I haven't tried my XForm HG 200, I just picked it up. I will write a review on that later. I must say I thought this was a scam!! I was so scared I had been ripped off only because of the Lack of Communication!! I could Not reach anyone through phone or email. It was Very frustrating. I drove up and picked the item up myself because they wouldn't answer me. They have many orders there that nobody have picked up yet and I wonder if it's because they think they have been scammed. I almost didn't pick it up. Just pick your order up and don't expect a reply through email or to talk to a human on the phone. Why did I not do my research by checking the reviews on this place! I order an item, they sent me confirmation of my order, they sent me a tracking number... 1 week passes and the number they sent me, still shows as "label created by shipper" meaning they created a label, but didn't ship the product!!!! I contacted Canada Post - they say contact the retailer. I contact seller, they don't reply. Deplorable customer service. I suggest you pay by PayPal and not credit cards, so that when you never receive your item you can dispute the charge and let these scammers get a bad credit hit! read more

I bought a squat rack with a so called "cable system", however the black piece that attaches to the cable and holds the weight only goes up, so you can lift the weight but wont go back the other way eccentrically, rendering this "cable system" useless. I've tried contacting the company several times the last few days and nothing. It's August 26th and I can't get any cooperation from the company. I have not money, no product or had any discussion with anyone about next steps or even their policy for reimbursement. I've updated my rating to 5-stars. Fitness Avenue's customer service reached out to apologize and explain the amount of orders and lag times they are dealing with. They also helped me select an item to order and confirmed processing and delivery times are now being reduced extensively. Therefore, based on this, I've updated my review for them. I have chosen to give it another shot, now that things are beginning to stabilize. Today I went out Christmas shopping and found a great rack/rig for my wife. there was an issue in not finding my order after purchasing. I purchased it on Mastercard but I did not receive any notification regarding order details or if the purchase was declined, nothing. I check with Mastercard who was polite and was told that my payment to fitness avenue had been processed, it had been approved, it had been moved from pending status to processed status and the deal was done. The customer service rep was this young man who when confronted with a problem proceeds to tell you his accreditations and all his experience, to say I am just a knowledgeless customer. With the gyms all closed, I wanted to get a good chin/dip station for home. After searching extensively, I found one in-stock at Fitness Avenue online. There was a note indicating that there would be a 15 to 20 business day wait, but I placed my order anyways. I was pleasantly surprised that after 14 business days, two large packages arrived via FedEx containing my order. The unit came neatly packaged and it took about 90 minutes to assemble it. I emailed before to make they had 1" holes as my attachments are 1" they said that it does have 1" holes and then sent 5/8 holes that I cannot use. Now they are refusing to take them back as there product description doesn't state the size of holes, and even though I have it in writing from them that the holes are 1" I need to get a "Merchant Letter" stating that 5/8th holes are not 1" holes. I have received exceptionally poor customer service. I ordered over two weeks and was told when I ordered shipping would 1-3 business days. Here we are two weeks later and I received nothing. I was told it would be shipping out shortly a week ago, yet my card was charged the day I ordered. Completely dysfunctional service. Incorrectly marked items as in-stock, doesn't send the item, and then accuses customers of actually receiving it before eventually realizing that they messed up. Then takes multiple days to simply process a refund of only that missing item while ignoring the ridiculous shipping fees that were charged. This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I'm not one to write reviews, but I think buyers should be aware before wasting money with Fitness Ave. I made a purchase to fit a 2 floor commercial facility - a large investment. 30 Mins before i arrived to pick up the order ( the 4th time i had called to confirm everything was ready to go) I was told the order was not ready. I had traveled 4 hours to pick this product up my self. It then took them (with my help and a friends) 3 hours to load our truck because they were pulling product off the shelves still. They proceeded to take a 30 min lunch break in the middle of our loading. The Sales staff (if you can call them that) had little to no experience with any of the equipment, and absolutely zero customer service skills. We had purchased 3 of the Xform Airbikes, and ALL have Broken down within 2 months of use. Crankshafts have snapped, bolts have stripped, even nuts on the bike have split in two... IMPOSSIBLE WITH PROPER STEEL. This company uses knock off products, and zero accountability. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are denying this product has flaws, and have yet to agree to refund the faulty products we have purchased, that is now sitting in storage as they are completely unusable. I would never spend another cent at Fitness Ave. Go to ANY other fitness store if possible. I personally have had a MUCH better experience at Treadmill Factory although i cant speak for their products as of yet (we have not received them) - go with the Assault Brand if you're looking for bikes. I saw a lot of bad reviews here regarding the slow service for Fitness Avenue, but I just want to help clear the water here...should I remind everyone that we are currently undergoing a pandemic here? Almost all companies are short staffed due to layoffs. Give them a break...they even posted a notice about orders being processed slower than normal on their website. You are lucky to even find stock for fitness equipment at Fitness Avenue. Anyways, now to my real review. I ordered a squat rack on May 13. I was expecting to receive this in mid June, however to my surprise, it was delivered TODAY on a Saturday. All in all, it was a great experience for me. The only thing I will say is that I did not even receive a shipping confirmation