I have been a member of the gym for one year now and I have nothing to say but positive things. The classes are very very good. Monday class at 5:00 pm is called Power Rounds and WOW! This is truly a great and intense workout. Great instructor. The Pilates class is also very good. The place is clean and they are very nice. read more

I love this Gym They have friendly staff and a whole lot of new equipment, I really feel comfortable working out here, machines are always available and they offer free clases such as Yoga, Pilates and spinning. I been a member for 3 years now and I would never go back to 24 hour fitness or la fitness this gym is so much better. They are open 24 hours a day which is a must for me because sometimes I can't sleep and I can go in to do something productive with my time. read more

This gym and the owners are outstanding. Super friendly staff and patrons. The gym itself was extremely clean and all the cardio machines were consistently wiped down and in fantastic working order. The environment was very positive and full of regular people from all walks of life and ethnicities. There is a superb sense of community and smiles all around. The U.S. Military has placed me all around the world and, although it covers gyms on base, I can confidently state that Fitness 1440 is one of the best private gyms out there. I am so confused with all of these reviews. I've worked out in gyms all over the world and can safely say that this place is immaculate and a prime example of what gyms should be and what they should offer. I'm not even a member yet as I am eagerly awaiting the end of my membership this month at another gym, but I can't wait to join 1440. I understand that people get so used to a certain type of way that they can't swallow the pill of positive change but my goodness these reviews ‍. I honestly don't know how any owner could possibly deal with the ridiculous issues that people continue to bring up on these apps. I've been a member since the gym was JustFit..almost 10 years. Mike and Jillian single-handedly ruined this gym. They came in and immediately raised prices, removed all the great fitness classes, fired all of the amazing trainers, stopped running all of the other great amenities the gym had to offer only to not be able to pay rent and eventually close. This bs about masks mandates that got Mike arrested 3 times was an unnecessary stunt that only wasted everyone's time and money. Apparently, this whole situation wasn't as sudden as they'd like members to believe. It's pathetic that they want people to believe the county is out to get them, when in reality they just ruined their own business. Sad to have the gym close but glad they aren't in the picture anymore. Their gofundme is asking for $600k sitting with only $100...so much for their "supporters." Hopefully, competent owners come through soon and when they do I'll be back. read more

I have been a member of this gym for about 8 years. I used to love it but since the new ownership took over it is terrible. They got rid of my trainer. They charge extra for group fitness, which is something I use ocasionally, but not often enough to want to pay extra for it. I asked for the national news to be put on the tv in the morning but was told the national news was too divisive. So instead of the national news (CNN, MSNBC, or Fox News would have been fine) they play TNT and the CW in the morning. Who watches CW????? I've been coming here a couple of weeks now after dumping 24 hour fitness(best decision ever) 1440 is clean and a lot bigger than you would imagine. Great free weight area , Dumbbells up to 120lbs as well. They have a juice bar , spin classes, large room for classes , Pilates kids club and an outdoor turf area you can drag a sled or push some tires. Bad ass! Very affordable and cheap to sign up. I recently joined Fitness 1440 thru Silver Sneakers. If you like Aerobic Exercise Classes this place is for you. It also has a Pilates program, not to mention a large spin cycle area. Their personal trainers are pro-active and very helpful. They also have equipment that is unique.. On the down side, their machines are limited and too close together. They are open 24 hours, but have no employees after hours. So you could end up being completely alone at night??? All in all, come in and check it out. read more

SCAMMERS - Worst gym ever, my old gym NAC (Nashville Atheltic Club) moved us over there without our permission in Jan 2021 and I canceled my membership in March 2021. They still charged me $210 even after the cancellation. read more

