BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is seriously the worst gym I've ever seen. First of all, equipment they have is very old and not getting enough maintenance. Some are held together with duct tape. Yes, you heard it right DUCT TAPE!!! Many of weight lift machines does not look safe due to parts getting loose or who knows what. this gym is the first one that I felt concern for my safety when working out. Second, Filthy locker room. I have to get to work after I workout, so I take a shower at the gym. Guess what? Locker room, restroom, and shower is all in one small room. Well I don't have problem with that.. the problem is it doesn't have any vents at all. It always feel stuffy and hot not to mention the smell of piss, crap, and sweat due to no air circulation. Third, towel service Their towel is not clean at all. It always have stains on it and it is literally garbage cloth being reused over and over again. Lastly, MANAGEMENT (MANGER DENNY) DO NOT EVER UNDER ESTIMATE THIS GYM FOR HOW STUCK UP THEY CAN BE ABOUT MONEY!!! This manger Denny will try to sell you 7 days trial pass, When I can get them for free from other staff. Seriously Denny? I just got off the phone with one of your staff and I was basically warned that you will try to sell it when It's free by one of your staff. LACK OR NO COMMUNICATION, if there's problem with your account or you get wrongly charged? GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THESE GUYS. once they have your money, you are not gonna see them again. What if it was staff's fault? DOESN"T MATTER, nothing we can do about it AND why do I have to wonder around gym to find a staff for help? 99 percent of time, they are on their cellphone watching YouTube. After a year of circuit training at a near by Pure Form Training gym I found myself bored and plateaued! I found a weight lifting class at Fitness System that is held on the floor and not in the typical group fitness classroom. This intrigued me right away being that I had always wanted to learn more about weight machines and free weights combined without paying a personal trainer or taking another cheesy workout class such as RIPPED, BODYPUMP, KETTLEBELL, Etc. I have tried them all! As a gym snob I wasn't impressed with the curb appeal and location when I pulled up eight months ago but to my surprise this gym became the best thing that ever happened to my fitness level and experience! This intro to weight lifting class is taught by Summer Thatcher who is a certified fitness instructor with a ton of fitness education and experience. So much that I train with her in addition to her class held M/W/F at 9 AM. I love that she covers all that needs to be done to look and feel great in those three days. Leg day, back day, Push (arms) and gets cardio and abs in there as well. And the best part is that I learn how to workout on the floor instead of following an instructor in front of a mirror. That to me is boring! This gym has endless options of excercises due to the amount of equipment they provide and is clean and spacious as well. I don't believe I will plateau or get bored anytime soon thanks to the well established Fitness System and amazing trainer Summer Thatcher. The west Sac location was impressive as well! read more

I love this gym, it's my second home :)! I love the staff they are so welcoming, goofy, and most importantly they truly care about you. They offer FREE classes, FREE daycare, FREE towel service!! The one thing I would change is to have the daycare open on Sundays, I would love to just go as soon as I get out of church. I was reading a lot of the reviews on here and it seems that everyone is complaining about it being messy and weights laying around blah blah, welllllll what do you expect it's a gym not your mommas house! Don't expect the staff to clean up after you. It goes like this: Cleaning up is two-fold. Rack the weights AND wipe off equipment. If you're 'strong enough' to load the bar, you're 'strong enough' to unload it. The next person may not be able to use the equipment if he/she cannot lift the weight. Others can also get hurt trying to re-rack the weights. Leaving plates around isn't impressive - it's an example of shear laziness and disrespect towards others. Wiping the equipment off is a sanitary matter. Nobody wants to lay on a bench coated in the sweat! It takes very little time to clean up and can be part of a cool down to any routine. What good things can I not say about this gym? If you're looking for a real workout, then Fitness System is the only place with the right equipment for it. Biggest weight floor in Lodi which includes 4 squat racks, a powerlifting platform and the most amount of dumbbells I've ever seen in a gym. Numerous amounts of machines for every muscle, with about every type of cardio machine there is. It's not even the equipment I like the most about the gym, it's the staff. The staff off the bat were kind and welcoming to me and take time to get to know their members! They offer free towels, classes and childcare!! The friends of mine that go to in-shape all complain about the gyms fees for towels or daycare for their kids. They have a full size basketball court as well. No pool but I wouldn't use it regardless. The price is decent but you have to remember that the gym is open 24 hours, 7 days a week so they're paying so much more than other places just to keep it open for us! I can always workout if I want to and not have to check to make sure its open first. Bottom line , if you're looking for a real gym to not only "lose wight" but gain some muscle as well, this is the only gym in town with the right equipment for it. read more