email..the product just showed up at my door! The rack was everything I expected and super easy to put together. I ordered online more than two weeks go, I have screenshot of the order confirmation screen on the website and my visa was charged. I have not received absolutely nothing even an email about it, I had tried to call several times but they don't answer or let you to leave a message, I had sent several emails to them, they are completely silent, no response. There is no way to track my order either. Are they scam for real? How can I know if I receive anything? Or even is there a way to cancel? Been waiting 3 weeks for a resolution from customer service regarding a defect to a pulley machine. Response time is very bad, which is understandable given COVID-19 and their order volume now. The response quality is an entirely separate issue. I sent multiple videos showing the defect, and they still had to send the video to a "technician". First of all, what is a technician going to tell you that my video outlining the issue isn't? Technician decided to answer a completely unrelated concern to the original defect I was inquiring about and ignored the defect that was impacting the actual use of the machine. Now i'm just waiting, with a $800 machine that doesn't work as intended for a response. A this point it doesn't even look like they'll send out replacement parts. I ordered at the beginning of April and have been informed by Fed Ex that the package was never given to them, even though the label was generated. I have emailed repeatedly with no response. I was understanding of the situation we are dealing with, but no communication when it's a 275.00 purchase is rather shabby customer care. What's more, they reply to the reviews below claiming that covid-19 is the cause, however the complaints about their service span back years with the same recurring issue-- bad product, bad service, and no communication. I placed an order Sept. 9th for in-stock items on their website and was excited, but cautious because of how scarce gym equipment has been. On Sept. 15th I was contacted by customer service to let me know that one of the items (the main item and I can't use the others unless I have that item) was back-ordered arriving in 3-6 weeks. I asked if they were *actually* going to get the item back or not and they assured me they would, but I have now been trying to contact them via email and phone since Sept. 24th and have not received any response. Given the unforeseen delay, I need to change my delivery address because I am moving, but can't get in touch with anyone. Disappointed with my overall experience with this company. I made a purchase from them though bestbuy's marketplace on March 18th. I messaged them on March 20th and emailed them on March 25th. While my order sat "In Progress" for the entire time, they've had the same product in stock on their own website "fitnessavenue.ca" and for sale. They automatically cancelled my order on March 25th (7 days after my initial order) and finally responded to my message a day after with out any explanation on the cancellation (March 26th). Even after cancelling, they are still showing in-stock on their own website. I found fitness avenue as probably many have when trying to get equipment for the COVID19 lockdown. Amazing prices and equipment quality compared to everyone else! My family and I were really excited, and while the 1-3 months of waiting as indicated by them was unfortunate, we understood because of COVID19 that supplies were low, shipping was slow, and order volume has shot through the roof. We ordered near the end of April and had no issue with it taking several weeks to hear responses from customer service, we were extremely patient. I got an email almost a month after our order saying there was a mismatch between the billing and delivery address. I had made a typo in the delivery address, replacing a 2 with a 4. Whoops, thought I could email them and simply correct the error to provide the correct house number and so it will match the credit card. Well not at all, what a slog that was. I couldn't do so unless I had matching government issued ID with a photo, exact name matching on the card, and the matching address. Issue was the purchase made on my mother's card and she had married last year. All her IDs now had her new last name but the credit card remained in her old name. I had an expired license to give but I also provided several utility bills with her old name and the full address. That would be enough for many, but apparently not for the customer service at Fitness Avenue. We wanted to use her card because of the security it provides with purchases and due to the large order, the points collected. I had this back and forth going on for a month to see what IDs they would take, apparently none it seemed. We finally decided to cancel our order today which was extremely disappointing as that equipment was high quality at an amazing price and we were patient for more than 2 months. I was never escalated to someone that could help me despite me asking and was very much dismissed by the customer service agent I was in contact with. We were very sympathetic to the load Fitness Avenue was under due to COVID19 but were not provided with an ounce of help due to a single, stupid, typo. I would discourage anyone from ordering here on the basis of customer service alone, and not because of the speed of it, but the quality of it. And based on numerous other reviews here on their customer service issues, it would seem I had plenty of warning something like this may happen. God forbid someone makes a typo. read more

