I was very disappointed with our recent order from Fit Meals 4U. Several of the meals we received had meat that was visibly pink and undercooked. Unfortunately, my husband ended up getting sick after eating one of them, which is extremely concerning. He did have to go to the emergency room to get treated. He does have fragile stomach as he is recovering from C diff. Additionally, the meals were far too spicy, which was not clearly stated when ordering. The website lacks clear instructions for customization--there's no obvious place to note dietary preferences like using only pink salt or avoiding specific ingredients. This made the ordering process frustrating and unclear. What's even more disappointing is that I've reached out multiple times--both by phone and email--and have not received any response from Fit Meals 4U. I expected better customer service, especially when it comes to health and safety concerns. Another example of this businesses ethics: your response is to again call me a liar? Just like you insinuated in your other response that I couldn't prove my veteran status? C'mon man, how low do you want to go? Start with your team and ask them who talked to me before calling me a liar. And if they aren't honest with you then you might have a culture problem. The person I talked to knew how to handle customer service and I hope he doesn't get punished for trying to do the right thing. And about my "lie" - I reposted the pic you r manager uploaded when she tried to discredit me. It's your own driver's phone showing I attempted a call and a FaceTime, and they didn't answer. Not even a callback. So I found your company number on Google and called that number immediately. I was in my car driving around the neighborhood because I saw on the video that the guy had just picked my food off the sidewalk minutes before so I just wanted to quickly report it, and he said you would contact me later that day, which you did not. Yes, it was a short call. But the person I talked to didn't need all this back-and-forth just to try and do the right thing and research my order. Apparently you still don't get it. I've given plenty of evidence to support what I said. What would I gain by making up lies about your company? Nothing. And you continue to try and argue with me and harass me by trying to publicly defame me. This whole thing had zero to do with food/money and everything to do about customer service and treating people with respect as a business owner. I'm pretty sure anyone reading this doesn't care about the details you keep arguing. Your values and the way you treat your customers through these responses reflects everything I was trying to warn people about and more. It's a shame, I liked the sound of your program and the one order I did receive was better than most. But people want to support small, private businesses that have values, integrity and make a positive difference in the community. Keep trying to pick a fight if you want but I'm moving on. Do better. I was having a hard time ordering on the website for same day pickup but when I called to see if it was possible, Heather was so kind and helpful! The meals look and taste amazing! Super healthy and perfect serving size to keep me on track with my goals! Very affordable! I think I spent like 70 bucks for 7 meals! I'm a flight attendant and they fit perfect in my lunch bag. It's sad that they are no longer serving on base or allow pick up orders because this was a staple lunch for me. The food is very well portioned out. Many of it is bland food but that's ok because I add my own flavors to it for my taste but the meals are delicious and they always have a good variety. You get you daily value of protein and veggies and you have the option to add carbs to it online but the prepackaged comes already made with portioned out carbs, veggies and protein. When you choose to put politcally-motivated and offensive signs (calling people "socialist idiots") up at your business, it isn't me who is bringing beliefs into the equation; it's you. By posting things like this at your store, it is now part of the decor and should absolutely be critiqued in a review. The signs made me uncomfortable and your lax attitude towards COVID (your employee was wearing a plastic shield and not a mask when I came in) made me feel unsafe. These are important things that people should know about before they choose to patronize a business. I ordered before ever coming to the store and was simply letting other people who may choose to do the same know what to expect upon arrival. It would have factored into my decision to order, so it may or may not factor into thiers. I never said that you weren't and aren't entitled to your opinions and beliefs (in fact I said that you are), but potential customers also have the right to know that you are posting those polarizing beliefs at your store. Praise the meal prep lord. If you are serious about meal prep and have to follow strict macros, this is going to be excellent for you. Not only is the food super yummy, but also the custom meals allow you to customize everything, including the seasoning! This is always something I struggled with with past meal prep companies: the food was either bland and you had to add your own seasoning or it was extra garlicy and my IBS wasn't happy at all. In addition, they offer MANY varieties of carbs, not just rice or potatoes. They have couscous and quinoa, which I find refreshing as rice in the long term can bore you. They have mushrooms and cauliflower for veggies! Such love! Their protein muffin and power balls are super delicious and fit macro friendly... I am just waiting that they add protein Pancakes and then they have a client for life! I just received my first order today and tried the first two meals. This is serious wow food! I have tried all the meal prep: Keto, Paleo, Low Carb, Low Fat...nothing tastes this good. This is better than the majority of restaurants in our area, especially anything we get from Grubhub. Now I order weekly and do not have to worry about cooking dinner since we work different shifts and don't get to eat together. Just ate our first meal from Joe. The food was delicious and fresh, it tasted like real food. Joe was responsive and easy to work with. The delivery truck looked so clean and very nice. A really important thing is you can order custom meals without seasoning, hubby needs low sodium. Yet even one of the regular meals was not too salty for him, which is unusual with other services.
