So my sister waited til the last second to hem her bridesmaid dress for my wedding. That's on her, so I really can't say anything about that. But yelp let me down. They had great reviews and I'm all about home businesses. It was $40 to hem the dress and we were out of time so I said that's fine. The hem is super uneven and sewn crooked and wrinkled. We thought it just needed to be pressed. But it's sewn that way! We had no time before the wedding so I had no real recourse but this is awful. The below pic is three dresses. This is a home business in a secure gated community. Master tailor with reasonable, competitively low prices. Only accepts cash. Work area is in their garage, no full length mirrors, change areas. Garage door is open for all neighbors to see. I had dropped off my clothes for tailoring with its original hangers. But did not get my hangers back when I picked up my finished clothes. Also the clothes were not pressed as good-quality work should be (from a Master Tailor). I tired to call the day before to pick up sooner but could not get through the line. So I emailed but did not get an email reply. I would use them again but the quality of the finished product/clothes should be better, especially if it came with our own personal hangers. It should remain in its original hangers. I realize they work from their home but I'm sure they can work out the hangers and pressed tailoring before they are return to the customer. read more

I needed three different things done to three different articles of clothing one was fix zipper the other was shorten a dress and last have a dress tailored to fit my boobs. I did not have to try anything on because I knew exactly what I wanted to get done... It is a home business I did have to go by my zipper which I had no problem doing due to the fact that I got all three items done for $22 . I have to say I am completely satisfied with how quickly he was able to finish them it was about 24 hours. Just picked up my garments and oh my goodness this man is good. I was really skeptical at first because he didn't really pin anything he just kind of observed and made a mark with a safety pin on all my items. I had pants shortened and taken in from size large to small. All items fit perfectly. Pricing is very very reasonable and the stitching quality is phenomenal. I had 5 of my shirts altered and he did it professionally done in 2 days..and very affordable. I saved his phone # on my contact list for future alterations. Its a home business but very affordable compared to dry cleaners who charges an arm and a leg .I had 2 of my shirts done by a professional cleaner and they charge 3 times he charges and took them 1 week to get it done.. read more

I'm usually a big supporter of home businesses.. I've been here before and had some shirts tailored and they did good. Recently I had some work done and they charged me 40% more for doing the same thing. When I picked up the shirts and tried them on, I told the tailor the shirts fitted to tight around the shoulders, he said "no, they fit just fine"....WTF? Ok.. Now These shirts are designed more for function than looks, so they NEED to fit properly.. I'm Extremely disappointed. Now I have to go somewhere else (where they will actually listen) to get this fixed. Stay away.. read more