Today my family and I had the absolute WORST experience in trying to renew our membership. As a retired police officer and my wife a school teacher in Plantation along with our two disable children we were trying to maintain our yearly rate of approximately $600. Apparently to the self proclaimed owner Mike Carnavale as he called himself because he refused to give us anything in writing to prove who he actually was tried to rip us off by charging us $1000.00. We have been members on what would have been 4yrs. We would NEVER EVER recommend this gym to anyone and will now go out of our ways to anyone who will listen including my current 1300 plus employees to steer clear and as far away from this gyms possible. I got sick with thyroid disease last year and was assured over the phone my membership would be cancelled. A year later I have been trying to get ahold of a company called Paramount Acceptance that would never pick up the phone or return my calls but was charging my credit card monthly, only to find out it was Fitness 1440. When I called the gym they were extremely unapologetic and refused to fix this issue. The manager did not get on the phone and when I expressed my dissatisfaction with their collection company I was met with 'well we never have complaints about them in the past'. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - WATCH YOUR BACK WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR WAYS TO CHARGE YOU OVER AND OVER EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW YOU AREN'T USING THEIR SERVICES. SHAME ON THEM. read more

I like this gym but I think there is new ownership because the atmosphere is very different from what it used to be about 2 years ago. And the music is loud which is annoying because I dont want to listen to what they play while Im working out. Hoping it gets better with time. read more

Walked in walked out! Talk about run down and throwing bandaids on what should be a total loss. Machines rusty broke down yea they had some that looked new but like 10 new machines everything else looked like you could get staph just by looking at it. Floors had a layer of filth I was literally on the floor for two minutes and ruined my pants! I've seen some poor little guy cleaning his tail off but come on a mop will not clean those floors! Some staff are nice the rest are well "New". Gotta say planet fitness got me easy being right down the street for a fraction of the cost. read more

In the past few months, the gym has frequently been closed for "renovations" and a lot of services aren't consistently available. The gym is advertised as 24 hours however they were closed early this morning without any prior notice to customers. Extremely disappointing gym experience for the money. We've been at this location for 5 years but not a day longer. We've relocated to Planet Fitness, Plantation, Florida. The new staff is unpleasant, disagreeable and condescending. The equipment is old. All of the previous trainers have been let go, have to share the floor space with dog. read more

Horrible management. I was kicked out of the gym for being married to someone whos brother worked there. My husband was fired from the gym (while on duty for the military ...serving our country) because the general manager said he did not feel comfortable around anyone who was related to my brother inlaw. This gym is an amazing gym, the staff here are very nice and will always help you if you have a problem with something. I lost my key about 4 times and they gave me a new one everytime without charging me. The best thing about this gym is how lowkey and open it is, it is never really packed when you go at the right time and the gym also has everything you need to get an intense workout in. Sauna not readily available and when it is it's not as hot a temperature as other gyms. Lighting is sometimes out for a week and not maintained as well as body wash in men's shower. Equipment could use some updating only 3 hammer strength machines in the whole gym... other than that I love that there is rarely ever a big crowd here which is a plus because you can use any equipment you need. read more

This gym is really nice and clean. One thing which I don't like about this place is the fact you are unable to use the fitness room after 8pm because the older man which cleans the gym at night doesn't let you. Which in my opinion is very strange. Since the gym is open 24h everything in this gym should be available 24h. I'm a tennis player and my program requires some exercises which I'm unable to do in the back room because there is too many equipment...so at that point I'm considering changing the gym. read more

(never introduced himself) wanted to sale a package and when I told him I didn't want a pkg he told the young lady standing with him handle her although she was very nice, she was uncomfortable at the way he motion toward me she gave me and after the aquatics tour the young lady had a question for the mgr ( what is price pay per class he said 10.00) he turned and walked my way very aggressively and pointed to a schedule on the counter and said this what we have and these are the times and walked off as though I was a bother so I looked on schedule and said I must be missing something because I don't see any classes scheduled for aquatics and the young lady said we don't schedule if we don't have an instructor. All that being said I felt since I wasn't interested in a pgk they weren't interested me. Very rude!! read more

So many positive changes since the new management took over! First time in years that I've seen the owners actually present in the gym and observing what goes on! Every time I go into the gym there is a new piece of equipment. They are constantly upgrading the gym and bringing in the newest machines. Overall I like this place. I do not find the owners friendly but that does not matter because I come to workout. I overheard the female owner say lockers are for "daily" use yet I have observed 10 or more locks consistently on the same lockers for months. I applaud the attempt to get members to restack their weights because it was truly getting out of hand. You can't please everybody but keep up the good work! Thank you. read more