They charged my credit card and then emailed me 4 weeks later saying they wouldn't deliver to an address that wasn't the same as billing and that I needed to etransfer the money... but they already had my money. If I could go lower on the ratings I would. Product is good, customer service is non-existent. I've outfitted 3 gyms with items from Fitness Avenue. Until their recent change to online only, everything was peachy. Through COVID, I understand we're all going through growing pains and hurdles... however, I as a business owner am also under those same growing pains and hurdles and can honestly say my customer service has remained a priority. In the last year, I've made 4 purchases. Not one of them has gone correct. 1 was leading into COVID, and then when it came time to pick up my product - it wasn't allowed because of COVID. Fine... I can understand. After several months, I became irritated and said to ship it. They ended up not even having my product in stock (likely sold it). Another order I placed at the beginning of COVID, and after several months, I was able to receive it... but once again, missing products that said in-stock online, and at the time of order. Order #3.... missing hardware, and wrong items sent. I had to purchase the hardware myself to install the items, and was able to have the wrong item corrected BY MYSELF through means of calling in favours from some friends that can weld. Customer service said they would look into reimbursing me for the hardware costs, but have since gone silent through emails (2 months without a response back so far...). Hardware totally nearly $100, excluding the likely $100-200 welding fee that should have been tacked on. Order #4: COVID was slowing down, stuff was re-stocking... I ordered the missing pieces from my Order #2. Its been 1 month, and not a single update. No order received, but they gladly took my money. read more

Ordered barbell/weights April 1st and they arrived May 7th, while it was slow everything did arrive, and they emailed back within a few days when I inquired about my order status. As with others the shipping label was created weeks before the item was picked up by Fedex, probably because it takes a long time to pick items while the staff social distance. I purchased a stationary bike online from Fitness Avenue. One of the reasons I bought from this particular company, was because it had the best warranty. After only two days of owning/riding the bike, both petals would fall off every time I would use the bike and the left peddle would freeze up while peddling, almost throwing me off the bike. After 4-5 days of this happening every day, I emailed customer service. After no response for a few days, I called one of the store locations. They tired to troubleshoot the issue with me. However after being unable to fix it, they suggested I contact customer again. Finally after several days, I received a response from Sylvia in customer service, saying they were looking into it. A WEEK LATER I had not heard back, so I called Sylvia to see what was going on, she basically told me they were stilling looking into it. After I reminded her, that is what she told me a week ago and I wanted a response. She said she would get back to me by the end of the day. Finally I received an email back, saying they would send me two knew peddles. Two weeks later I received the new petals; the first two days of using the bike. Everything was great, however day 3, another screw fell off and the petals started to freeze up again. I emailed Sylvia back again, and in their classic horrible customer service fashion, I did not hear back for days. When I finally heard back, she basically told me just to tighten the screw back on. I told her that I was not happy with the bike or the customer service. I have had nothing but problems with the bike and wanted to return the bike for a full refund. I was told that I had 3 options: Option (1) is to send the bike back to us at your own cost in it's original packaging. Upon receiving the item our warehouse staff will inspect the item and test if it is a defective product. If the item is found to in fact be defective we will offer you a full refund. However if we find no fault in the item we can only offer you a partial refund as we have to retain 30% as a restocking fee to put this product back in our warehouse. Option (2) is to send the bike back to us at your own cost for repair. We will repair any/all damages if found and we will cover the cost of shipping to send the bike back to you. Option (3) is to take on the responsibility of finding a professional repair person/company yourself and have them look after the product. If they find any defects and bill you, we will need a copy of the receipt and will refund you 10% of the cost of the item. I purchased a Treadmill online. Transaction occurred and they had my dollars. Treadmill was available. It was to be delivered 30 days later. Fine. No problems. I am patient and know things are slower these days. Two problems: 1)There is nobody on a phone. They only answer you by email anywhere from 2 days to more later. I was also dealing w another fitness gear company and talked to them in two days. If this other fitness gear company can speak to you to pass on information, so can FA. 2) When it came time for delivery, that is when I got a lot of strange talk from these people at FA. Get this. They had my money for near a month. Then they started asking me for an e-transfer for the same amount for them to send the TM That is weird all by itself. After numerous e-mails back and forth , I am told my shipping address and billing address are not the same, so they can't shipped the TM to me. The confirmation document received shows both to be exactly the same. I even confirmed with the CC company. They insisted that it was not the same and this was an indication that someone stole the card. It was cleared by the CC company, you have the money, send me my product. They insisted not the same address. They said there was a period in one address and not in the other. Not in the document I had. There was no problem solving ability on the part of their staff to resolve this period except me sending them more $. Would anybody in their right mind send them an e-transfer, and there is no way to get hold of them? They made it clear to me that the problem was at my end and not their fault. Sheesh Really? Covid or no Covid, this company is suspicious and I got my money back, I suspect there was another reason for not shipping the TM I ordered. read more

This company is a joke. They send you the wrong equipment on purpose hoping you will not notice or not care? Either way its ridiculous. When you email to try and get it fixed you are left waiting days and days with no response and just forget about trying to get a phone call it wont happen. When they finally send you something to "fix" the problem I can guarantee it wont be helpful. In my case they sent me two pieces of leftover metal they had in the back, welded it together, screwed holes in it that don't even line up! and claim it as a "fix". I would avoid using this company at all costs. You pay a fortune for the equipment and you get horrible service and flimsy equipment that does not match. Customer service, forget about it, they don't have any. I'm now going on a month and a half trying to find a solution, oh and its been over two weeks since they've responded to my emails. Thank god they admitted to sending me the incorrect stuff and my bank had no problem charging it back!
