This parking lot is conveniently located in prime location of Old Port. All tourist attractions and spots are within walking distance. The lot is probably the biggest is the area, has so many spots. But there's no attendees, all self served process. The lot is decent quality, mostly clean and safe to park. There are no prices posted for visitors to see ahead of time what to pay. Only after you go to the pay station you realize the minimum is 2 hours that cost $28. Additional hours are $8 each. The receipt must be displayed on dashboard. The operating company controls all parking lots in the area, so the high prices are unavoidable, unless you are lucky to get a street parking spot. You also receive a text that allows you to extend the parking hours, but that text comes only 5 minutes before your time expires. Sadly there's no mention of this anywhere. read more

This parking lot is really convenient. If you're with a group of people who are always last minute and with people who can't walk that far, then you might have to go with this lot cause there wasn't a lot of time to research or all other noticed options are too far away etc. It is easier not to go with the hourly option if you aren't local or in a huge hurry for a short visit etc. There are Ubers available, but again, you need to consider your crowd, schedule, and if you are local or not etc. Pay the insane all day rate of $40 Or more so that you won't get a parking ticket that is even more than that. This is more than many places in downtown Philadelphia all day. They used to allow an app but apparently the app no longer is used for this parking lot. It seems that to minimize people getting tickets in this lot, they just charge a flat rate of $40+ for you to park all day until 2 AM. Better than getting a parking ticket. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Decent location but spent 60 bucks just for a couple of hours. The way they charge you is ridiculous too, with a 13% transaction fee! I later realized that there's a parking place 3 minutes away that costs 20 bucks for the whole day. Dont waste your time here, just drive 3 minutes further to save tons of money. read more

Do not park here! I parked here in the evening. I paid at the machine and paid for two hours worth of parking. The machine gave me the option to either print a receipt OR receive a text message receipt! It did not say that anything needed to be displayed. If that is the case- why would you give the option for an electronic receipt and not a printed one? So, FOUR minutes after I had just paid for two hours worth of parking- they give me a ticket! I disputed the claim and they denied it saying "It's a pay and display lot". What? Your system is the one allowing electronic payment and receipts! Complete BS. Park elsewhere. read more

You must put in your credit card to see what the cost will be and before you can can adjust the time needed (such as one or two hours) it processes without your approval. We got scammed for $42! Do not park in this lot. You will end up w additional so-called penalties for whatever this lot makes up. We parked for two hours and the machine never gave us something to put into the window on the car. 2 hours later I have a Citation from www.unifiedportland.rmcpay.com 43.00 Penalty that goes to 63.00 today and the Citation was written on 4/14/22. The worst. If they think you overstayed by 10 minutes, the fee is $90 (sent in a threatening letter with pictures of your car).

As with the other reviews, we paid and parked. We put in the correct plate number and returned in time, yet we were still given a parking citation. Their machine is definitely broken because at least 2 other parties had the exact same issue and were given parking tickets. There are no clear directions as to how to dispute this. After parking we both paid at the machine on the lot, the transaction was confirmed and we were given the option to print, text a receipt or no receipt. I clicked no receipt. Quite disappointed in the parking lot. Arrived in Portland area at approx 11:45. Pulled into Fisherman's Wharf public parking lot, woman in booth asked us if we wanted the daily rate or the hourly rate. We opted for the hourly rate only to stop and eat, walk just a little along the Main Street and return to our traveling. Woman handed us a ticket it was not produced by the stamp machine. Hourly rate was $3 per hour. Weren't we surprised when we returned to the car at 1:39 and were charged for 3 hours. Woman said we were there 3 hours and produced a ticket reading entry at 11:04. Be cautious, double check time when ticket handed to you, and be aware of your time in & out . Something shady going on here read more
