Fitness Together is a personal training studio in the First & Main shopping center in downtown Hudson. I signed up as a client a month ago on the advice of a friend who got good results there. I've never used a personal trainer before, but I give FT a 5-star rating simply because this is the first time that I've ever actually enjoyed working out! Facilities - 4 out of 5 The studio is small, with three private training rooms and a cardio area. There's also a nice bathroom and seperate shower room. I definitely like the facilities well enough, but I wish there was a little more color on the walls. Equipment - 5 out of 5 The equipment all seems top of the line, but I'm obviously not an expert. Each training room has its own set, which I like, because I don't ever have to wait to use a machine. Trainers - 6 out of 5 Okay, that may not be possible, but really, these guys are great! Mike and Shelly and Brad and Cody are terrific people and have been very encouraging. They keep me motivated and have taught me a lot about fitness that I never knew. I feel empowered to complete my workouts and even workout on my own sometimes. Program - 4 out of 5 Fitness Together focuses on strength training and cardio to help me get in shape. The only thing that was missing until now is a good nutriiton program. **UPDATE** They have just introduced a new program called "Nutrition Together" and my first session is next week. Overall, Fitness Together is a great program. I give them 5 out of 5 overall, even though I gave them 4 out of 5 for the facilities and the programs. I hate to workout! I've signed up at different facilities and tried to work out on my own. All failures. I finally decided to try the one-on-one thing. I've been here July 2010 and haven't missed an appointment. The trainers are patient and willing to work with me. I appreciate their knowledge and experience. I've worked with all the trainers and like the subtle differences. While it would be so easy to quit, I don't. Their encouragement to get through another session makes it worth it. Staying fit had always been a tedious chore for me especially in training centers where the trainers just give out orders without a care for the fitness needs of their clients. However, when I joined the Fitness Together, I train on a regular basis with them. They take care of their clients and aware of their needs. read more

I am enjoying a burst of energy during the day and sleeping much better. Still need to lose more weight, but muscle tone appears to be increasing. The staff is great and the workouts are never dull or boring. You never know what to expect but in the end its worth it. I needed this push to keep me on track. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience at FT. The trainers are great and the place is clean and private. Working out one-on-one with a personal trainer isn't for everyone, but for those of us who don't know what they're doing in a gym, this is a great place to learn. read more
