He told me they didn't do business with Assault Fitness anymore (very understandable) and told me he had a better manual treadmill sold by Cascade Health & Fitness. I was hesitant at first but I looked them up and they were a very reputable company that makes very high quality equipment. The price was definitely over my budget but Mark told me he would work with me on that and would send me a quote later that day. He gives me his direct contact as well and was truly helpful and kind throughout the whole process. I get the quote later and Mark gave me a quote that surprisingly worked for my budget, also I find out he's the president of Fitness Direct. Him going out of his way to make a sale, go above and beyond for an individual with a garage gym, and not to a commercial customer with a high dollar ticket really earned my respect. It was a no brainer for me to buy from Fitness Direct. The treadmill took about two weeks to get delivered to me once I placed the order and was unfortunately 3 days late due to some miscommunication between Fitness Direct and Cascade. Once it came in though, I was surprised on how well the treadmill was built and how much smoother it ran than the Assault treadmills I've been familiar with. It was really easy to look over the mistake that led to a delay in delivery. I'm more than happy with my experience with Fitness Direct, Mark, and my new equipment. Ultimate Customer Service!…read more So I purchased two rolls of the 4x25 rubber flooring from Mike on Monday this week. Unfortunately, one of the rolls had a weird spot on it that wasn't 100% vulcanized and was semi deteriorated. I called Mike and he offered to bring me a roll but it would be later in the day. Since I had equipment coming Tuesday, I kinda needed it fast. I asked if I needed to return the roll and Mike said nope, that's yours now. I'll replace it and give you a second roll for your trouble. These are adjustable dumbbells from 5# to 90# that can be adjusted in 2.5# increments. I own a set at my Chicago home and believe these are the best adjustable dumbbells on the market. The owner, Gary, answered all my questions and provided an estimate of several pieces I was interested in. I told him I'm working on organizing my garage and would make the purchase when ready. Then the pandemic closes the gyms. This motivates me to finish my garage, but when I contact Gary to complete the order, he tells me that he's sold out AND there's a back order for months! It was a number of months later and quite frankly I forgot about them, but Justin from Fitness Warehouse USA contacts me to say my main items are available. Justin is very personable and was just as excited as me to provide the items ordered. He helped me load my items in my car and helped me decide on some additional equipment. What struck me most about Gary is his integrity. Dumbbells and many other types of exercise equipment are scarce and in high demand. There is a lot of price gouging and delivery favoritism occurring in this industry. Gary has a queue of when product arrives and who takes delivery. He also stayed true to his estimate, though he's fully aware of the price gouging (Especially Powerblock dumbbells) with fitness equipment and treated me exactly the same as where we left off when we initially met over 6-months ago. James arrived within the window he stated and did a very thorough diagnostic assessment and cleaning of the unit. He discovered that deep in the machine there was a set screw that was not tightened correctly, which was causing the flywheel to be misaligned and adding wear on its belt. The unit runs better than new after the service and I've had to increase my increments on the incline and level to get the same workout since I am no longer fighting bad alignment.
