I arranged with Fish to clean my outside windows, light fixtures and do a couple of other projects. They agreed to be here between 1-3 yesterday and when I called at 1:30, "Emmy" in the office told me the crew was probably on the way. When no one showed, or called to reschedule, by 5pm, I sent an email to Jason Bellavia saying I would accept a fifty percent discount on the work for the two extra hours I wasted waiting for them. Emmy called this morning saying she didn't know what had happened (and offering to send a crew immediately). I insisted on the discount. Jason then called and told me it had been "an internal thing" and mumbled "a problem with the invoice" (say what??) and offered to clean my fixtures and take 30 bucks off but insisting "we can't lose money on the deal." Completely unacceptable explanation and a half-hearted apology. Not a company I want working for me. (And they responded, trying to downplay, instead of just saying, "We blew it, hope you'll give us another chance." Classy. read more

I chose Fish because they advertise that they clean chandeliers. After contacting them in December to have my windows and two chandeliers cleaned I was tentatively put on the schedule the end of May. in April, Heather and her husband came to my home to see the job and give me a quote - they literally stood in my family room. The guys came out this week. They did an ok job on the windows but told me they didn't have the equipment to clean the chandelier in my family room. They were very apologetic and genuinely felt bad. After speaking with the Heather, she apologized for misjudging the height of the chandelier (thinking they could clean a chandelier hanging from a 18 foot ceiling with an 8 foot ladder.). So basically, I picked this company 6 months in advance because they advertise chandelier cleaning and now I can start my search again. Don't call them for chandelier cleaning - you'll be very disappointed. read more

Jeff and his team are wonderful and we are thrilled with the work they did cleaning our windows. After having them clean our gutters (accidentally, though that's a different story), I had Jeff quote out window washing given their great work on the gutters. The quote came in at what I felt was a very competitive price. We got the service on the schedule and they did a fantastic job. The gentleman who came out was considerate, incredibly thorough, and very friendly - he seemed genuinely passionate about his work. After a very rough winter we had FWC come out to our home and clean all our windows and outdoor glass doors. After seeing the finished work the best way to describe it was "ok". Nothing about the results were outstanding. Some windows were cleaned better than the others - some were smudge-free and some of the windows had smudges and streaks. I was left with the feeling that I could have done this job myself. I am happy to try anything once, but I will probably not be using them again. read more

Fish is fine but there are better more professional companies out there. I arranged my appointment explaining I work in the city and could not be home any earlier than 3:30. Appointment was set for 2:30-4:30. Per the lovely woman who answered at Fish the service person was to clean exterior windows and gutters then internal when I arrived home. Traffic was horrible I arrived home at 3:50. Upon calling Jeff, the owner, I was told the driver left at 4:00 (not true), I explained that I got home at 3:50 and saw the driver leaving. Was told there are 10 trucks and I must have seen another driver. (yeah right) Then Jeff rudely explained to me that the driver called (lie, there was no call, no message) and that he was not coming back. To top it off my sky lights were not cleaned at all and the exterior windows still had spots that needed cleaning. read more

I have used Fish Window Cleaning for several years and had always been very happy with their work. However, this time their work was shoddy. As far as I could tell, they didn't make any effort to move any furniture to clean the windows, didn't take a few extra minutes to wipe down the inside windowsills, and generally did a not so great job. I called Jeff at Fish to discuss the crews' work and asked Jeff to send a crew out at no additional charge to complete the job. However, it's been 5 or 6 weeks since that call and I haven't heard anything from the company about finishing the job they started. read more

Had Jeff's crew out while we were away, came home to all of Winter's sludge removed from the outsides of our windows! Everything was nicely done and will likely have them out in the Fall to do an inside & outside cleaning. read more

We have been a long time customer of Fish, however no longer! I have never dealt with a more disrespectful owner. I had called with a complaint, when Jeff returned my call, he couldn't be bothered to listen to what my problem was with his employee. He just talked over me didn't listen, told me if we are that unhappy we should take our business elsewhere! When I was finally able to talk to him, he was very rude and said he couldn't take any more time with me. He already was not making any money on our account. As a business, we were incredibly disatisfied with this company. After setting up a scheduled cleaning, we were blown off the first week they were supposed to come by. Figuring that mistakes happen, we set up for the following week to have all windows scraped clean of residue/tape and washed inside and out. The two young women who showed up "cleaned" the windows quite quickly. Several employees had to point out where the windows were still dirty and ask them to please clean them properly. After the bill was paid and the young women left the facility, there was still tons of old tape and scrapings laying all over our reception area and all of the window sills. These women made no effort to do an effeciant and thorough job. We called the owner to express our disatisfaction, where we were met with a rude and abrupt answer, in addition to being cut off while talking. "You know what, if you are that unhappy and disatisfied then you can just find somewhere else to have them cleaned." Those were the owners words when we called. Never again! read more

This might have been the most unprofessional company I have ever had to deal with. I set up an appointment to discuss the cleaning of my windows. Not only did the lady show up 35 minutes late. I saw her smoking in front of the building before she came in and smelled of smoke so badly. If she wants to smoke, I have no problems with that. The problem I had was she was already late but still decided to have that last cigarette. She had no idea what she was talking about and only seemed to care about the money instead of the potential relationship. read more

Couldn't be more pleased with the window washing (inside and outside) Fish just completed for me. They came over and gave me an estimate within hours of my call. Three men showed up on time (actually 10 minutes early) and they did an excellent job-particularly with several problem windows that I had. They were very professional and were very careful with all of the furnishings inside that were near the windows. I have had them clean my gutters in the fall as well and they did an outstanding job on that as well. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Received an estimate within hours of my request. Service was professional. The two guys who cleaned the Windows did an excellent job. Quite reasonable for a 2 story four bedroom house. No surprises when the work was completed like a different company we used in the past. They were true to the price of the estimate. Would most definitely use them again. read more
