The worst of it all was the Strawberry Margarita, which I took 2 sips of and told the waitress it was horrible. It looked like 4 ounces of radioactive red syrupee liquid with a taste of artificial red 40 and a hint of licor. The waitress took the drink with her and a few minutes later came back and said that her manager said that "it had to remain in the bill", no reason was given and no offer to "make it better" either. I am 100% convinced that the woman at the front did not want us at the restaurant. I'll just say that I'm a little on the "dark side" & my wife is from "further south". I don't know if she was an employee or the owner, because she didn't utter a word to us when we walked in. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. She was wearing an apron so I assume she was the chef. From the time my wife and I walked in, she glanced up, saw us, then did not make eye contact again. She didn't greet us or acknowledge our existence for a few minutes. We travel heavily throughout East Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, and Southwest Virginia for workk. Maybe this is one of those Seinfeld "soup not-see" places. No chit chat. Just take your food and go.
