Had a nice, non-competitive feel and teacher explained asanas carefully and gave options according to how much our bodies could handle. With the added bonus of teacher describing yogic principles (yamas and niyamas), I walked away feeling inspired.

Lift is unique. It is a gym where you take classes with what feels like your own personal trainer…read more When you show up at Lift for your class, the workout is already planned for you. If you're consistent in attending the classes, you get the most benefit because the classes throughout the week are prepared with a whole-body workout in mind, in other words if you do the Monday class, you do lower body and core, Wednesday is upper body, and Fridays is a sweat class that combines Monday and Wednesdays classes plus a little something - something cardio to really complete the week! There are lots of classes at lots of different hours, and in addition to the lower, upper, and sweat classes, there are lots of other options to do on your other days. Try the Ride/spin class, the Tri-Ride, Boot Camp, or the Lift Lite for those perhaps who don't have as much mobility yet. Lift is non-judgmental and all-welcoming. Regardless of your color, ethnicity, size, or religion, Lift is welcoming, and loves to encourage everyone, WE are family. When you first walk in, you may not know anyone, but after a few minutes, or perhaps, after your first couple of visits, you will feel right at home. We have all been through different journeys with our weight, health, and different levels of motivation and through it all we know we are not alone and that we can count on each other when we need a little extra push, encouragement, or accountability. Lift is fun, it is effective, and it is a place to learn about exercise, proper form, nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle.

I couldn't be more disappointed. I recently moved up to…read moreHutchinson Island from Palm Beach County and needed to find a PT practice to partner in my long-term needs. My Doctor had no recommendations in Vero, so he reached out to a practice he refers to in Stuart for a referral. That PT recommended Michael or his wife at Back in Form. I reached out to them and explained my needs to Melanie, the receptionist. I would typically need 20 to 25 visits a year to deal with two injuries, one injury would be covered by Medicare and another from a settlement agreement/self-pay. Melanie said she reached out to the settlement agreement provider, as well as Medicare and all was good. I showed up from my appointment and found that the appointment was not with Michael or his wife and that they would not do an evaluation on my neck yet because they did not have a current prescription. This had been discussed previously with Melanie and she knew that I had an appointment with a new doctor to manage that injury. I reminded her that Florida is a "direct access state" meaning a prescription for physical therapy is not required, she still refused to allow the scheduled evaluation without a current prescription. I went ahead with an initial evaluation with a PT for my shoulder. Next, I went to the new cervical orthopedic Physician, received a prescription for neck PT and at my next appointment, presented Melanie the prescription. She stated that I would not be able to get an evaluation on my neck unless I was discharged on my shoulder. Apparently, according to her, this practice will not work on two different parts of the body at the same time or she was being intentionally obtuse. I said thank you and left. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement, she wasted their time as well as mine. To say that she was an obstructionist would minimize the situation at best as I was very clear with my needs and Melanie's indicated they were good with those expectations. I subsequently tried to reach out to the owner without a return phone call, that alone should give any potential patient pause. My impression of this practice is that if you have a minor injury that you need help with, it might be OK, but if you are looking for a long term partner for long-time injury, run.
