It took almost two months to replace a simple bike chain. The company sent a technician, initially at an overpriced diagnosis rate, but that's ok. I agreed to this. I had a broken bike chain and they needed to order the chain. This is where the troubles begin. I gave the company some grace during the first week since they had to order the part, but the communication quickly fell apart. When I followed up, the dispatcher told me the part hadn't been delivered, promised to speak with her manager, and said she would call me back. She never did. This cycle of me calling, her promising a callback, happened three separate times between a three week period (I called once a week). Then she stopped answering my phone calls. The only reason I continued was because I already paid for service.... Since my bike was still broken and I couldn't get a straight answer, I finally emailed their office and threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau. Only then did they explain that their supplier ran out of chains and they needed another week to source the part from a different company. Even the final step was a mess. Dispatch scheduled my repair appointment for 12-3PM, but the technician showed up at 10:00 AM. I wasn't home and had to rush back, terrified I would miss him. Fortunately, the technician was incredibly understanding and waited for me to arrive before doing an excellent job on the repair. If you don't mind waiting a month and dealing with terrible communication, the actual repair work is great. But if you want a company that respects your time and doesn't give you the runaround, I cannot recommend them. I am giving this business two stars, and both of them are strictly for the excellent on-site technicians.

My wife wanted a recumbent bike and I wanted an elliptical machine. After doing a lot of research I was going to order online but didn't like the idea of such a big purchase without trying it out. All the stores that used to sell equipment were gone. After some google searching I found RX Fitness. They carry higher end brands but still found some in my budget. Plus their delivery fee includes assembly and was 1/3rd the cost of the websites I was looking at. I called and spoke to Charles who confirmed he had the models we wanted you to try. We went after work since they were having a Labor Day sale. He was extremely knowledgeable and went over the products, explained the differences, and had us try everything. Zero pressure sales, just friendly knowledge. After an hour and a lot of sweat we picked the equipment. A Spirit Fitness XBR95 Recumbent Bike and a Vectra 220 Elliptical. I was originally going to get the Spirit elliptical but I really like the feeling of the Vectra better. We purchased on Tuesday and it was delivered Friday. They don't just order from the manufacturer they have their own warehouse inventory and use a dedicated delivery and assembly team. The delivery crew was equally awesome. While building the equipment they talked about workout tips, showed all the features of the equipment, and went over preventative maintenance tips. I totally love our purchases and even on the lowest setting the elliptical is kicking my butt so I look forward to improving my endurance! If you're looking for fitness equipment look no further. They've got several locations. Newport Beach, Anaheim Hills, and Thousand Oaks. They have cardio and weight lifting equipment.

Ultimate Customer Service!…read more So I purchased two rolls of the 4x25 rubber flooring from Mike on Monday this week. Unfortunately, one of the rolls had a weird spot on it that wasn't 100% vulcanized and was semi deteriorated. I called Mike and he offered to bring me a roll but it would be later in the day. Since I had equipment coming Tuesday, I kinda needed it fast. I asked if I needed to return the roll and Mike said nope, that's yours now. I'll replace it and give you a second roll for your trouble. I couldn't believe it! In this day and age, the customer service level was absolutely incredible. Mike, thank you so much, I got it all worked out and have the extra roll now. This would cost $5-6,000 anywhere else and was such a good deal. On top of that, HUGE shoutout to Richard who notified me of what could and could not fit in my tiny Honda civic, for recommending me places to rent trucks cheaper to transport the heavier equipment, and finally for helping me load over 2,000 lbs worth of equipment onto my car. And that stuff was heavy, we were loading over 200+lbs at a time. He also did a great job in helping with the weight distribution so my car wasn't scraping the floor and he did a great job turning huge things around in my car to make it fit. I to unfortunately have the exact same experience. I had bought a couple of pieces from art previously and paid him cash upon delivery and did not have any issue. When I reached out to him to get another piece of equipment for me for a clients he asked me to make a deposit for him into his account to hold a piece of equipment. Having had previously good experiences, I was willing to do that for him to secure the order for me. Shortly there after, He stopped responding to my messages and texts and it took me almost a month to get a hold of him. He was very angry when I finally did claiming that I was inundating him with messages and calls while he was in Mexico and basically read me the riot act on the phone even though I explained to him that I was concerned that he had a deposit from a client from me for a piece of equipment and I had not heard back from him. He asked me if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund of my deposit and I said yes I would like to do that. He then asked if he could deposit the money directly into my bank account but unfortunately there are no branches of my bank in the area that he does business in. I asked him to simply pay an invoice to me that I sent him via Square. It has been over a year and a half and I have never received any payment. Like the other gentleman stated, he never responds to text messages or answers the phone. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing Business with this gentleman under any circumstances. If you do, only pay him upon arrival or delivery of the equipment. My better judgment told me not to pay anything in advance but as I stated given to prior transactions with no problem I thought it was a safe thing to do. My mistake.
