Greg also recognizes that as we age, workouts have to change to suit our bodies, and I have always left his gym energized and feeling great. He has helped reduce my aches and pains and strengthen those areas that need it most. I recommend both Matrix of Motion and Greg without reservation for anyone interested in maximizing physical benefits in a minimum of time.

I thought I had done my research before choosing LA Fitness, but I was completely wrong. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with a gym. I only went four times after joining -- yes, it was that bad. The gym is constantly overcrowded. You wait for machines not just during peak hours, but all the time. Members are often more interested in socializing than actually working out. They sit on machines chatting for long periods, and when you politely ask to jump in, you are met with glares or treated like you are interrupting something sacred. It is incredibly uncomfortable and discouraging for someone genuinely trying to work out. Some areas, especially in the cardio section, smell unpleasant, and several machines are often broken or poorly maintained. I eventually gave up on trying to get a proper workout and decided to use the sauna instead -- but that was no better. Every time I went in, there were women talking loudly on their phones, shaving, or even using the hot stones to dry their clothes. I honestly could not believe it. It was completely inappropriate and unsanitary. The showers were equally disappointing -- clogged drains full of hair, empty shampoo bottles left behind, used razors on the floor. I know the gym cannot control every member's behavior, but there are clearly no enforced standards or accountability. When you overfill a gym with no structure or cleanliness standards, this is what you get. To top it all off, I noticed that several members smoke right outside the entrance. Walking through a cloud of smoke on your way into a fitness facility is something I truly did not expect. And when you try to cancel? You are billed for an additional month, even if you do not plan on returning. No flexibility, no consideration. All in all, if you are looking for a serious, clean, and respectful environment to work out in -- and perhaps unwind in the sauna or shower -- this is not the place. My son is not that into sports so I was worried, however he loved the programing at Warriors. They never let anyone feel left out and were always encouraging team work, friendship and fair play. Her reasoning when I called her out was that they were "working out" but that is still against Fit4Less rules. 1. As of the recent change, it is now required to fully wear a mask even when you're performing an exercise. Under no circumstances you take off your mask. These individuals didn't even have them on. 2. EVERYONE was working out, me and the other minorities weren't even moving yet she specifically targets us. (I was literally seated) This happened today as of 2021-02-26 during the 11AM timeslot. If management ever sees this and doubts it happened, feel free to check your cameras in that room. Newmarket in general has a higher population of Caucasians but I didn't believe that kind of racism has made its way into their local businesses...

I'm consistent with acupuncture, but I've done ear candling as well and wouldn't hesitate to try other treatments she offers. The facility is always immaculate. Each of the treatment rooms have a fireplace (electric), adding to the relaxation. Kelly was very thorough @ the beginning of each session asking many questions about my overall health and well being before she started each treatment. this applied whether it had been a month, week or day since my last session. I saw Kelly prior to my IVF, during and after. I have no doubt that Kelly is the reason I had a successful first try @ IVF, a healthy and comfortable pregnancy right up to the end and our healthy happy baby boy. Kelly is without a doubt, the most knowledgeable acupuncturist around. I think it is because of her genuine passion for what she does. She holds many professional designations which allow her to know what areas to target specifically and quickly. not to mention her actual experience and the list of succesful clients she has served and continues to serve. At the end of each session, Kelly gave me a few pointers on what to do or assist in whatever my body needed, e.g. stretches, tea to drink, foods to eat, etc. she didnt have to do any of that, but did so because she truly cares about her clients. Kelly also makes the best kombucha if you get a chance to try it- dont pass it up. if you need any of the services offered by Kelly, you will be doing yourself a disservice by not using her. I sincerely mean that. I am beyond grateful for the referrals to kelly and all that she has done for me.

Whenever I enter and exit the facility, the staff by the door would always ensure to greet me which sometimes could really raise a persons mood. The staff are usually very helpful if I had any questions or needed help. Another plus would be that there are plenty of parking spaces around the plaza, so no matter how busy it is, you can still find a decent spot The facility overall is very clean and the machines are not completely old and worn out compared to other locations I've visited. On the weekdays, there is usually a cleaner every morning that comes to sweep and mop the gym. Cleanliness is an important factor in not only gyms but for everything, and this gym does a good job with it. I find that most of the machines don't have much problems because of how attentive the staff is. TIP: Mornings and evenings on weekdays are generally busier, so if you could, come during the afternoon. Saturday's overall is usually less busy compared to Sunday's as well.

We were part of dozens of people that moved there when another popular gym closed, therefore still have many friends there. What a difference good management makes.