I started coming to this gym almost 2 years ago and I will NEVER go anywhere else. If your looking to better your health and fitness this is the gym you need to be in. Besides the best weight floor I've ever seen, there's also a basketball court, a power lifting platform, a sauna, and countless cardio machines. I enjoy lifting weights but I recently tried the free Zumba class and loved it. All the aerobics classes are free so I will be trying them ALL. But my favorite part of this gym is the vibe the get when you walk in the door. Some days you just don't feel like working out, and it could be the music, or the friendly, energetic employees, but something changes your mood everytime and you find yourself pumped and ready to work out. The customer service is great, all the employees get to know you on a first name basis, they even learn your favorite supplements and have them ready as you walk in. Most people dread coming to the gym but it's my favorite part of the day. I've made many physical/emotional changes thanks to fitness system and I encourage everyone to join the Fit Fam. read more

I absolutely love this Gym! I love that it is open 24hr's a day. I live in Stockton so it's a well worth 25min. drive for me. It's very clean and fully equipped for your needs. Everyone is supper friendly & I absolutely love the atmosphere! I train with Eric Davis. I have been training with him for the past 2 years. He is very well knowledgeable at what he does. He is super professional when it comes to his relationships with his clients. He makes you feel comfortable with yourself, the surroundings, as well as the equipment to where you feel adequate enough to use it on your own if necessary. He is a trainer who keeps you on your toes and keeps you accountable to your goals. That extra push when you feel you ready to give up on yourself. Best gym around by far! They have every piece of gym equipment you could imagine. When I first signed up, I knew nothing about working out so I decided to try a free training session (they didn't hound me to try it, like other places do) I was soon hooked and I'm now in the best shape I've ever been in. I love that there's so much equipment and that there's always something to do...It's clean and the staff is friendly and they always greet me when I come in. The staff is also fit and they know their products well so I have no problem asking their advice. Awesome Gym! Been a member for a few years and its only getting better. Love the staff and all of the amenities. Everyone who works there genuinely seems concerned for how the members are doing and always greet everyone who walks through the door. As a weight lifter, the gym floor is HUGE and it is so easy to get on any machine at any time. They have multiple bench press machines, squat racks, and everything else you can think of including an awesome basketball court, sauna and a number of other cool things. Love this gym! I love the atmosphere and how friendly everyone is. I started with my coach Eric a few years back and when he transferred to this gym I was a little hesitant because it was all the way in Lodi. After a few visits I was sold. I travel all the way from Modesto just to train with my coach Eric at this gym. Eric I just want to say thank you for continuing to push me through my weight loss journey. This gym is the #1 place to come and use all the amazing equipment! There's no other gym in Lodi who can beat Fitness System. Every member loves this place to grow mentally and physically. We have every machine to work on a specific body part! That's amazing! Also, on a busy day, there's always a Machine to have access with! Unlike the other gyms I've been to, I always have to wait for the person who's using the machine, but at Fitness System, They have the same machine, but they have 7 of those! I have always enjoyed this gym. Its been my home for a few years and I'm happy here. The staff is friendly, the machines are great, and there's a great group of people that work out here. I like that there isn't a car-salesman type approach to signing up or altering my account- I hate dealing with people like that. But I'm always greeted by the staff, Summer especially is always so sweet and helpful, and my daughter has a greta time in childcare. I love this gym! They have a huge floor packed with equipment which ensures that you are hardly ever waiting for a machine. The regulars are friendly and serious about lifting. They have a fabulous group of trainers. The staff is friendly and have worked hard to keep up with repairs and cleaning. Kelsy is the manager and is doing a great job. Just joined this gym last month. Really love it so far! Haven't seen this big a gym with all the equipment it has ever before. So many machines and power lifting equipment. They even have a power sled to use on turf! I bring my little sister to the childcare sometimes(which is free) and they love it! Best gym around!! I have been to many gyms, from Stockton to Vegas.... This is my favorite gym. Staff is personable, always smiling, bathrooms are clean, and more equipment than any other gym. I've been happy at this gym for 4 years now. The weight floor is as good as it gets. It's spacious and there's plenty of equipment. The staff has always been helpful and there are plenty of knowledgeable trainers on the floor to help answer any questions that I have. Also, and here's what has really sealed the deal for me, childcare is included in my monthly fee. AND I actually like the childcare and my kids like going there. It's a win for us. read more
