Have never had a bad experience at Fitrition until today. Worst customer service ever. One of the workers (manager I think) was having a bad day due to some issues they had with their deliveries. She gave attitude to everyone that came into the store, was throwing the things she was using like the blender, slamming cabinet doors, rolling her eyes when people orders, and loudly cussing and complaining about how pissed she was. I understand having a bad day especially when things at work aren't going well but creating a tense and hostile environment is another thing. Ordered a coconut smoothie bowl. All of the fruit is unripe on top and the base of the ball is like a grey liquid that is absolutely not coconut. Easily one of the most disgusting smoothie bowls I have ever had. I mean honestly, the pineapple used was barely yellow it was so unripe. I would rather eat my shoe than order from here again. Came here on Sunday and was surprised. We ordered two funky monkey bowls, when we were the only customers in the place. We were asked to wait. We sat in the seating area, and watched eight other customers come and go, including a uber eats order and we still waited for our bowls. I wonder how this business prioritize thier orders? We waited.... and waited... and customer after customer came in and recieved thier orders. I dont think this product is hard to make, nor is it soemthing special because fresh "organic" fruits and vegitables. We finally went up to the counter and no one knew what we were talking about. I mean we were sitting in the plave the whole time. There are a bunch of places in astoria that do these bowls. The problem wasn't only that we waited inside the place, in front of the employees. It was the attitude after the fact. There was no remorse. The person behind the counter said "you should have said something" which is outrageous. They could have wondred why there were customers just sitting inside the place with nothing in front of them. Maybe supervision is in order. Love this place! Ran into their location in Oyster Bay where I had an avocado toast and it was literally sooo good! They also have super tasty meals to go, juices and shots. Really liked the way how everything was prepared and found some new interesting meals that other more known places in the city don´t even offer. Can totally recommend this place and will def be back either in Queens or in Oyster Bay. read more

This place is okay (I ordered an Acai bowl on UberEats) When the Acai bowl came, it was a bit watery, but that may have been from the delivery. Awful experience. The supervisor "D" has an offensive attitude towards customers. I Ordered an "OCD" smoothie, supposed to have banana, chocolate whey protein and coffee. I added an extra scoop of chocolate protein powder and peanut butter. The smoothie was the consistency of a juice. Watered down and unpleasant, I politely brought this to "D" attention in which she was confrontational and said I'd have to wait. I told her not to worry I'll just take my money back. Fitrition is my go-to place whenever I'm in the mood for an açaí bowl. The ingredients are fresh and I'm always left satisfied. Although the food itself makes up a huge portion of experience, so does customer service and the people you encounter. The reason why I can confidently state this as a fact is because my job itself is based solely on the interactions I have with customers. With this being said, the Fitrition worker I encountered with this morning (I didn't get his name but he seemed to be the only male there) completely ruined my experience. I called to place an order for pick up and it almost seemed that if taking my order (which I could imagine is required for him to - I don't know - maybe do his job?) was an inconvenience to him. The phone call was full of huffs and puffs from his end in which he concluded by nastily saying the next time I wanted to place an order, there was an app. Even further, I went to go pick up my order and received no greeting, not even a smile. Even on my absolute worse days, I always make sure my customers at least get a little bit of respect - because at the end of the day, they really don't have anything to do with my bad mood! I'm always one to be understanding and cut people some slack, but the experience I had with this worker really left a bad taste in my mouth.
