I wanted to give this a couple months before I posted a review…read more.. I found this gym after looking for something a bit more structured post-Covid. The regular peloton cardio and Planet Fitness just wasn't getting me where I wanna go. This place has been fantastic so far. As someone who has never really lifted weights, the trainers and owner has been fantastic at instructing the correct way to lift. They have two major programs as well as an open gym option. The programs are led by a trainer, one being team training, one being small group training. If you have not been working out lately, you will leave gassed. You will be sore. The workouts are about an hour long. I have been going about 3-4 days a week which has given me enough time to recover between workouts. Bring a towel and water bottle, my first workout was free. They do have shower facilities if you are coming from or going to work. And bonus... the showers are clean. The folks I have met here have been super friendly and welcoming. Ownership has also been very welcoming and motivating. If your looking for a new place to workout, definitely check these guys out... so far I am very happy I did...

Trainers that…read moreare skilled to know when to modify the workout to meet your skill level or accommodate the knee, shoulder, or back issues and you still get a good solid workout. I started in the Lean Down Challenge a 6 week program/20 lbs. I get to attend all the boot camps I want and have a small group personal training session once per week. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in the door. The boot camps are available daily. The trainers are extremely personable. I admit I love to hate them during my workouts but I feel so good a little bit after they end. Mac, Emily, and Bill are fantastic! I'm down 6 lbs, feel stronger and surprised myself by accomplishing some of the exercises I never thought I could do. I just started my 3rd week looking forward to meeting more goals I've set for myself. I've finally found a gym home. It's never too late to live your best life. I'm on my way!. Thanks guys!

I love that there are no mirrors and you can just let go and work out without getting distracted by how you look. Don't worry, the trainers will ensure your form is on point. I came in having only worked out with body weight and within weeks became comfortable with a far more dynamic range of exercises that worked my whole body using weights. The people you work out are with are so supportive. Non-judgmental, morale-boosting, motivating, consistently on point, 100 % WORTH THE INVESTMENT!

I moved to Maryland and was looking for a personal trainer, when I stumbled upon Thrive. I emailed for information and Coach Josh got right back to me. He told me to come in and try a class. He thought I would enjoy their class style and get the same benefits, without the high cost of personal training. He was so right! I was immediately welcomed into the gym by the coaches and other members, who are now friends! The atmosphere is encouraging (high fives are required), inspiring (there is a daily motivational message/story) and fun. They mix up the workouts daily so you never get bored and there are always challenges, where healthy competition keeps you motivated. They even do bonus workouts where you can donate to support the community and different charities! Class times vary and with a busy work schedule I love the 5am class, but there truly is something for everyone! I am so lucky to have found Thrive and that I have found a place that makes working out an enjoyable beginning to everyday!

Initially I was excitedly about this gym, however the excitement changed when I realized that this…read morecompany is not transparent or honest. I went to the gym to inquire about their training (personal) and everything seemed okay. I asked about pricing and exceptions The man in the front explained everything however what was not posted or even stated was their agreement rules. I was told that upon signing up I would receive a call to set up a day and time with the trainer; 299 for 4 weeks one day a week. When I signed up it was the beginning of the month ( February 2nd) strike 1 did not receive a call to schedule until a week later, strike two could not match schedules so I asked them to cancel my membership and because we could not find something that matches our schedules and I never was given services to refund me. They said in their agreement that they do not do refunds. Where is the agreement posted in their gym, and it was never sent to me. I literally had to search their website to find information. I disputed the transaction within my bank and lost...ok fine but now they say I owe 65 after multiple emails telling them I want nothing to do with company is crazy. This company is not honest, not transparent, and my experience has been the worst!

I attended my first class at Mayweather as I was considering becoming a member. I spoke with Travis…read morea few times on the phone about my options and he was super helpful with helping me understand what Mayweather has to offer. I got to class 15 minutes early as requested. There wasn't anyone at the front desk but I overheard an explanation being provided of to someone so I listened in. The space is an open room with cubbies for your belongings and then a front desk area with some retail and a few hi top tables. The class started at 12:10 and is shown on the television. The workout itself is a circuit that gets you to all of the stations including some strength work, cardio and ends with abs. I loved the strength and ab work and the music. Other than that I didn't care for the combination of the television guide, the 4 different types of boxing bags (I prefer the aqua bag) or the bright lights during the workout. The set-up reminded me of orange theory which wasn't for me the few times I tried it. I think 7-8 stations going at once was also too distracting for me. The instructor was really nice and did his best to check in on everyone but it wasn't enough for me, I couldn't keep up with all the competing voices and movements. If you're seeking a fast paced full body workout you should check out this location.
