Also, the battery was dying and it's very difficult to get a new battery for a computer this old. I started searching to see if I could get a second opinion and I found Nerdchickk. We texted back-and-forth and she offered to come to the house to take a look at it. She worked on it for 2 1/2 hours trying to change the drivers she charged me $80 and she said there's nothing really that I could do. She told me that I could trade in my computer and get more money. So I'm going to bring her back just to upload all the information from my laptop to a thumb drive [because I don't trust myself to do it] and I'm willing to pay her to do it, because I feel she is very competent. She was honest and she knows her stuff.

He wanted to make sure he fully understood my concerns and double-checked that I was aware a factory reset would wipe my info before he proceeded. Anyway, tears and panic ensued. I knew to turn it off and flip it over but watching cider drip from between the keys, I also knew I was going to need help getting this thing dried out. We brought it to this shop, and the told the staff what happened. The customer service was amazing. They were so helpful, didn't preach or lecture, they took it right away, scrubbed it, took it apart, dried it out, put it back together, and had it back to us in under 30 minutes. Coming here was the best decision. I would definitely recommend this place.
