If you need any office supply item and can't wait for Amazon this is really your only choice. Office Max and Office Depot came and went. Fisher just chugged along. It's a Hawaii staple. Kudos that they do not price gouge. Graph paper book, a ruler and 3 orbs came out to less than $8. Kinda unbelievable. Their processes are stuck in the 80s however. It took them 5 minutes to look up the price of a pen based on a book of pictures of all their pens. LOL

I haven't been here in a very long time! I needed items for a two year planning for one of two nonprofits. Busy, busy! I used to handle one, but here I am saving another from going under. Desperate times call for stepping up to prevent a well needed organization. Additionally they are near me since I moved to Kaka'ako. I needed an easel which are expensive, but found a somewhat solid, not too heavy aluminum one. No matter outside or inside, it wouldn't fall over that easy like very light ones! But it was the floor model. They had to search in the back for another one. Cost? $92. However, the black color one, same thing was $136? That's a great disparity. But through all this...a part time cashier, Aunty Edith was making sure I get it and called for help to search for it. She is friendly, funny, ringing up post it's, flags, all my gel pens, flip chart, and markers. I requested for invoice besides a receipt. I helped her walk through it together and figured it out. We were laughing as we blurted out remarks. She is such a joy. Even when two lines were backing up, the third cashier put a closed sign on her side. She sent customers to third cashier to ring up, only to be rejected. She literally pulled the sign from third cashier and told her to ring up customers and help. Aunty Edith exemplifies customer service and helping a trainee on first register. This shopping trip was a very pleasant! Ciao!

The pen is mightier than the sword until you run out of ink...o_O* gah! That's when we head to Fisher Hawaii of course!! Short of having a cafe and a hot water pot to cook your noodles they have everything here to supply the entire office and check off your school supplies which I've done for years!! Absolutely love the varieties and the choice to purchase just one pen and the freedom to try it out before you buy it is what really keeps me coming back oh and it's super convenient location in Kaka'ako with plenty of parking. Don't forget they have great selection of furnitures too, many pandemic items like sanitizer, lysol wipes, even desk plastic separator (gosh I'm sure we'll have a word for that one day). Fisher Hawaii is the original warehouse deals that has taken care and supplied us with everyday useful items that I'm so grateful to have. Thank you!!

Wow! I haven't been here in years. Glad to see they're still in business and still the amazing store that I remember them being. From office supplies to art supplies they have it all. And the best part is that it's at an amazing price. Hard to find or Japan only items can be found here sometimes. But there's always some sort of sale. Be sure to check their Instagram. The cashier, Nora, was very fast and even though their CC machine was down they had a back up to make sure the lines kept moving.

As a kid growing up I recall my family shopping at local favorite Long's for school supplies. We used to glance through the bi-weekly newspaper ads to see which supplies were needed for back to school. This was a ritual at our home just as summer was coming to an end. However, when I graduated from college and entered the work force, I find myself patronizing Fisher Hawaii (FH) for personal and work related supplies rather than shopping at Long's. Located in Kakaako near the federal building and Restaurant Row, FH is a convenient store offering a large range of supplies. Personal, business, office and school supplies - you name it. FH is basically a warehouse and very old school. The atmosphere may seem a little dingy but it's well air-conditioned. Every so often I make my way here to pick up supplies as I appreciate the large selection and decent quality. With many aisles in the store it can be overwhelming trying to locate what you want. But if you see an employee wearing their signature royal blue polo shirts, flag one of them down if you need assistance finding a particular item. They do have sales and can find their ads in the paper. The prices are very reasonable which makes me a repeat consumer when I need supplies. During the the graduation season, as you walk in you'll find ribbon and artificial leis and ribbon/yarn supplies that you can coordinate with that graduate's school colors. They have their own private parking lot that can get full at times. Street metered parking also available. As you stand in line waiting at the cashier section, I often find myself checking out the racks of assorted Asian snacks that are priced well. Overall, a great place to pick up supplies where you'll have a large variety to select from at reasonable prices with helpful staff on the floor.

One-stop-shop for creatives, office, school, & general home stuff. Easy to find, easy parking, easy to navigate around the store, easy to check out. Fisher Hawaii in Kakaako has incredible employees. Even if they're busy stocking or helping someone else, they always asked if we needed help and physically walked us to the aisle/area to find the items. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than other office supply stores. I would give 5 stars, but I just wish the air condition was stronger. Fans are around the warehouse, but it was still pretty hot. Love the selection of supplies they have - we always go for back-to-school shopping & paint/brushes/canvas. Their pen selection is heaven for a paper planner

Where is the parking for fisher Hawaii?

There is a designated lot right outside of the store for the Pohukaina location.

Up until now, they've always done a great job, but this recent experience for Mother's Day was extremely disappointing. First, the delivery driver brought the wrong bouquet. I paid $209.41 (including delivery), but my mom received a bouquet that was clearly not what I ordered later confirmed to be a lower priced arrangement. I had to call customer service, who then contacted the driver immediately. While I appreciate that they responded quickly, it still took about 47 minutes for the driver to return, take back the incorrect bouquet, and retrieve the correct one from the truck. When the correct arrangement finally arrived, the presentation was still off. The vase was too short for the flowers, making the bouquet look unbalanced and like it was falling out. For over $200, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. On top of that, the company advertised "free delivery," but that only applied to very limited areas on the island. I still had to pay a delivery fee despite the initial mistake being entirely on their end, which felt misleading. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day. I've had good experiences before, but this one really missed the mark.

Thank you, Twinsie "Auntie" Nadine C., for showing me love and introducing me to tuberose. I am a HUGE fan of tuberose now! I was thoughtfully blessed with some leis here and wow do I feel loved! Gorgeous, fragrant, and they lasted the whole trip with a light spritz of water in a bag and popped into the refrigerator. I even got to check the place out while we were leaving Chinatown. My father brought a huge corporate account to Cindys, which they made A LOT of money from. He had a personal relationship with the owners, which kept us loyal for decades. After my father passed, the company cut tie with Cindy's. I was devastated and didn't understand why. Cindy's always gave us the best service. Recently I found out why relations were cut. Cindy's has really changed and no longer provides the great customer service they once did. I placed a very important order for an event on the mainland to be shipped out and arrive a day before the event. I placed the order over a month in advance and was promised it would be just fine and well taken care of. Well, when the week of the event came, I called every day, multiple times a day, just to confirm everything. They won't answer their phones. I sent emails and messages through their website. Those also went unanswered. I even went to the store in person before work at 6am, nut it wasn't open yet. I had no way of getting in touch with them and wondered if they had shut down. I had to go on the faith that they have always provided us stellar service in the past. I was so wrong. Cindy's completely forgot to send my order at all, and left me without anything, the day before the event. The amount of stress I went through trying to find a florist on the mainland to provide lei was insane. Cindy's finally answered my many messages the day before. They said they could try to overnight my order that they forgot, but there were no promises it would get there on time, since the event was on a Saturday. I still have not been sent a receipt from them, which I asked for multiple times, or confirmation of the mailing. The lei did go, and my credit card got a huge charge, but without the receipt, I don't even know what I paid them for. And really, after all they put us through, they should have comped the order. My dad would be rolling in his grave to know how far downhill the company that he loved to support has gone. As for me, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I do truly hope they can get it together and grow back into the great company they once were.

Since I couldn't clearly remember the exact name of the item, I told same name what I ordered and the staff responded rudely, saying, "you can't understand what Im saying." I felt very offended by the disrespectful tone, but I looked it up and told them again.
