What a wonderful first experience at South Corona Chiropractic. From calling to schedule my first appointment to walking in, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Upon arrival I filled out the paperwork to better help Dr evaluate my issues. Afterwards I opted into the x rays to see the issues as well. This helped see exactly where Dr could start at. I love/hate to give this review because more people will know how amazing Dr. Torrez and his team are and then my little gem won't be a secret. If you're looking for an office with FRIENDLY KIND people this is the office Lauren the office manager and Sara at the front desk know you by name. They build a relationship with you. This office is one filled with laughter and the energy is so good. Dr. T is friendly, and professional. As a woman I have NEVER been made to feel uncomfortable in his presence. He is always respectful. He offers the ability to have x-rays taken, E-STEM treatments, a rolling table that feels amazing. I haven't even gotten to one of the best parts. There is a massage therapist on office. I believe she's there three days a week. She os incredible. She listens to your body and focuses on the root of the issue. I know it sounds like they paid me for this or someone in the office wrote it. But the reason I feel so strongly is because this is the doctor who actually helped me, not just popped my back. I had a rib out for months and it got the point I was in agony, I was new to the area, he had good reviews, and I was close to his office so I gave it a shot. He is amazing. His team is amazing. I go for maintenance now and I'm so thankful I found my chiropractor. I do want to note, they do accept insurance so call and find out if yours is one. So...a couple of weeks ago, I began having an old familiar pain in my back which traveled down my leg and into my foot. In 2012, I had the same issue and it was attributed to an old injury. L4-L5 disc was slipping into canal due to degenerated bone. Surgery fixed the problem. Fast forward to now. I was hoping it was just a pinched nerve and made an appt with Dr. Torrez who read my history, took x-rays and spent time showing me what he believes to be the issue. He recommended I return to my spine surgeon for consultation and an MRI. He was personable and attentive, and asked me to stay in touch to let him know the outcome. I was informed management of this office has changed but this review is for Dr. Torrez as I have not met the other previous Doctor. My low back has been a problem since weight lifting when I was younger. I have seen many chiropractors but recently moved to corona and needed to find a new office. My first visit was very educational. First time someone actually took X-rays to see what's going on inside. He showed me I actually broke the last bone in my lumbar spine and it shifted forward which is what giving me problems all my life. Know this he said he knows exactly how to adjust me. My low back has never felt better (so much less pressure, and my motion is even improving as I can actually pick stuff up off the ground now) and I've only seen Dr. Torrez 4 times now. The pricing is completely reasonable knowing I don't have insurance and pay cash. I paid twice what I've paid already in my last dental procedure and I didn't even feel relief from that.
