This is my second time being a member at Healthtrax and I would have left them feedback directly,…read morebut they have no feedback box so I had to leave it here. I just took a Pilates class where the instructor didn't even introduce herself. Didn't check to see if anyone was new didn't correct anyone's form Was on her phone a good amount of the time in class. There was no music. She wasn't there early to prepare and they literally talked about alcohol and drinking the entire class. I love camaraderie in a group, but I was there to exercise and though I was able to get a workout, I was so distracted by everything else in the unpleasantness of the focus of the class that I couldn't wait to get out. I have been an instructor for 20+ years so I feel confident sharing this critique. Do better Healthtrax!!

Although one the two hydro massage tables is often broken, this new gym feature, introduced a…read morecouple of years ago, provided a pleasant end to a vigorous workout day. Enter your code and settings, and once a day your membership allowed you to sit back and enjoy a 10 minute hydro massage. Not any more. Without notice, management decided to abruptly end this free gym membership feature and turn it into a revenue stream. Now it charges a monthly extra fee. Another member and I discovered this service subtraction on a recent Saturday morning when we entered our individual codes but the machine failed to respond. I walked over to the front desk to ask them to reboot the machines and was told that management suddenly realized that the hydro massage tables were operating in the red, and thus an extra fee would be charged. There was supposed to have been an email that explained this to members but, sorry, apparently it never went out because many members had questioned why the tables weren't working. I wonder what other machines management is going to soon discover have been operating in the red ? Doesn't the club own these massage machines ? How can members using them cause the club to operate in " the red" ? Bikes ? Treadmills ? Rowing machines ? BTW we were told that the steam room was supposed to have been fixed this Spring but it's the end of June, 2025 and it's still out of commission. Some additional red flags: one of the hand held hairdryers in the men's locker room has had a sign on it saying " out of order" for more than two weeks, there are obvious cut backs in regular cleaning and maintenance - the white tiled top step into the hot tub was filthy last time I was there, Kleenex boxes are no longer provided, plastic bags for wet suits are no longer provided etc. I just hope the local health department regularly checks the water in the pool !

I'm very happy that I "took a chance" and walked in to Bare Bones. The staff is wonderful, prices…read morefair and the workout is awesome. My traditional gym workout has gotten so boring so I tried the boxing class. I feel comfortable pushing myself, or not doing so, without pressure from the instructors; we all go at our own pace with "encouragement" from the instructor. Clayton is very welcoming, Anthony's class had more boxing tips which was something I want, and even though Amber kicked my behind in her class, I left smiling. The music is perfect (shout out to Anthony with the Bad Bunny) as well. As a healthy man in his 50's, I was nervous (my skinny ass in a BOXING gym??) but I did not need to be. From the minute I walked in I felt comfortable. Super nice people in the classes as well (some very fit, others just doing their best to get a workout). Someday hoping to get real boxing classes but for now the classes are just perfect. A lot of fun, stress reliever, and a GREAT workout.

What a workout! I signed up for a three month unlimited membership and it was worth every moment…read moreand every cent. This boxing gym is phenomenal- with a few machines, a small boxing ring, and a separate area with dozens of punching bags. Although the classes are meant for boxers of all levels (and I count as whatever comes before "beginner"), the instructors are tough and definitely push your limits. So come ready to beat the crap outta that bag! Another plus is the full body workout. Start out stretching, work up to some cardio (like laps around the gym), punch time, and wind down with ab exercises. I'm still a huge wimp but in my freshly renewed membership I'll try to work up to more than one class a week.

I really liked this class. I do barre3 in New York so I'm no stranger to the workout but I found…read morethat the instructor I tried on Saturday morning was so nice and led a really great workout that balanced cardio, weights, and strength training perfectly. She also had a really fun playlist - better than other barre3 classes I've done before for sure. The studio itself is really pretty and bright with a good amount of merchandise for sale. It's a nice open room with lots of mirror real estate. The class itself was more crowded than what I'm accustomed to in New York and I found myself bumping into my neighbor a couple times which was uncomfortable. Imo they would really benefit from reducing the class sizes by 5-10%. I was also a little frustrated by the conflicting info on their website which said in two different places that all equipment was provided, and then separately that you were responsible for bringing your own mats and props. As it turns out, equipment IS provided, but that should really be updated for clarity's sake. All in all, a good and fun workout and I'll be back, but some frustrations with the studio as a whole.

I absolutely love barre3! I got hooked after taking one of their free Sunset Sweat classes and…read morehaven't stopped going since. The studio is so beautiful and bright, each staff member is incredibly friendly, and the place has such a great energy overall. I have tried other studios, but nothing even comes close to this. I drive an hour and a half round trip just to take classes here. The intensity of classes and supportive community is worth it. I have suffered from intense chronic pain for the past 13 years and going to class here on a regular basis has given me more relief than anything else I've tried. You have to give barre3 a try!!
