccup, the burgers were good enough to return for. Just plan accordingly and expect to wait a little bit for your food. Enjoy!

Bottom-line: while maybe average to its American traditional bbq counterpart , Boudean's is…read moreprobably as good as it gets for London. Ordered the half baby back ribs, fries and slaw. Baby back ribs: not necessarily fall of the bone type of ribs, but if you give it a good tug , some of the meats will slide off its axis. I enjoyed it for what it's worth. Obviously, the smoker is limited in scope , so I'm not expecting Texas style quality. Was a little chewy in some places, but also tender in others. Had a preference for the chiptole bbq sauce rather than the hickory. Fries were mostly good (minus the tiny bits). So close to the meats, the fries absorbed some of the smokiness flavor. Slaw: low-point of the bbq. They used way, way, too much dressing. Like it was flooded. Also the cabbage wasn't cut finely, but presented as whole chunk slices. Would definitely not recommend this one. Overall minus the slaw, I enjoyed Bodean's

Sticky fingers were not my favorite so may avoid that appetizer choice. Dined with a group of 35 and they were able to accommodate us in their basement dining area with a call ahead. Wait staff was pleasant although took a minute to get that much food out and had to ask for drink refills, but overall would surely return.
